Chapter Text

He had been invited to live in the kingdom with his sister a while back, and things were great! He had buddies he could hang out with, things to do when he’s not lazing around, and they even had a diner with a bar close by where he and his sister now lived.

Alcohol tended to drive away His cravings for jam, though his sister had a mixture that worked for him to keep him subdued. It wasn’t as good as the alcohol or red wine, but it's better than having a hangover after being so drunk off so many bottles.

That being said, he still found himself over at the diner- after dragging himself out of his room, then out of his home- during the later hours of the day. While the sun was hanging lower in the sky, not yet set, but low enough for him to not need to bring an umbrella with him.

It was the same routine today, just as any other day for this lazy cookie, so he was almost at the diner when the sky started looking less bright. This time, though, there was a note on the door. (Note: ‘Diner and bar is closed, sorry for the inconvenience.) This made The Lazy vampire’s mood turn A bit sour. He knew that the place couldn’t be open all the time, and he’s always hoping that whenever he chooses to visit won’t be one of those days. It would be fine, except for the fact that he hasn’t been out of his home for a While. And alchemist cookie was out in crispia, somewhere on Earthbread, with A few other cookies that she hangs out with. Again, that would be fine, only IF she hadn’t forgotten to leave the batch of the mixture at their home.

Vampire cookie sulks as he feels his upset stomach and starts to make his way back home. Best to just stay there than to be in the open, to be on the safe side. He was pretty much in control of his vampiric tendencies and his now growing cravings for jam. It was going to be a pretty rough night. Nothing lazing around couldn’t handle.

Being too lazy to float at the moment, he changed into a small juice bat and flew the rest of the way. This way, if he did lose himself a little, he would be too small to do any real damage to any unfortunate cookies. At least he’s not that hungry, yet.

After all, it’s just for the day.
