My idea started with Ozzie visiting Valentino to check up on how he's running things and see's Blitzo "working" on some bastards who are less than nice. (Blitz has a few small injuries & is clearly not into it) He notices the burn scars and asks Valentino about him, learning that he was sold by his father to Valentino to pay for some imps limbs after the accident (Valentino doesn't know or care that it's Fizz), and makes the connection between Fizz & Blitzo because really how many imp's have lost all their limbs?
Ozzie can't stand to leave Blitzo there, so he buys the rest of his contract from Valentino and takes him home.
At this point, Blitzo has been with Valentino for 15 years and has gotten into the habit of being used for sex even when he doesn't want it, so he's very out of his element and scared about what's going to happen to him. Valentino didn't treat him well at all. He barely got enough to eat, worked very long hours with no breaks, was hit anytime he talked back, or didn't do something to Valentino's liking. Doesn't talk much at all outside of when he's told to by a customer or responding to an order given by Valentino. He was also forced to sleep in a cramped cage and was only really allowed out when he was needed. He doesn't have any self-worth and is constantly in survival mode. The only possession he has is his mother's skull brooch which he had been hiding under his thin blanket in his cage.
Ozzie gets Blitzo back home where he and Fizz are reunited, and Fizz is understandably not happy because he thinks Blitzo tried to kill and then abandon him. Blitzo, on the other hand, is so happy to see Fizz and, at first, he can only say his name (maybe crying as well). Blitzo's happiness withers away when Fizz starts yelling at him, and when he tries to explain, he's having trouble talking to someone who's yelling at him (trauma), so he's a stuttering mess till Ozzie steps in and explains what he knows.
I was thinking the story would focus on them helping Blitzo and Fizz heal. Fizz from all the hate and hurt he felt about Blitzo, and Blitzo from the years of being used and abused by literally everyone around him. I wanted the 3 of them to end up together, but I have no idea at what stage of the healing process.
This story is very VERY dark in my head until Blitzo is saved by Ozzie and I wish I had the time to write it, but I hope one of you is interested enough to pick up the idea!
Edit: Angel Dust and Blitzo having a good friendship is also something I was thinking about, not sexual (that's up to you but for me, it wouldn't be), but I have no idea how I'd do it. But I love the idea.
I don't know enough about the cast of Hazbin Hotel so I also have no idea who to pair Angel with. I was thinking Husk, or Alastor, or maybe both. I don't know enough about their dynamic.
