Chapter Text
Another one. God damn it. This little child psycho got another one. Officer Karmaln threw the papers onto the desk. She'd worked so many sleepless nights on this case and yet the police of Henry Bay couldn't catch a damn child? How fast could a thirteen, 5’1, 135 lbs kid run, damn it!!?
The clock clicked twelve. She oughta get going on home. She'd been here since five that morning.
She slid on her coat and cap, she placed her hands on her umbrella, considering. Jack would be home soon. He could take care of Lily. With a child psycho on the loose it wasn't safe to roam the night. Especially seeing that this kid was agile enough to counter a grown man. So, instead, Officer Karmaln removed her hand from the umbrella and went to call her husband to tell him she wouldn't be home tonight.
