A Love Just For Me

Summary:

Fadel is not openly affectionate in public.

Style doesn’t mind, that is until people keep pointing it out.

Notes:

Oh spreading my baby boy Fadel agenda as always! I also figured we could use some fluff after that last episode because ….

Work Text:

Sometimes Style forgets that the Fadel his small family — Kant, Bison and his dad — gets and the Fadel that Style gets is not the same Fadel the rest of the world gets. When Fadel is with the very few people he loves, or better yet actually trusts, he doesn’t have his guard up. When he is around people he is unfamiliar with though? Well he is a different person.

It always surprises Style when people look at Fadel with fear or uncertainty because well, if he’s being honest he forgets that his boyfriend is actually pretty intimidating. Fadel doesn’t smile often, at least not without reason. Style always teases him for his perpetual resting bitch face and Fadel will simply roll his eyes and flick him on the forehead. Fadel also doesn’t go out of his way to speak to people unless there is a need for it. Sure, he’s polite to wait staff or bartenders or really, any sort of retail worker but when it comes to people just around them, he mostly keeps to himself.

Where Style is an absolute yapper, Fadel prefers more of the listener role. That, and the watcher. If there is one thing Fadel can do, it’s observe people and read them like an open book. So, yes, sometimes Style forgets.

Until he’s reminded.

“He’s your boyfriend?” Which, why does Phayu sound so surprised? Rude? “Dude he hasn’t smiled once.”

“As if you are the most open person in the world,” Style quips back, feeling oddly defensive about his boyfriend.

Phayu raises his hands. “When I’m around my boyfriend I am.”

Style snorts. “Believe me, I know. I’ve unfortunately had to witness it with my own eyes.”

“Hater.” Phayu doesn’t look the least bit embarrassed. “I’m just saying, he’s stoic as hell. How can you even tell he really likes you?”

Style opens his mouth, ready to throw an arsenal of reasons as to how he knows his boyfriend loves him but Fadel returns then. When he reaches them, he places a drink down in front of him and immediately sits next to him, Style didn’t even have to ask for a drink because Fadel knows his go to order. Style then feels Fadel’s hand rest on his lower back and these are just two of the many things Fadel does that lets Style know he loves him.

Anytime they are anywhere, Fadel has to touch him. Whether it be a hand to the small of his back or simply interlocking pinkies, Fadel finds comfort in touching him. Now, they are by no means like Kant and Bison who, Style thinks have some kind of voyerism thing going on because they are always two seconds from fucking out in the open. No, Fadel is a bit more reserved — at least in public. Style has a lot of theories as to why but the two he has come to settle on is one, Fadel has spent his entire life looking back over his shoulder so he keeps important things close to his chest and out of the public eye and two, Fadel is just naturally a private person.

Fadel also just knows him, doing things for him without Style having to ask.

His boyfriend just doesn’t feel the need to boast about himself or make himself seem better than he is. Fadel is confident in who he is, he doesn’t feel the need to have to prove anything. He is also confident in Style’s feelings for him so he doesn’t feel obligated to constantly lay claim on him. There are the occasions he does of course — like when a man tries to get too handsy or he senses Style is uncomfortable. Then he will step in and let whoever is bothering him that Style is taken and he has no qualms about breaking the arm that’s touching him.

Style thinks about it all the way home and he honestly finds it kind of funny because if only people knew how Fadel was when they were alone. Genuinely, he thinks people wouldn’t believe him at all.

“Babeeeee,” Fadel is practically whining, pulling Style from his thoughts. “Pay attention to me.”

Style laughs, enamored by his boyfriend. “I am baby. I was just thinking.”

“Yeah yeah, cuddle me,” Fadel is always pliant when he’s tired and when he first wakes up. “I want to be the little spoon.”

Style does as he is asked and pulls his boyfriend into his chest, curling around Fadel. His boyfriend hums, content as Style wraps his arms around his waist. It took a long time for them to get here. At first, Fadel felt that he always had to be the protector — the one that took care of Style. It took a lot of long talks and Style practically begging him to just freely ask for what he wants for them to get here. Now Fadel has absolutely no hesitation in asking for what he wants.

“Aren’t you just my precious baby,” Style teases, peppering kisses to the back of Fadel’s head. “My big bad hitman just wants cuddles.”

“Shut up,” Fadel gripes but there is no bite to the words. “I missed you.”

“Hm, you were with me practically all day.” Style nuzzles the back of Fadel’s head, enjoying the way the other man presses back against him. “How could you miss me?”

“I always miss you,” Fadel mumbles and Style can tell he’s practically asleep already. “Don’t like when you aren’t around.”

It’s raw and vulnerable. Style knows the Fadel he first met would never admit something like that. Now though, he is always talking about how he feels, cheesy or not.

“I missed you too, now sleep.”

“Mm.”

Style has a feeling his boyfriend is already asleep. That feeling is proven right when Fadel’s breathing evens out and he goes slack in Style’s arms. That’s also something that took a while, Fadel feeling comfortable enough to fall asleep first. At first, Fadel would fight it, no matter how tired he was he wouldn’t sleep unless Style was asleep. Now, Style finds himself awake longer than his boyfriend almost every night.

He doesn’t mind it though because it gives him time to admire Fadel without him knowing. Style loves Fadel when he’s asleep because he looks a lot younger. There is not a wrinkle of stress on his face, just pure relaxation and bliss. Something that he deserves more than anyone, except maybe Bison. Well, they both deserve it actually.

Sleep finds him easily and honestly the conversation he had with Phayu is out of his mind the moment he wakes up. Fadel is still sleeping, having moved at one point during the night so his face was pressed into Style’s neck. It’s not an unusual way to wake up because Fadel somehow always finds his way into the crook of his neck. He claims it’s his safe place and Style doesn’t mind that at all.

Style is careful as he extracts himself from his boyfriend. Fadel doesn’t work today so Style is determined to let him sleep in. It’s rare that he is able to but with them hiring more help at the restaurant, he actually gets to enjoy a day off or two every week. Style unfortunately does not have that same luxury. He changes quickly and goes downstairs to get his day started.

There are a few mechanics in by the time he goes downstairs so he does his rounds, saying good morning to everyone and making sure everyone is aware of what needs to be done. Work always feels like it goes by fast and before he knows it, it’s been two hours since he started working. Wiping his hands on his overalls, he walks back inside of the shop area where they have things on display and decides to take a quick twenty minutes to himself.

Only about two minutes pass before he’s met with an armful of his boyfriend. Fadel doesn’t say anything as he grabs Style’s arms and wraps them around his neck. Style obliged, never opposed to having his boy so close to him. Fadel presses his face in the crook of his next, inhaling and exhaling softly.

“You sleep well?” Style asks softly.

Fadel nods, not removing his face from his neck. “Yes but you weren’t there when I woke up.” The words are mumbled into his throat. “Don’t like when you aren’t there when I wake up.”

Style hums, gently squeezing his boyfriend. “I’m sorry baby. I had to work and didn’t want to wake you up. You looked so peaceful.”

Fadel huffs and Style finds it adorable. His boyfriend really does act like a pouty baby sometimes. “Can I wait for you here?”

“You don’t even have to ask,” Style says, meaning it wholeheartedly. Truly, he loves having Fadel with him. It brings him a sense of calmness. “I shouldn’t have to work the full day today.”

“Mkay,” Fadel says, still not making an effort to remove himself from Style’s neck. “Can we stay here? Don’t wanna share you tonight.”

Style smiles, absolutely okay with that. “Of course. Want me to order food for dinner or do you want to go stop by the market and get some stuff for dinner?”

Fadel pulls back then, seemingly considering both options seriously. “I’ll go to the market. I haven’t made you dinner in a while and I know pa is out of town but he should be back tomorrow right? He can have the leftovers. Maybe I’ll make his favorite, if you are okay with that.”

“Of course.” Style presses a kiss to his boyfriend's lips. “I am sure he would love that.”

Fadel shares a small smile at that. “Okay. I’ll get dressed and go.”

Style nods, letting his boyfriend go even though he doesn’t want to. He watches as Fadel disappears into the upstairs apartment and finds himself smiling. Fadel just fits so well into his life and he’s grateful that his pa feels the same. Honestly, his dad told Style to get married to him already so he could officially be part of the family. It’s something Style has seriously been considering as of late, now that they are able to marry each other if they want.

Shaking that thought from his head — it will be filed away for a later time, he throws himself back into work. The sooner he gets what he needs done, the sooner he can cuddle with his boyfriend. It’s a great motivator. Fadel eventually comes back out and Style immediately recognizes the sweater he is wearing as his own. That’s another thing Fadel loves doing — wearing his clothes any chance he gets.

They are pretty much the same size so they are constantly swapping clothes but Fadel has a pension for it more often. Any opportunity that presents itself, he will take. Style has had to buy new clothes to make up for all the ones that now live with Fadel but he doesn’t mind in the slightest. He feels honored that Fadel wants to wear his clothes, that he wants to feel close to Style even when he’s not around. It’s sweet.

Fadel doesn’t kiss him as he says goodbye, which Style isn’t surprised about. There are quite a few guys in the garage so their PDA will be kept at a minimum. Style doesn’t mind though, especially when Fadel instead just ruffles his hair affectionately. It sort of makes him feel like a dog but he’s still pleased by it.

“I’ll be back,” Fadel says.

Style gives him a smile. “Okay. I’ll try to wrap up.”

“Okay. I love you.”

That’s the one thing that Fadel will always say out loud, regardless of who is around. If they are parting ways, Fadel is always sure to tell him he loves him. He also won’t leave until Style says it back.

“I love you too. Be safe.”

Fadel nods and then he’s stepping back and turning towards his jeep. Style watches him go, waiting until the jeep is gone from his sight. After that, he continues to work. He’s pretty much almost finished so he should be done about the time Fadel comes back.

Style feels his phone start buzzing in his pocket and he smiles to himself, already knowing what to expect.

It’s another one of Fadel’s habits, one that Style honestly did not expect when they got into a relationship. When they first began dating, Fadel’s texts were few and far between and Style had accepted that his boyfriend just wasn’t much of a texter. After everything happened and Fadel was finally able to feel comfortable just existing without fearing a constant threat, that changed. Turns out Fadel loved texting. Anytime they were apart and Fadel wasn’t working, Style could almost always expect an onslaught of texts. At first Style felt bad because he wasn’t always able to reply right away but Fadel had reassured him he didn’t mind at all. Truly, he just wanted to share his thoughts with Style and was fine with him replying when he was free.

When Style showed him how to use emojis and emoticons, it was game over. Style loved it. It always made him feel closer to Fadel, even when they weren’t physically together. It was also nice to know that Fadel wanted to tell him small, random things about his day just because he wanted to share every moment with Style.

Style is just about to type out his reply when one of his friends comes up to him and bumps his shoulder with his own. Style looks up at him, raising an eyebrow.

“What’s got you smiling so hard at your phone?” Jom asks.

Style flushes slightly, not even realizing he was smiling. “Nothing, just texting Fadel.”

Jom blinks at him. “He texts?”

Style almost snorts. “Uh, yes?”

“Wow, honestly I didn’t expect that.” Jom sounds amused and Style feels like he’s missing out on the joke here. “I bet his texts are all so dry. How do you put up with it?”

“Why would they be dry?” Style is genuinely confused.

Jom looks at him as if he is the crazy one. “I mean the dude isn’t exactly a cuddly teddy bear type. He seems very to the point so I could only imagine what he’s like on text.”

Style wants to argue that because Fadel actually is the cuddly teddy bear type but then his phone is buzzing again and honestly, Style forgets Jom is even there.

When Style puts his phone away, Jom is gone, probably working again. Style wants to correct him because he couldn’t be more wrong but he also doesn’t care what he thinks. If Jom wants to think Fadel is just some grump, well that is fine with Style because then he doesn’t have to worry about him hitting on him. No one else will ever get to text Fadel the way he does and he will make sure of that.

Fadel arrives not much longer after that and as promised, Style is done with work. He helps Fadel carry the bags upstairs, telling his assistant manager to lock up at the end of the day before he goes. The assistant manager gives a salute and Style is officially free.

Style gets in the shower as soon as everything is put away and Fadel gets to work on preparing the food. Style makes quick work of getting clean, wanting to be close to his boyfriend as soon as possible. Sometimes he feels clingy too, especially after a long day at work. When he enters the kitchen, Fadel is hard at work and Style takes a moment to admire him.

Fadel always gets lost in his own world when he’s cooking. It’s like he’s completely in his element and it’s something Style loves to watch. There is not a single ounce of stress on his face and that, coupled with how cute he looks in Style’s sweater, has his heart speeding up in his chest. He’s just so lucky.

Style can’t take it anymore, sliding up behind Fadel and wrapping his arms around his waist. Fadel doesn’t protest, he never does. Style hooks his chin over his shoulder and just watches as Fadel cooks. Neither of them say anything, not feeling compelled to fill the silence between them. It’s never awkward. The feeling of when they get to just exist together is comforting actually.

It’s somewhat foreign, for Style to be comfortable in the silence. For as long as he remembers, he has always felt the need to fill even a moment of quiet with something. Whether that be a joke or just a random fact, he hated the quiet. Maybe it’s because when his mother died, their house got so… quiet. It felt empty without her there, as if the life of their home was taken along with her. So Style decided he would never let it be quiet again, at least not while he was around.

Then he met Fadel, who is quiet. As they grew together, Style started slowly being okay with the silence again. There was something about being with Fadel that didn’t make it feel suffocating. Instead, it brought Style a sense of peace he hadn’t felt since his mom died.

“It’s ready,” Fadel says lightly, probably sensing Style is lost in thought. He can read him like an open book. “Are you still feeling up to eating?”

Style nods against his shoulder. “I’m always up to eating when you cook.”

Even though Style can’t see his face clearly, he knows that Fadel is smiling. Style presses a kiss to his neck before he unwraps his arms from around him. Fadel serves him his plate and they move to the dining room table. They eat in relative silence, talking about random things here and there but it’s not forced. When they are finished, they go back to Style’s room.

Fadel once again grabs a shirt and pair of pants from Style’s dresser and Style has a feeling he will never see them again. It’s hard to be mad about it though when Fadel looks so cute and soft. Fadel goes to his side of the bed, getting comfortable while Style turns on the TV and finds a movie for them to watch.

Style finds a romance, knowing that Fadel loves them. It’s actually quite cute how Fadel, who is all hard edges and cold eyes is actually such a softie behind closed doors. Style absolutely adores it.

“What’s this about?” Fadel asks, opening his arms for Style to slide into as he gets in bed.

“Uh, I think about a man who goes back in time to find the love of his life that he let go,” Style says, vaguely remembering the summary. “I think. I could be wrong.”

“Mm,” Fadel responds, pressing his nose into Style’s hair and inhaling softly.

When they first started dating, Style didn’t envision Fadel as the cuddly type but he was quickly proven wrong. One of his favorite things is being able to hold Style in his arms. When Style asked why, Fadel had simply shrugged and said that he loved being able to feel his heartbeat because it brought him comfort.

By the end of the movie, Fadel is crying, which is not surprising in the slightest. He is an absolute sucker for a happy ending. Style wipes his tears, completely endeared by him.

“I would definitely go back in time for you,” Fadel says between sniffles and Style just finds him so cute.

“You would?” Style plays along.

“Of course,” Fadel answers and there is such a sincere tone to the words. “I would do anything to find you in every single life.”

“You are so gay sometimes,” Style says, pretending he’s not flushing all the way to the tips of his ears.

“You love it.”

Style can’t argue that one because he does. Fadel is a sweet talker, constantly telling Style how much he means to him in different ways. Sometimes it’s not just a simple ‘I love you’ but it’s a ‘I would find you in every life’.

At some point they fall asleep and when Style wakes up, it’s to a note on Fadel’s pillow.

Had to go to work, baby. I’ll miss you. I hope you have a good day at work. I love you.

Style smiles to himself, grabbing the note and taking it to his desk. He opens the small chest on it, adding the note to all of the others that Fadel has left for him. Fadel loves leaving him little notes for him to find, especially when he knows they are going to spend the day apart due to things like work.

Style looks into the box, looking at just a few of his favorites.

You look beautiful when you are sleeping. I’ll miss you. I love you sweet boy.

I took your sweater. I couldn’t help it. I'm sorry. I’m really not though. I love you Style. I’ll see you tonight.

Don’t forget to take the medicine I left for you. I’ll be back later to take care of you. I love you baby.

Pa asked if I could help him out with some errands. I’ll be back after I promise. Sleep in baby. I love you.

I got you your favorite pastries from that shop you like before I left. Call me when you are awake. I love you.

Style can’t help the completely idiotic smile that overtakes his face as he looks at them. He would never admit this out loud but sometimes the notes are what help him get through the day. Fadel doesn’t know but he keeps every single one, Style thinks he doesn’t need to. It’s just something for Style to know for now.

When Style gets to work, he completely forgets about the little comments that people have made about Fadel not showing him enough love. Honestly, it’s such a funny notion — because Style truly doesn’t think he could feel anymore loved than he does. So he forgets about it.

Until about two weeks later.

They are out at the rock bar, Style still joining Fadel any time he can because he knows how much his boyfriend loves it. Also, he knows that if he doesn’t come then Fadel will stick to the bar like a log. Style doesn’t like that one bit because Fadel should be having fun when he’s here so no matter how busy, Style will always make the time if it’s possible.

They are minding their own business, standing in the middle of the crowd as they watch one of Fadel’s favorite bands play. They aren’t touching, not really feeling the need to because they are more absorbed in the show and Style truly doesn’t mind it. He is a firm believer that they do not have to be shoving their tongues down each other's throats at any given moment to prove their relationship. Style also knows that if he were to reach out to his boyfriend, Fadel would allow him, giving him anything he wants.

Maybe Style should have been holding his hand or something because then he wouldn’t be face to face with Real. It’s been over five years since he graduated and even longer since he’s seen Real, so he’s a bit taken back at first.

“Style? I knew it was you,” Real says and his voice irritates the ever living hell out of Style. “You look good.”

Style can feel Fadel turn to look at them but he doesn’t interfere. The only time he does is if he feels that Style is uncomfortable or is being pushed too far. For the most part, Fadel is fully confident in his boyfriend's ability to handle himself and he trusts that Style will reach for him if he needs him.

“Thanks.” Style’s voice is flat, completely uninterested in the compliment. “Do you need something?”

Real has the gall to laugh. “Wow, just like you were at university huh?”

Style gives a tight lipped smile. “Yup.”

God, he’s so over it already. Objectively he understands that he’s attractive, like, he knows this but he is also with Fadel. Quite literally next to his boyfriend and people still have the audacity to approach him. Maybe he needs to propose already so he will at least have a ring to flash when he’s getting attention he doesn’t want. The thought of Fadel having a matching one makes his heart almost skip in his chest because yes. The whole world needs to know that his grump is taken and that his husband is batshit insane.

“— so do you want to dance?”

Style blinks, completely missing whatever Real was saying because Fadel wearing a wedding ring was so much better to think about.

“No, I’m with my boyfriend.” Style hopes to god that’s the end of it, but life is hardly ever that easy.

“What boyfriend? You are alone?” Real asks.

“My boyfriend is right next to me?” He gestures over to Fadel who is now pressing against Style’s side. “So, no thanks to the dancing.”

Real looks between the two of them, a mixture of annoyance and disbelief on his face which, what the hell. It’s not surprising that Style and Fadel are together because in Style’s very humble opinion they are both hot as hell.

“This is not your boyfriend, stop bullshitting,” Real says it like it’s the funniest joke he’s ever heard.

Style is not violent, typically but sometimes he thinks he would take immense pleasure in beating a man’s ass. Men are just so fucking annoying, holy shit. Except his Fadel… and Kant and Bison, most of the time and Style says that with all the love in his heart.

“What does that even mean?” Style is irritated as hell now. “He is my boyfriend.”

Style glances over to Fadel and Style can immediately tell he’s annoyed, which is not uncommon. Fadel is typically annoyed anytime anyone other than his very select few are in his space. Unless it’s an older person, woman or children, who Fadel has a very sweet soft spot for.

“If he is your boyfriend he sure as hell doesn’t act like it.”

And that, truly pisses Style off because why is everyone so intent on commenting on a relationship they have no involvement in. Does Style need to get ‘property of Fadel’ tattooed on his forehead for people to get the fucking hint because he’s absolutely not above that. Maybe Kant will give him a best friend discount.

“Well I am his boyfriend,” Fadel says, voice even. Somehow he still sounds terrifying. Style is very much into a pissed off Fadel. “Is there anything else?”

Fadel wraps an arm around Style’s waist, raising his shirt a bit so his hand is flat against Style’s stomach. Style wants to leave — like now. If only Real would get the damn hint.

“How come you were standing almost five feet away from him then?” Real asks and Jesus Christ does he sound desperate.

“Why the fuck do you care how close I stand to my boyfriend?” Fadel retorts and now he’s not hiding his irritation. “You sound desperate.”

Real moves then, standing directly in front of Fadel and Style almost laughs because boy is he biting a lot more off than he can chew. Fadel has ‘don’t fuck with me’ written all over him and usually that deters these kinds of confrontations. Usually people take one look at Fadel and bow out, which is the smart thing to do but Real isn’t smart.

“I mean if you aren’t even going to appreciate what you have, why don’t you let someone else appreciate it? Style is just a good fuck, I don’t want more than that.”

Fadel is always in control of himself, almost to an excruciating extent. It’s something he has ingrained into every part of his being, having to in order to survive the life he was subjected to. The thing is though, that control always slips away in situations where Style is involved. When it comes to Style, his instinct is to protect first and think later, so usually Style is the one that has to make sure he doesn’t react in a way he will regret later.

Like right now.

If there is one thing that Fadel can’t stand, it’s when people treat Style like he’s nothing more than just an object. When Style had opened up to him about how people have treated him before — as if he was a sex toy to be used and then left, well Fadel had a lot of feelings about it. First, he had apologized profusely for what he did to Style the first time they slept together. He wouldn’t stop, Style had to physically cover his mouth for him to stop apologizing. Then he asked for names, his voice tinged with something dark. Style had talked him down though, promising it was all in the past and Style can’t prove it but he’s almost positive Fadel still dealt with it. Kant and him had disappeared for a couple hours about a week after Style had told him about his past and when they returned both of them had bruised knuckles but matching smiles.

Neither Bison or Style questioned them too hard, happy they were at least bonding, even if it was probably in an illegal way. When Style had tended to Fadel’s wounds later that night, Fadel had promised that he would never allow anyone to make Style feel like that again. Not if he had anything to say about it.

So Style knows that there is a massive list of things that Fadel will let slide, what Real just said is not one of those things. Style is able to intercept Fadel before his fist can connect with Real’s nose. Fadel stops immediately when he feels Style’s hand wrap around his wrist. His boyfriend glances at him, his face not revealing much but his eyes do soften just a fraction. Fadel must sense he’s not going to get the violence he wants, so he instead uses his words to get his meaning across.

“If you ever fucking speak about him like that again, I will break every finger you have one by one,” Fadel practically spits at the man. Style is in front of him so he isn’t able to move the way he wants but Fadel is just a fraction taller than him so he’s able to look directly at Real.

“If you don’t believe me just fucking try it.”

When Fadel is actually pissed, he wears it visibly. The expression he bears is carefully blank, his shoulders are tense and his fists clench at his side. Real, thankfully must sense that Fadel is truly not someone he should be going up against. Style is grateful when he turns and walks away, not saying anything else as he gets lost in the crowd of people.

Style feels Fadel’s hands wrap around his waist and pull him back until their bodies are flush against each other and immediately buries his face in his neck. Style can feel his ragged breaths as he exhales and inhales, trying to calm himself down. Fadel has a tendency to do this when he feels out of control and Style lets him, knowing that it’s the best way for his boyfriend to push past his anger.

Eventually Fadel lets up but only slightly, he keeps his arms wrapped around Style’s waist, fingers digging into his skin slightly. It’s possessive in nature, the way that he will probably have small crescents left on his abdomen but Style doesn’t mind in the slightest. In fact, he loves when Fadel claims what is his. Style may not be an object to possess but when it comes to Fadel, he doesn’t mind being owned, as long as it’s by him.

“Sorry,” Fadel eventually says, his voice back to the gentle one that Style adores. “He pissed me off.”

Style snorts, turning around in Fadel’s embrace. When they are face to face, Fadel has an expression that Style recognizes rather well. There are few moments when Fadel feels the need to show everyone who Style is with and this is definitely one of those moments. Not that Style minds, at all.

Style decides to have his fun. “Mm, didn’t like how he looked at me?”

Fadel watches as Style leans into his space, wrapping his arms around his neck. Fadel’s grip tightens ever so slightly on Style’s waist.

“Don’t like how anyone looks at you,” Fadel finally says. “Especially when you look like this.”

“How do I look?” Style teases, pressing his face in Fadel’s neck, placing kisses along it. “Are you saying I look good?”

Fadel exhales through his nose. “Style, you know you look good. You always look good.”

Style preens at the praise. “Mm, I like when you hold me like this. Shows everyone I’m yours.”

“Yeah?” Fadel says, his words come out tight. “Thought you weren’t a huge fan of PDA either.”

“Sometimes,” Style says, he’s still pressing kisses along Fadel’s throat. “Other times I think it’s warranted. Like right now. I wonder if he’s watching us right now, do you think he’s pissed? Are you pleased that only you have me?”

“Style,” Fadel pulls him back so they are looking at each other. His eyes are dark as they look over his entire body. “You ready to go?”

Style nods because fuck yeah he’s ready to go. Fadel takes that as all the answer he needs before he’s practically dragging Style out of the bar and into his jeep. The drive is quick, Fadel probably driving a lot faster than is legally allowed but Style will shoulder some of that blame. He didn’t make it easy for Fadel, needing to touch him the entire way home — sucking bruises into his neck and his hands gripping his thigh. Fadel was affected by it, if his hardening dick was any indication but Style loved that. He loved how much Fadel was turned on by him.

When they arrive at the thankfully empty garage, Fadel doesn’t even give him a chance to get out of the jeep before he’s on him. Fadel pulls him out of the seat and presses him back against the door of the jeep, kissing him roughly. Style kisses back in ferver, needing to be as close to Fadel as possible. Fadel taps his hip and Style gets the hint, allowing Fadel to pick him up.

It’s something that Style absolutely loves, how small Fadel can make him feel even though they are practically the same height. Fadel is able to manhandle him still though, like Style is small. Fadel carries him to Style’s bedroom, depositing him on the bed but not allowing Style to miss his touch for long because he’s on him again. Fadel sucks bruises into his collarbone, too eager to even take off Style's shirt. Style has a feeling this shirt collar will be ruined but he can’t find it in himself to care. When Fadel is in this particular mood, he doesn’t hold back his desire to mark Style up.

When Fadel is pleased with the amount of hickeys littering his neck, he pulls back enough to take his shirt off and pulls Style up as well to remove his. Style decides it’s his turn to take some of the control so he grabs Fadel’s arm, turning them so he’s straddling Fadel. Fadel’s hands find purchase on his hips, holding him in place. Style bites down along Fadel’s chest and his abdomen.

“Can I show you that I’m yours?” Style asks sweetly, looking up at Fadel through his lashes as he kisses his tattoo. “I know when you get like this, you like when I take care of you.”

Which is true, Fadel in the beginning had trouble giving up control, especially in the building. Style could tell it’s not because he didn’t want to give up control but more because he didn’t know how to. It’s not something he had ever allowed himself and anyone he was ever with, expected him to be the one in charge. Which, Fadel doesn’t always mind being in charge — he prefers it most of the time, enjoying making Style a babbling fucked out mess but there are moments where he wants to be taken care of. Moments where he doesn’t want something heated or rough but instead he wants something soft — full of love.

Typically when he’s feeling jealous or out of control, is when he wants to be handled with care. It always starts the same, with Fadel exerting control of the situation but Style knows his boyfriend better than he knows himself. So Style will always make the decision to take control when it’s time and every single time Fadel agrees.

Like right now. Fadel gives him a small nod, his eyes cloudy as he looks down at Style. It’s cute how easily he can read Fadel.

Style smiles at him and decides he won’t make him suffer for too long tonight because he really wants to cuddle the hell out of his boyfriend. Style unzips Fadel’s pants, pulling both them and his underwear down with practiced ease. As soon as the cold air hits Fadel’s erection, he bucks up and Style wants to coo at him. He loves when he’s desperate.

“Don’t worry, I’ll warm you up,” Style says as he kitten licks at Fadel’s head.

Fadel throws his head back, hands twisting in the sheets. Style knows he wants this badly so he stops teasing him and swallows him down in one fluid motion. With how often they do this, Style has no trouble taking all of Fadel in. Sucking him off is one of his favorite activities because of how Fadel loses it. Every ounce of control slips out of his body when Style’s mouth is working his cock. Style grabs one of the hands fisted in the sheets and places it in his hair, Fadel gets the hint and tugs at his hair. Style moans, pleased and let’s Fadel guide his head up and down, going at whatever pace he wants.

Fadel sets a slow pace and Style doesn’t mind, hollowing his cheeks out as his hair is pulled. Style knows that Fadel is getting close when his movements become sloppy and he starts shallowly thrusting into Style’s throat. Style removes Fadel’s hands from his hair and relaxes his throat, he grips Fadel’s hips and urges him to fuck his throat as he pleases. Fadel always starts off hesitant but as Style is able to take it, he begins to lose himself in it. Style doesn’t mind, loving the way that he feels so of Fadel’s cock, especially as it hits the back of his throat.

“Fuck Style,” Fadel groans and it means he is close. That’s when he starts getting vocal. “Take it so good.”

Style moans around his cock, pleased by the praise.

“God,” Fadel’s words are strained as his thrusts become reckless. “Mine. Your mouth is mine. You are mine.”

Style pulls off, looking up at Fadel. “Cum on my face. Mark me. Show everyone I’m yours.”

Fadel’s hips buck up against the air. “Style — fuck, okay baby.”

Fadel wraps a hand around his already leaking dick and starts pumping himself. He sits up so Style is able to lean in close to his dick and wait for Fadel to cum. It doesn’t take long for Fadel to groan, throwing his head back and he’s cumming on Style’s face. Style hums, pleased but he doesn’t get to enjoy it much because Fadel is dragging him up to him, kissing him messily. He can taste himself on Style’s lips but he doesn’t seem to mind at all as he flips them over.

Fadel pulls down Style’s pants, wrapping a large hand around his dick and he starts pumping. He swipes at the head of Style’s cock, using his precum to make his hand slick and it causes a delicious friction as he moves it up and down. Style is already pathetically close, he always is anytime he sucks Fadel off because he enjoys it so much.

“Oh Fadel,” Style wraps his arms around Fadel, trying to ground himself. “Feels good.”

Fadel leans down, biting at his neck. “You gonna cum baby?”

His voice sounds wrecked and holy shit is it hot. Style bucks into Fadel’s hand and nods. “Yeah I— oh, Fadel please.”

“I got you baby,” Fadel says soft and he starts moving his hand faster, twisting it in a new direction and Style can’t handle it.

He cums with Fadel’s name on his lips, feeling thoroughly spent as Fadel plops down next to him. Fadel grabs his hand, interlocking their fingers. That’s the other thing that Fadel does after they have sex, it’s not every time but more often than not he seeks affection. Whether it be something as simple as holding hands or having Fadel pressed against his chest, he just wants — or needs to touch Style.

Style pulls Fadel against him, not minding how messy they are, especially when Fadel comes easily into his embrace. Style presses a kiss to Fadel’s hair as he runs his hands along his body.

“You okay baby?” Style asks, a force of habit when Fadel is extra clingy after sex. It never hurts to be sure.

He can feel Fadel nod against his chest. “Yeah… just, can I ask you something?”

Style pulls back, not liking how small Fadel sounds right now. “Of course you can. You can talk to me about anything, you know that.”

Fadel looks up at him, giving him a tiny smile. “I know, baby. I guess it’s more of me being in my own head. Do you…” Fadel’s eyes search his, trying to figure out what to say. “Do you mind that I’m not like… openly affectionate all the time?”

“My Fadel, you are so cute,” Style preens, just so unbearably in love with his boyfriend. “I don’t need you to be wrapped around me twenty four seven for me to know that you love me.”

Fadel doesn’t look like he quite believes him. “I just… have heard the comments people have made to you, about how I act and I don’t want you to think that it’s because I don’t want to be. I do. I just am not very comfortable in public because of everything. I guess.”

Style leans down, kissing Fadel’s furrowing eyebrows. “Baby, you are practically attached to my hip anytime we are out. Also behind closed doors you are pretty much a glorified koala and honestly I enjoy that a lot.”

“You do?” Fadel asks.

Style nods, smiling at his pretty boy. “Yeah. I like that only I get to see the clingy side of you. The one who loves affection and who loves being a small spoon. The one who texts me every single thought that comes to his mind. The one who leaves me cute little notes to find everywhere. The one who believes I can handle myself but is always there to back me up when I need him to. My Fadel. I get to see every part of you while the world only gets a small fraction and that is more than enough for me.”

Fadel gives him a genuine smile then, one that he doesn’t express too often, unless it’s just the two of them. It’s the kind of smile that has his eyes turning into small crescent moons, so it’s like they are smiling as well. Style can’t help but kiss him when he sees it because that’s also something just for him.

“I love you,” Style promises. “I wouldn’t change a single thing about you.”

Fadel nods. “I love you too baby.”

“Good. Now let go of me so I can clean us up because we are disgusting.”

Fadel let’s go of him with a dramatic sigh. “Hurry up I miss youuuuu,” He is definitely whining on purpose but Style finds it more cute than anything else.

“You can literally still see me dummy,” Style teases as he opens the bathroom door to grab two rags and wets them.

“Not enough. Need to touch you, sorry I don’t make the rules.” Fadel genuinely sounds like a petulant child. It’s funny, just knowing that this is his ex hitman who's literally done prison time. “Hurry Style. Want a kiss.”

Style rolls his eyes but obeys. “Should I start calling you princess?”

Fadel snorts, allowing Style to clean him up. “You will always be the princess in this relationship I think.”

“Damn right,” Style plays along. “Now clean my face you filthy animal.”

Fadel grabs the rag, looking amused. “You literally told me to cum on your face and I’m the animal?”

Style shrugs, not bothered. “You love it.”

Fadel boops his nose once he’s done cleaning his face. “I love you. Your dramatics are part of that I guess.”

“Hey!” Style says affronted. “I’m not dramatic. Take it back.”

Style doesn’t even give Fadel the chance to before he’s pouncing on him. Style straddles him, caging him in between his legs and then he starts tickling him. Fadel is notoriously ticklish which is great for Style but horrible for Fadel.

“Style—“ Fadel is gasping in between his laughs. “Stop! You asshole—“

“Take it back,” Style says not letting up.

Fadel hooks his arms around his waist and flips them. Fadel grabs Style’s hands, pinning them above his head. Style tries in vain to fight against his grip.

“You aren’t dramatic at all baby,” Fadel says sarcastically. “You are very level headed.”

Style huffs but he can’t even pretend to be annoyed. “Whatever. Now stop pinning me down before someone gets interested again.”

Fadel laughs. “Stop referring to your dick in third person.”

“Nope!” Style obnoxiously pops the P.

Fadel does as he’s asked and releases Style, he collapses against Style’s chest, nuzzling him slightly. Style wraps his arms around him, pulling him as close as he can.

It doesn’t take Fadel long to sleep, once again leaving Style up alone. Style watches him sleep for a while, enamored by him. If he’s being honest, he’s grateful that no one gets to see the side of Fadel that clings to him or wants him around. This is something that Style gets to keep solely for himself.

The world can think that Fadel is unaffectionate and cold if that’s what they want to do but Style knows the actual him.

The one that is soft and unbelievably kind, especially when he loves. The one that always needs to touch him because Style makes him feel safe. The one that is constantly thinking of Style anytime something happens in his life.

The Fadel that is able to feel safe.
