As white lily pushed open the door to shadow milk's room, the smell of rotten food and dust wafted into her face, making her inernly gag "Shadow, what are you doin g yo right now, its 12 pm and you have a test tomorrow..." White lily had said in her soft spoken voice laced with a hint of concern as she stepped around the mess to sit on his bed. "Its whatever, I'll just skip!" Shadow milk says with a slight tinge of mockery in his voice "why do you even care, its not your grades..." Shadow milk trails off to himself.
"Because I'm worried about you! You have been missing a lot of school, your going to have to retake this year if you keep skipping so much...." White lily says, her voice filled with concern
"Fine.... Then can you... Help me study for my test at least?" Shadow milk said with a sigh as the thought of having to retake the grade without white lily there scared him.
"Of course! If you ever need help, you can ask me" white lily said hapily as she grabed his bookbag and pulled out a few papers and books while shadow milk sat next to her, carefully listining to her words while admiring her face. As white lily layed out the books and papers the listed off the things to do and explained the material.
By the time they finished it, it had gotten to around 2 in the morning "now that your caught up in some of your work, we should go to bed now," white lily had said through a yawn as she tucked the books away in their original spots and left the room while wishing him a good night.
Shadow milk wished white lily a good night, watching the door close behind her then pulling a small diary white lily had given him from under his bed and opened it flipping past a few logs full of experiences he had with white lily. When he finally flipped to a blank page he began quickly writing,
'Today lily had helped me study! She was sooo worried about me and that I might get help back but I am too! I can't imagine doing these stupid classes without her there.... But I think she was grosses out about my room so I better clean it up soon or maybe I can get her to do it with me!' Once shadow milk had finished with his small log, he began scribling a picture of her that took up more than half of the page, he erased it over and over again until it was perfect, then drew a small undetailed (really bad) drawing of himself holding her hand.
After her was done, he sliped it back into its hiding spot and going to sleep.
