Alarm blaring, attempts to get up, geting up, shower, dress, eat,
brush teeth, leave for school, then after head straight to work, click click click click and math out random codes for a few hours, go home, game, eat, sleep, repeate.
This was the life of 18 year old suguru niragi.. He was a student game designer at a decently good company, living his dreams of drawing and playing video games for a living.. But he was so bored!!
Everything every day was the same over and over again... He wished for something exiting- but what came, he wasnt sure how to feel about..
The day started normal. He woke up, got out of bed eventually, showered, dressed, ate, brushed his teeth before leaving off to school.
"Bye mum! Bye dad!"
He yelled to his parents who were in the living room. Niragi had a decent life... Decent, not good. His family was okay, could have been around a bit more for him, or helped him out more... But they didnt. Niragi was bullied in his early high school years by his Seniors, and the school did jack shit about it due to there not being enough proof, as if a broken nose or arm, the bruises and other injuries werent enough!! His parents could only comfort him and tell him it would get better, wait it out, report it more, and take him to hospitals for patch ups... They never themselves actually went down to complain.
After niragis bullies graduated, he changed himself to avoid ever having to to through that again! He was mean, an asshole, he did everything in his power to show he was not to be fucked with. But no matter how scary he was, how angry, how much he growled... Arisu fucking ryohei would greet him with a huge smile every morning both at school and at work!! Because of course they also had to work together- fucking arisu!! Niragi hated him... He hated all of arisus friends too...

Usagi (17), the shy quiet one who somehow managed to have everyone still love her... Kuina (18), the hyper one who always spoke about fashion, gay shit, or girly things.. Then, tatta (18) an absolute wussy to man kind and brings honor to the flight or (no) fight response, what a pussy... Outside of the friend group, but still related was ann (19) who for some reason, even though graduated, still hangs around the school grounds during breaks to hang with kuina. Then, last and the least... Another friend of kuinas... Shuntaro fucking chishiya (17).. The soon to be med student who was SOOOO smart, he was on the path to graduating early to become a surgeon... Niragi hated that bastard, he thought he was SOO smart, niragi was smart too!! But chishiya, he was just a tad bit faster... A tad bit ahead, leaving them all behind in the dust... No, not even, he was so fast the dust didn't even reach any poor souls who hoped to catch up!
Niragi hated all of them... ALL OF THEM!!
but even so... He had school with them all, and worked with arisu after school..

He walks into his first class, art, a class he shared with kuina..
It was either art, child studies or drama... Niragi hated kids AND drama... But, he did love art. It only so happened that kuina liked art too...

Well... She wasnt too bad... She was decently nice to niragi when he wasnt messing with her friends. He still hated her though because- uhh... Because!! She was friends with stupid arisu and CHISHIYA!!

But, ignoring that and the fact she was just... So confident... Ignoring his own jealousy... Kuina was actually really cool...
Niragi focused on drawing.. If he finished early he could sketch out new background characters to add to his game.
The game was called- or, would be called once he finished it, 'class of zombies', the game was, you start as a sad school boy, bored out of his mind, in a class full of jock bullies, when suddenly the school goes into lockdown due to a student going crazy.. But, it turns out, the student is a zombie!! So now your stuck in a class full of dumbass jocks and the entire school is locked full of a zombie outbreak.
Eventually the jocks try to run out and fight the zombies, and obviously get bit and die, so while they are being eaten your player absolutely bolts out of there and managed to get to a new classroom. In the game you meet new characters and can form bonds and teams, some help you, some betray you, some die or will cause you to die.. and the goal is to get to the schools basement where they keep the buses. Once you manage to get and start a bus, you drive off to safty.
Niragi inspired it a bit from all of us are dead, the kdrama series he saw on Netflix, along with a few other zombie shows, and another video game called 'nocturnals' by cowboy toad games.. Niragi watched a YouTuber play it and thought it was so cool! But, in his game, he wanted to have many more options for who you work with, what you do, what you say to other characters, and those character bonds. Hes been working on it for so long now... And all hes finished is the games intro, and the main character designs!! But oh well, he liked working and drawing, animating and coding, he lived for it.
He couldn't help but be jealous of those show and games... His life was so boring, he didn't have to fight to survive, so it didn't feel as his life was too important. Even when he was bullied, he feared dying yes, but what would even change if he was alive? Niragi was just kinda... There... Trying his best to entertain himself until the world was sick of him and struck him down...
Class ended way too soon, it felt like a blink of the eye!! Niragi wanted more time, honestly, he wished he could have all his classes as just art...
But, life sucked so he had things like science and bio... Niragi wasnt interested in that at all!! He liked art and math!! All he wanted to do was make games, play games, have fun, be awesome and... Uh... Something else he hadnt quiet found yet.
He packed all his things up, and exits the class... Time for bio....
He sighs
Because bio ment none other then shuntaro chishiya...

Shuntaro chishiya was the top student in the school, better then everyone... He was good at math, biology, art, science- EVERYTHING! every single bloody class this man was at the top and he did it all so... So effortlessly...
Every collage and university around wanted him like highschool girls... And hell, ACTUAL highschool girls were all over him too, some men even wanted him!!
People were all to busy gushing over his looks and smarts to realize inside was all rotten. Shuntaro chishiya was an asshole!! He was so cunning and smug, a sly manipulative little shit who got away with everything!! He even manipulated the school into not taking any phisical courses! Lazy bastard...
He was a privileged spoiled untouchable brat...
Niragi hated him...
He was so exited to graduate just to one, get the fuck away from chishiya, and two, focus fully on his job!
After graduation... Niragis life would be gold.

Standing infront of bio class, niragi also found himself standing infront of, you geussed it, chishiya...
"Ladies first"
Chishiya said with a small smirk... He knew saying that pissed niragi off...
"Insufferable assholes first"
Niragi growls back
"I already said you could go first, no need to repeat it..."
With that, niragi grabs the front of chishiya shirt- obviously not getting far as the bio teacher stood there behind them in the door, arms crossed.
"Thanks for volunteering to clean up after school!"
The teacher says, looking at them mockingly... That one way adults look trying to be sassy and domanate, but they just look- and are, assholes.
Clean up as a punishment... Wow
Niragi shoved chishiya before storming into class.
....
SO... Thats how niragi found himself with none other then shuntaro chishiya, cleaning the school up after school...
The janiter quit, with good reason... Highschoolers were crazy!! Niragi didn't blame them...
But that dosnt mean he wasnt angry... Because now he had to call off work- AND spend more time with not only chishiya- the whole group!! Because for some horrible fucking reason the world was against him and all of them happened to be helping to clean up...
Kuina wanted to help, so arisu, usagi and tatta obviously follow her... Ann for some reason managed to sneak in to be with kuina, and was helping..
Along with this group, there were some more nerdy rando's who volunteered, and the wannabe cool jock guys who were volun-told as punishment... And jock guys ment jock guys girlfriends... Who also snuck in with ann... So no snitches sadly unless you want to be jumped.
Niragi sighs... How could this day get any worce?
He lays his head against the window of the classroom he and some rando were cleaning, glancing out longingly...
He wanted to go draw!! He wanted to code and be rewarded for being nerdy...
...huh, fireworks? In the day time?...
Maybe he could add fireworks to his game...
"Pretty, arent they? I wonder what kind they are... Normally day time fireworks you can see the smoke... Right?"
The rando asks, joining niragi at the window. Niragi side eyes the guy, and before he could call him some kind of slur-

aaannnd.... Power outage... Now, this day truly was the worst...
It flickers, the lights coming back on... Did niragi save his final draft at work? He left it open... Fuck... If that tiny flicker deletes his work...
The rooms computer turns on, showing a white screen and a loading circle.
Niragi groans, now getting angry.
"Turn that off, if you think im cleaning this room by myself i swear to-
"I didn't touch it!! Promise!"
"Bullshit!!"
Niragi hit the student head, then grabs the wires and unplugs the computer
"Listen you you retar-"
"It didn't turn off?"
That caught niragis attention. He turns to look at the computer... A white screen loading.
What the hell...?
Niragi hits the power button, plugs it back in and unplugs it again.. The screen stays the same, other then the loading circle spinning.
The intercom in the room made a chime sound, echoing in the hallway.
A school announcement at this time? Did they change their mind about the cleaning?
"Registration is now completed. There are, 20, players"
