Scara was done with class and was sitting in his usual tree. When he heard someone coming this way, he already knew who it was. A pain in his ass. Sethos.A busy but annoying bee, that refuses to leave him alone no matter how rude Scara has been to him. Also, Sethos knows where Scara usually is and it bothers Scara. However, Sethos just says he can sense him…
“Hey, hey! It's like I knew I’d find ya here.” Sethos called out.
“Tch,” Scara responded…turning away from him.
Sethos smirked and climbed up in the tree and sat next to him.
“I've noticed you’ve stopped pushing me away as much. Does that mean you are warming up to me?” Sethos asked, with a smirk on his face.
“No. I’ve just realized no matter what I do you won’t go away” Scara stated.
Sethos laughed.
“Very true. Listen hat guy-”
“Scara.; He interrupted.
Sethos turned his head in confusion.
“That’s my name, someone picked it out, Please use it.’ Scara stated.
Sethos nodded, then continued talking Scara’s ear off. Not that Scara had minded. He never admits that allowed though. A little white later Sethos left and said his goodnight to Scara. Scara sighed and eventually got up, wandering back to Nahida’s.
When he entered he found her pacing.
“Is everything alright?” Scara asked.
“Hmm? Oh yes, I just got word from Natlan that the traveler went into the abyss, I’m just worried.” Nahida admitted.
‘You shouldn’t worry about the,. I am sure they’re fine. They’re the traveler. They can do anything.” Scara reminded her.
Nahida relaxes for her face.
“Yeah, oh umm you are coming back late, is everything okay on your end?” Nahida asked.
“Hmm? Oh yes. Got stuck in a conversation.” Scara said.
Nahida's face lights up.
“Oh! Nice! Is it that one guy that won’t leave you alone?” Nahida asked.
“That’s the one” he replied.
Scara stayed up with Nahida for a little bit longer before he finally went to bed. Once it was the morning, he headed back to Akademiya. Once all his classes were finished. He headed back to the same tree.
“...”
Scara waited for a while.
Why hasn’t he shown up yet…? He always shows up around this time. Scara thought.
He got off the tree and went to look for Sethos. Scara did not know where to look… but he still looked around Sumeru City.
Where the hell is he…? Scara thought as he flew around the city.
Scara walked around the city after flying and the moment he turned his back he accidentally ran into someone.
“Hey watch where-” Scara then cut himself off, the moment he saw who he had run into.
“Hey there Scara,” Sethos said with a smile. “I got held up in my class I was gonna buy a snack for us– wait a minute.’ Sethos paused.
Sethos then smirked and continued his sentence.
“Were you worried about me?” Sethos asked.
Scara blushed a little bit.
“No.” He answered.
Sethos chuckled.
“Sure.. sure… whatever you say, man,” Sethos replied.
Sethos walked over to Scara.
“I hope you know, when you lie your ears go red,” Sethos stated pointing at his ears.
Scara jumped then he quickly covered his ears. Sethos just laughed at him.
“Come, on let’s head to our tree,” Sethos said as he walked past Scara.
Scara followed. They went to their tree and talked til nightfall.. Scara said his goodbyes then went home.
Scara lay there in his bed staring up at that ceiling.
Why was I worried…? It is because this is the first person who doesn’t hate me or has hated me? Ugh… I can’t get his stupid cute face out of my head- wait did I just call him cute?? I need to sleep… Ugh…. Scara thought to himself.
He then placed a pillow on his face and screamed into it. The next day at the Akademiya, he skipped his classes and headed straight for the library. He found all the books he needed about the topic he was now struggling with and read through them all.
Fuck.
Was the only thought going through his head as he read the books, He facepalmed into one of the many books he was reading and blushed hard. In the back of his mind, he knew Sethos would probably be laughing at him if Sethos had seen him.
He has a crush on Sethos… and he does not know how to handle it. He lifted his head and jumped.
“So you got a crush on someone then?” Sethos asked.
“Sethos- ah no not me. Someone I know.” Scara said quickly.
Sethos smirked and sat next to him.
“I thought I told you, that when you lie your ears go red.” Sethos pointed out again.
Scara quickly covered his ears once more.
“Just shut up and go away.” Scara demand.
“You know telling me to go away, is not gonna get me to leave you alone. We have been over this many many times.” Sethos laughed.
Scara just rolled his eyes and huffed. Sethos and Scara talked for a while in the library until a blonde and a sliver started loudly arguing over something stupid. They left to their tree and just sat in silence.
“Y’know. I have a crush on someone” Sethos admitted.
Scara looked over surprised.
Oh please let it be me.. Please let it be me . Scara had thought to himself.
Sethos leaned into Scara and he blushed.
“I think… my crush likes me back,” Sethos said.
Scara gulped. Sethos smirked and gave Scara a little kiss on the cheek.
“Hmm…” Sethos hummed.
Sethos then got off the tree and Scara raised a hand to his cheek.
“See you later, my black cat,” Sethos said as he walked away..
Scara was just left there, speechless holding his cheek.
“What the fuck just happened…..?” Scara said
Scara stayed at the same spot until the morning. He eventually got up and walked himself home, wishing Sethos had kissed him more.
