"I'm pregnant" there was silence between the two after that, their eyes meeting and staying focused on one another for only a few seconds more before the eye contact was broken by George looking down at the ground.
Brian felt a whirlwind of emotions, fear, anxiety, maybe a little excitement deep down. Though he was mainly concerned about George's wellbeing before anything so he smiled and invited him in for tea.
George hesitantly looked up, avoiding Brian's gaze but accepting his invention, he walked in once the older man stepped aside and he looked up once more, the environment was no longer comforting, not like before.
Before, it was a place of sanctuary, away from the screaming fans, demanding press, loud drums and guitar riffs. Of course he loves being a Beatle, no doubt about that but even a Beatle needs a break.
Brian inviting him over was platonic, at first. He told his manager that he was getting overwhelmed and needed somewhere to escape for a little while, Brain invited him over to discuss the matter farther, George found that the older's man home was rather clean, quiet, and very classy.
The musician wasn't complaining, it matched Brian perfectly. George also felt a sense of security, it was just the two of them, no need to constantly keep up or worry about his insecurities, he was free to be more of himself.
"You live like an old man", Brian laughed at George's comment with sincerity. Not a jab, more of an observation, he wanted to come back again, he wanted to make this his safe heaven, Brian agreed, as long as George was okay with it just being the two of them. This was his place after all, he owned it.

"Is it mine?" Brian asked as he poured a cup of herbal tea for George, he didn't spill a single drop. "Yeah, pretty sure at least" he focused his eyes on watching his boss's movements carefully. "Oh?" Brian inquired, wondering what George meant by that.
"Yeah, I mean, you are the only person I've let do me and I counted the weeks and it matched", he said, Brian noted that the man's voice was much quieter, even more so than usual. "Are ye mad?" George asked, he began bouncing his leg, a sign that he was nervous.
"No, I'm not, I suppose I should've been more careful, I'm sorry about that, love". George felt his face heat up when he was called 'love', he prayed that the other didn't notice and it appears that he didn't.
"S',fine, I'm just not sure what to do now, I don't want to keep it but I also feel bad for gettin rid of it, is that weird?"
"Not at all" the elder gentlemen reassured, George decided some tea would do him some good and he politely drank his cup. He felt less ill and more relaxed, Brian didn't seem phased at all, George was curious about why but Eppy had a way of being calm even during the most outrageous situations.
"Well.. if i did keep it, what would ye do?" The question that came from George's mouth has Brian thinking, raising a child right now would be incredibly challenging, not just because of how busy they are. The social stigma of having a baby out of wedlock and the fact George is a man would set people off.
It would be a disaster, who knows what they would say to George. He doesn't want any of his boys to get hurt, especially not by him.
"I'd be with you every step of the way, I support your decision either way."
