"I've never had the chance to fight a real Cat before," her opponent taunts. "But then, if you managed to end up in here with us, you can't be particularly good at it." The badger seems to have decided not to use his therian form, actually choosing to carry a shield of all things as if it would hold up against her.
The idea would be laughable if it weren't so insulting.
Snarling her outrage, Taboo flexes her fingers. Her claws slip loose, one after another after another. Her opponent only smirks, and she resolves to rip that grin off his face.
She says as much. The badger, predictably, doesn't take the threat for what it is.
"Oh come now, darling," he laughs. "I think I could take you more seriously without those cat ears on your head." He doesn't notice how those ears swivel to catch his every step, the creak of leather every time he takes a breath, the shifting of the hidden dagger against his clothes.
More fool him.
