Bleeding Oceans

Summary:

This is a tribute to corvid's "old man and (the glowing) sea" and "many waters (cannot quench love)." Oh, corvid, you've got me hooked. I'm such a sucker for female OCs, and your stories hit the jackpot! 🎰 This space is where I'm going to be letting my hair down and posting poetry and prose about your stories. 💐👏🏻

Notes:

Chapter 1: Peach Eyes

Summary:

With loneliness and love
it's a thin line.
In your absence either
could be right.
Call it what you like
but I'm undone.
Feeling cold, feeling cold.
Would you fight?

- Davis John Patton, 'Motives'

Chapter Text

What’s prime rib to this callous heart?
Torn shellfish are scuffling and shuffling away.
Suffer a strangled voice.
Darlin’, you plugged my ears but unlocked my heart.
The end of my world, the beginning of yours.
Sweet release, tart darkness.
Lost all and yet...
Your hookline sank inside.
I find I don’t mind.
I mind you, mind.
I will wait; we’ll figure ‘us’ out.
Eyes don’t need defense. Quit this pretense.
Light film blink, centennial brink.
Shaping, I’ll be your reflection.
Rainbow fish mine. You’ve got me entwined.
