Chapter Text
Hey there, lovely reader—
So… this is my very first time putting a story out into the world, and honestly, It’s a little nerve wracking. But I wrote this mostly for myself before anyone else. It's been a cozy little corner to escape to when things get a bit too loud. I’m not here for stats or competition or any of that jazz. I just wanted to share something soft and maybe a little tender. If it finds its way to even one kind soul who enjoys it, then that’s already more than enough.
The idea for this story actually started from a random Character.AI bot I chatted with once. It featured a florist and a tattoo artist as neighbors, and something about that vibe just stuck with me. So I grabbed the spark and ran with it. Everything else, the characters, the world, all the messy, aching slowburn feelings, is mine.
I know it sounds a little cliché, but sometimes clichés exist for a reason, right? They’re cozy. They’re familiar. And sometimes life gets too chaotic, so clichés feel like a shelter (at least for me). So if you're not into slice-of-life stories with a slow pace, soft world, and not too much thrill, then this probably isn't for you.
Anyways, thank you for reading. I hope this story feels like a warm drink on a rainy day, and the kind of hug you didn’t know you needed. And wherever you are, I hope love surprises you in the best way.
—Nova
