Charlie leaned towards Isaac. “Who's the hot new coworker?” He watched as the ginger freckled substitute teacher unpacked a lunch full of a surprising amount of baked goods.
“Nelson maybe? New year two teacher. Ginormous heterosexual if you ask me.”
“No ring - think his girlfriend made his lunch? I wouldn't mind some of that strawberry shortcake.”
“He’s not that short,” Isaac laughed.
Charlie bit his lip. “Strawberry cream pie maybe?”
Isaac frowned. “I'm not even sure that he's really ginger.”
The teacher looked over at them and smirked. “Strawberry’s fine but I'm more of a ginger-bred man, myself” Nick said.
