Chapter Text
“Don’t be mad at me, you’re the one who lost the bet!”
“Well, I didn’t make it thinking I’d lose!”
“No one makes a bet thinking they’ll lose! Otherwise they wouldn’t make it!” Suna scooped up a skirt left by one of his one night stands. They’d left in his sweatpants without his permission. “You said you’d put it on so do it!” Osamu had lost a bet over who’s pokemon would win in a fight.
He grabbed the skirt reluctantly. “I hate you.” The loser’s punishment is to wear the skirt and do the shy anime girl pose. It’s embarrassing as hell, but at least it’s only his roommate who will see it. “Turn around.”
“Why? I see you change all the time.”
Osamu raised an eyebrow. “You do?”
“I didn’t mean it like that!” Suna layed back on his bed so he couldn’t see Osamu. “Just change already.”
Osamu slipped off his weekend sweatpants and pulled the skirt over his boxers. “Fucking idiot…” He muttered as he saw his reflection in the mirror. “Okay it’s on.”
Suna sat up, a grin on his face. “Do the pose.”
“Do I have to?”
“Yes.” Suna had been looking forward to this.
“Alright.” Osamu sighed and turned his knees inward. “I’m never making a bet with you again.” He pressed his pointer fingers together.
“You always say that.” Osamu was looking at the ground, obviously feeling embarrassed. But to his roommate and closest friend, this was hilarious. “Look at me.”
“No.”
“Look at me.”
“Ugh.” Osamu turned up his head, cheeks flushed with pink.
Flash.
Suna giggled as he snapped a quick photo. “Sheeesh, that one's going in the favorites!”
“HEY!” Osamu stopped posing immediately. He leaped towards Suna. “WHAT THE FUCK! Delete that!”
“No way!” Suna shut off his phone, slipping it into his pocket. “I’m keeping that forever.”
“SUNA!”
Osamu tried to reach for his pocket but Suna grabbed his wrist. “Nuh-uh.”
“You- I-” Osamu stopped struggling. “Just delete it…”
“Why? Cause you're blushing and posing like a whore, or because you're wearing a skirt?”
“Both! But I’m not a whore! You’re the one who’s girl left her skirt here!”
“Yeah, and she stole my pants on her way out. No way, she’s ‘my girl’.” He looked at his roommates' nervous expression. “Why’s it matter so much, anyway? Lots of guys have put on a skirt as a joke before.”
Osamu’s thumbs danced anxiously over his palms. “It’s… um- it’s a long story.”
“I’ve got time.” Suna smiled with confidence. “I’m not the one in the photo after all.”
“GAH!” Osamu pressed his palm against his forehead. “You jerk.” He rubbed his temples. “If anyone sees that photo… I… If anyone who knew me growing up saw that…It- I-”
Suna’s smile faltered for a moment. “If anyone who knew you growing up… What you mean?”
“When I was a kid…” Osamu swallowed his broken pride. “My classmates used to joke that I was the ‘girl’ of the twins. Atsumu was better at sports, and he was confident, and girls liked him. I was shy and timid. It got better as time went on. I got out of my comfort zone. I became more popular. I made more friends. I went to middle school. Then high school. And over time, as my peers changed, the ways they used to make fun of me faded. I wasn’t that person anymore. I’m not that person anymore. And-”
“So they made fun of you for being girly, what’s the big deal?” That didn’t sound so bad. “Kids are mean, there’s worse things they could’ve called you.”
Suna’s worse made Osamu freeze. They way he wrote it off so easily. “Uh- Yeah. I guess you’re right.” He tried to put his past out of his mind. “I just don’t want that picture to start anything like that again.”
Suna shrugged. “Eh. I’m not convinced.”
Osamu bit at his lip. “C’mon, I’ll do anything! Just delete it!”
“Anything?”
“Yes! As long as that picture is gone forever!”
“I could make that deal.” Suna’s grin twisted into what Osamu always referred to as his ‘evil’ smile. “Since you'll do anything…” He talked slowly for emphasis. “You have to do whatever I say for ten minutes.”
“Ten minutes?” Suna nodded. “That’s a long time!”
“Do you not want the deal, then?”
“No! I’ll take it! Fine! Just- promise me you’ll delete it after.”
“Works for me.” He pulled his phone back out. “I’m setting a timer. No cheating.” He set it to ten minutes. “Stop looking so scared, it’s only ten minutes.”
“I’m not scared!”
Click.
Suna started the timer.
“So what first?” Osamu asked, crossing his arms.
“First?” Suna leaned towards the other man. “First I wanna see what you look like under that skirt.”
“What!?” Osamu’s pink cheeks changed to a deep red.
“You heard me… strip.”
