Your name is Jade Harley and you are currently on cloud nine after what has just happened. Talk about an emotional roller coaster though, you weren’t sure things would work out but you are sure as hell glad that they did. Your reverie is interrupted by a concerned roommate.
“Jade wtf happened to u?!?!?! u told me u were gonna go hang out in the park, did a bear beat the shit outta u????”
“No no, everything’s okay! In fact, I think I had the best date ever?”
“A date? ok. jadey. I trust you with my life ofc but like… gotta understand coming home from a date with bruises is not a good look hun. If shit got bad, you let me know and I’ll sort that bitch out.”
“No no! That’s not it we… Well… we did fight… I challenged her to a fight and things got a little complicated but we figured things out!”
“Huh. well shit, i didn’t realize you were into that jade, but aight.”
“ROXY!!!”
“I’m kidding, kidding. mostly. Anyways, who’s the lucky lady to be dating such a cutie patoot like you?”
“Well… her name is…”

Your name is Vriska Serket and you are currently freaking the fuck out. Why did you do that! Oh gog oh gog. You wanted to say something but you didn’t think she would actually say yes! What do you do now! Do you say something to someone or call her or anything! As your mind is racing you have made it to the front door of your hive you share with Terezi. She is staring at you. Say something!
“Hello…”
“YOU SOUND LIK3 YOU GOT TH3 SH1T B34T OUT OF YOU”
Terezi takes a few cursory sniffs around.

You bring yourself to walk inside and sit on the couch so you aren’t standing in the doorway awkwardly. You try to explain what happened today but words appear to fail you. Before you know it, you find yourself in the embrace of your Moirail as she paps your shoulder to soothe your worries.
“H3Y, 1T’S OKAY. 1’M H3R3 NOW. GONN4 N33D YOU TO TELL M3 ABOUT HOW TH4T DU3L W3NT THOUGH.”
“Well…I fought Jade and… I lost.”
“NO SH1T.”
“It’s weird…I should feel 8ad that I lost but I just. Don’t?”
“HMMMM. 1S IT POSS1BL3 TH4T 1 4M SM3LLING A BLOSSOM1NG K1SM3S1SS1TUD3 :?”

You groan as you flush with some embarrassment.
“Yeah. They are. I just… it's different this time. I really don't want to fuck this up.”
“1T’LL WORK. TRUST M3!”
“Oh, one more thing.”

“Yes, but shut up. Why are you all scratched and bruised today?”

Jade nods vigorously.
“i mean… damn ok i need a minute to process this. First off, fuckin nice. Second, damn you really laid that bitch out on the floor with your punches, huh? Hell of a first date lmao”
“yeah i still kinda feel bad about that but it all worked out i think!!!”
“yeah i bet it did *wonk*”
Your bruised face blushes profusely. You try to think of a good retort but before you can say anything, your ringtone starts to fill the air. It's Rose. Roxy gives you a hug and another wink before heading back into her room to let you take this call.
“Hello Jade, it's been a while. As it happens, Kanaya and I have been granted the rare opportunity to take a day off from overseeing the Brooding Caverns and we wanted to know if you would like to accompany us to a strange new establishment. One where they infest grains with a fungus, then engulf it in flame and watch the horrifying chemical reactions that ensue, allowing the audience to consume the end product.”
“Oh! I'd love to join you for lunch at Jane's new bakery!”
“Splendid, I'll make a reservation fo-”
“Wait! Um. Can you make it a reservation for four?”
“Oh? Making this a double date?”
“Y-yeah. I-I hope that's okay.”
“We'd be delighted to meet your new girlfriend.”
“Oh, that's a relief. Wait… I never said who it was-”
“See you tomorrow, Jade.”
You lay back in your bed, anxious yet excited for tomorrow.
