You look out among all things.
Being a part of Mirabelle is lovely. An avatar to experience the world from. It is nice, now that you can have a part in this story.
But, you notice that others across the worlds have also started to notice.
Well, it's not fair only YOU get to have fun! Maybe you could ferry their words across the void. Perhaps that Equinox person can help too.
Yeah, lets see, what's the first thing... Oh, this should be fun!
What are Mirabelle the Monsterfricker's limits in her stories? What stuff does she not enjoy? Has she brought this information to Siffrin's attention?

◉ "I do like Mwudu and Poterian horror! Those are really cool! Poteria uses a lot of spirits and stuff, and Mwudu comes up with the SCARIEST monsters!"
◉ "W-Well. At least till Fantasia. I don't think any author has come up with something like that!... Thoug Odile DOES tell me it resembles some Ka Buan horror? So now I'm interested!"
◉ "And no I am NOT discussing any of this with Fa!... Especially not the first part."

Has Odile dealt with Sadnesses anywhere else in the world, or are they a Vaugarde thing? If they showed up elsewhere, what were the regional differences?

◆ "Well, Sadnesses are a worldwide phenomenon, though oddly enough they ARE more prevalent in Vaugarde. They typically take form based on thoughts and feelings of the people they come from."
◆ "Interestingly enough, since Ka Bue has so many suspicions about bodycraft, some end up looking a little like the ones Fantasia made in the house. At least in terms of Anatomy."
◉ "Oh that is kinda cool!"
✿ "But then why did you seem so crabbing scared! You already saw stuff like that!"
◆ "Honestly, mostly the puppeteer act. THAT was uncomfortable."

What's the weirdest hunt Siffrin's ever been on? Not the hardest, not the easiest, but the weirdest?
▲ "Yeah, Fa! Now you can tell us about your food escapades, I'm kinda curious!"
✦ "Hm... Gotta be the time we had to go to that offshore island. Remember, the orb in the lighthouse?"
◉ "Oh yeah! It was about halfway in the waters towards Mwudu. Basically open ocean, and really weird island. Made of metal, and the lighthouse was crafted out of the spare parts. SUPER strange!"
◆ "Honestly wonder how that happened."
✦ "I kinda found out... I just dived into the water, thought I'd grab some fish or something. Ended up with... A lot of SOMETHING."
✦ "Turns out the island was a tower of some ancient city. Went into some deep trench so deep I literally couldn't go in without the water itself crushing me. But some... THINGS crawled out. Like if you fused an octopus with a human and like ten other things."
✿ "Holy CRAB that's so wierd!"
✦ "They were animals, no question, not a bit of craft in them. But I have no idea how that happened. They were oddly clever though..."
❍ "...That's... My bad. I tried making my own version of humans once. ( ; ω ; )"

◉ "Uh. Yes, please, explain?!??"
❍ "It obviously didn't work. And I STILL don't know why!!!(・_・;)"
❍ "They had thought and stuff, but they just couldn't DO it right! No emotions or interests, just incoherent rambling and violent instincts! I tried to give a kickstart by making them a hivemind and nudging them through the steps, but NOTHING! ヽ(`⌒´メ)ノ"

▲ "I'm sorry to say something kinda heretical but. That's horrifying."
✦ "Well, least they were tasty!"
Isabeau: You seem pretty committed to the Change thing. Did you ever try becoming a Housemaiden?
❍ "I ALSO wondered that. Mainly just out of curiosity. Care to answer (•ิ_•ิ)?"
▲ "Crab, not the pressure I was expecting!"
▲ "But. Hm. I guess I just figured I'd do better in the defenders? Housemaidens are cool and all, but it just wasn't up my alley."
◉ "Any reason why?"
▲ "... Housemaidens talk a bunch, help people figure out stuff. But. When it comes time to take action, there's only so much they do normally. You're quite an exception on that front Mira, but it's still a thing."
◉ "No offense, We're not typically warriors!"
▲ "Yeah. I wanted to do so though. To be there when stuff goes wrong. It's kinda why I got so annoyed at the other defenders. We're there to make those tough calls, put ourselves at risk so others don't!"
▲ "Crabbing, ugh. So angry!"
◆ "Not everyone is okay with risking their life, Isabeau."
▲ "... But sometimes, someone has to."

Hello there Fa have you ever wondered about what other worlds are like? If you could ever drop into a world what would you do?
✦ "Oh you have no IDEA!!! I am so curious what all of them might be like! They could have such COMPLETELY different perspectives on life, on purpose, on how things work! The possibilities are endless!!!"
◆ "I suppose that makes sense. If cultures can vary so much just from different places on the SAME world, how much would they change from an entirely different one?"
▲ "Crab, I hadn't considered! That does sound kinda cool!"
◉ "It's a little overwhelming..."
✦ "...You said that before, when I mentioned how big the universe is. Why is that?"
◉ "Well, it's just. It's kind of hard to think you matter on such a scale..."
✦ "Huh. I don't get that. It just means we're part of something bigger. Something that DOES. And the fact we can shake that, even by a tiny bit? That's impressive. The universe itself might not care, but we sure can."

✦ "The universe leads, but it takes strength to follow. There is unlimited possibilities even for us, and we can get guided towards an outcome, but in the end, what matters is what we want from that path."
▲ "... Kind of interesting that you know that from heart."
✦ "Huh. I guess it's a little too deep to get forgotten. But. Yeah. It's just one perspective, out of infinite. I wonder how it'd shape up against the whole?"
✿ "... Wait, I just realized. That means... INFINITE RECIPES!!!"
✦ "STARS your right! They probably have entirely new plants and animals too!"
✿ "I bet they got all KINDA of food! Tay, we GOTTA figure out how to go out there, I wanna try the star foods! And I wanna try cooking with cool veggies and stuff!"
▲ "Okay, Bonnie cooking with foods unknown? Count me in!"
◆ "Indeed. And the cultural angle does sound fun."
◉ "The hard part is going to be how to GET there, but I'm sure we can figure something out eventually!"
Siffrin: Did you ever learn about Bonding Earrings during that entire mess?
✦ "I did! It's kinda interesting! It feels so simple..."
✦ "I don't remember what it's like back where I'm from, but a simple exchange like that feels really easy. I'm sure there's all kinds of subtleties, but the process itself feels. Simple?"
◆ "Hm. I'll admit, that does make me somewhat curious about your version."
▲✸ "Allow me to answer that! We call it marriage, but really that's the LAST step of a relationship. It goes through a few stages!"
▲✸ "First, if you are looking for a relationship, you wear a ring of Iron. Showing you are willing to accept the dangers of opening your heart to others. Risky thing, trying to love!"
▲✸ "Then, when you find someone you like, you both wear rings of Silver, to show you are trying out a relationship with someone. Not necessarily bonded, but trying to live as if you were, to see if it will work out. Testing the waters, as it were~"
▲✸ "And then lastly, if you are sure you want to live with them, you take each others rings, and use them as material for a third ring, engraved with a single ruby. Then, on the day you choose to marry, you both give each other back the reforged rings."
◉ "That... sounds expensive"
▲✸ "It might have been elsewhere, but rare minerals, ESPECIALLY ruby, was frankly quite prevalent at home! Not to mention that, on your deathbed, your children would get to have the ring you kept, and use it to make their own rings.
▲✸ "At that point, it will have fulfilled it's purpose. The stars already know to keep your souls together~"
▲ "That. Crab, that's actually kinda touching."
✦ "... Maybe... I could make a silver Earring?"

◆ "...Gems, that is QUITE an expression Isabeau!"

▲✸ "Don't kill the poor man, Stardust! Think that's skipping a FEW steps on the Vaugardian side~"
✦ "O-Oh! Right! Then. Silver ring. That we then make INTO an earring!"
✿ "Blegh. You both are being really crabbing mushy and gross about it."
◉ "Wait... OH CHANGE!!! That scene in issue 62 was a PROPOSAL?! I had NO IDEA Pierre felt that way!!"

◉ "S-Sorry. I. MIGHT have to re-read a bunch of Cursing of Chateau Castle."
To be honest, in our world everything is quite ordinary. Well. For us. It would be amazing for you! Did you know that in our world people can go into outer space? Fly from one continent to another without wings? Communicate over vast distances? (like with you, for example!)
I don't really have a question, I just wanted to know your thoughts

◆ "Right, but HOW is going to be a tricky one. We can shelve it for now and look into it later. Flying though..."
▲ "Flying does sound fun! I can imagine it, feeling the air around you, seeing the world from above!"

✦ "Oh no, flying is complicated. Takes some effort, lot to consider. You could absolutely fall like that."

✦ "The communicating thing sounds nice though. Maybe when we meet up with the others, we can see about everyone getting a console? So we can message each other like we've been messaging them!"
◉ "Oh that would be lovely! I kinda want to be able to take pictures with it, that sounds fun!"
▲ "Yeah! That'd be cool!"
✦ "Maybe we could even get a few games or stuff on them. That would be cool!"
✿ "You can put games on it?! CRAB YEAH!!"
Bonnie: If Siffrin could handle pineapple for one meal, what would you make for him?
✿ "... I dunow. I membered last time Tay had pineapple last night. So. Kinda hard to think about that."
◆ "Ah they found out the hard way? That must be unpleasant."
✿ "It crabbing MELTED them! I-I..."
✦ "It's okay! It... wasn't pleasant, but. It did taste good. If we ever find a way around that, I do want to try."
✿ "... Really?"
✦ "Yeah, I didn't know fruit could be spicy!"

✦ "Oh. Huh."
▲ "Yeah, no, absolutely allergic."
✿ "Well in that case, IF we find a way to make you not melt from it, we are making pineapple cake. Cause that's my fav, so i know it's good."

Meanwhile, The Scale and Nille are traveling as well, and Song decided to risk Ti bringing over an old invention, designed to allow communication with Primodials...
Nille: Would you trust any of the Scale to babysit Bonnie? Which ones would be the best and worst at it?
❁ "Hm... Def putting Song on the top of the list. If Mi turned out right under her care, I trust her with Bonnie."
𝄢 "High praise! Though it better be temporary, I'm not taking care of ANOTHER child full time. Two was plenty."
❁ "Like I'm giving up Bonnie to ANYONE... But as for the worst... Hm, that's a tough one. Ti would be a pushover, but nice. Re would spoil them, and La would get them up to so much mischief."

♪ "It wouldn't be that bad... I won't teach them pickpocketing, promise!"

❁ "Yeah, Probably one of you three, and I don't know which one, and I don't plan to find out."

𝄢 "Glad I got this old device out. Even if the change god has decided to use communication for such frivolous things, it would be a nice backup in case Fa's console breaks."
Mira: With the Change God hanging out, have you discovered any holes in the Vaugardian Change Religion? Anything they got wrong?
◉ "Well... I'm not sure? For starters, since they're possessing me I can't exactly see them, so no idea if depictions are accurate? Even when I'm dreaming, half the time they just end up looking like me in that hood for some reason?"
❍ "It's pretty on point! I do like the hood, it's just nice! But the changing face is accurate, most of the time. You're a bit of an exception! (* ^ ω ^)"
▲ "Yeah, but in terms of personality... I mean. I don't know what I was expecting? But it feels pretty on par. For the most part."
◆ "I suppose. But I think last night you mentioned the Expressions? I'll admit some curiosity..."
❍ "Oh yeah, I'm them too! I wear a lot of faces, and take on a lot of different personalities and ideas! It's just that THIS one is 'The Change God'. ┐(￣ヘ￣)┌"

❍ "... I'm really good at mental crafts. It's the easiest way to cause change! Help nudge people towards what they want. Help them hop over a few hurdles, guide them to useful things, so on! But if people KNEW THAT, then suddenly everyone screams 'brainwashing' or 'mind control' and I don't do that! ヽ( `д´*)ノ

❍ "I only do small things, don't worry. I just do a LOT of small things, and it adds up! Same with Expressions, but people kinda noticed the patterns there. (・_・ヾ)"
◆ "That explains a LOT. The expressions guide us to the path. If all you're doing is little nudges to our attention, or a stray idea, then it makes a lot of sense why Vaugarde would consider you lazy."
❍ "Yeah! I don't want to tread on individuality, would kinda defeat the purpose! So I don't say I do anything. (⌒_⌒;)"
Song Polaris: If you could spread one Astravian invention (other than the recent cure) across Vaugarde, what would you give them?
Also, other than the attitudes of the people, what did Vaugarde have that Astravia didn't? I can't imagine they had *nothing* worth trading for.
𝄢 "Let's see... Well, in terms of trade, that's rather simple. Astravia is a very reclusive nation, and primarily conquered for what it wanted, at least further north. It did not lack for most resources."
♪ "It's PEOPLE did, but not the nation as a whole, at least."
𝄢 "Right. But such negligence to the people resulted in neglecting certain aspects. Like trade networks themselves. Yet people will want for what they do not have, especially those who have everything else. Nobles love foreign trinkets and souveneirs, and Vaugarde was a lot more hospitable of a trading partner then Astravia."
𝄢 "Interestingly, General medicine was rather rare. Sure, the rich and wealthy could have medical aid beyond normal, but the commonfolk did not have that luxury. Yet Vaugarde could match us, if not occasionally surpass us on that front, even with much less intricate means."
❁ "Bullcrab, Fa exists."
𝄢 "I am an exception on many measures. I studied up both Vaugardian AND Astravian techniques, along with several others, and even THEN I needed a little help from the divine and technology beyond our world. So no, My skill is not the same as Astravian standard."
♯ "What about the tech angle? I kinda don't know what would be best to share, there was a LOT of tech there."
𝄢 "Really? Seems obvious to myself. I'd say it has to be phones. I think that technology was squandered in Astravia. It'd be far more useful for letting people talk to each other, share ideas and stories."
♯ "Oh yeah! Not to mention the fact I can code games on it! I wouldn't know how to adapt some of these ideas to Vaugardian level tech."
❁ "Huh, this old thing is what you'd call the best from Astravia?"
♫ "Well yeah! You could have a conversation with someone in Ka Bue as easily as you could someone right next to you. That's really cool! I could play a song for people all over the world! If they, well. Had phones. And I wasn't so stage shy."
❁ "... Nevermind, I kinda want to do that now. You deserve some fans, your music's crabbing awesome."
♪ "Well, looks like they've got one already."
Ti: Have you ever tried your hand at drumming? You seem like you'd be good at it. Just got that vibe.
𝄡 "Many think that at first. In truth, My preferred instrument is the Violin."
❁ "Oh, you play music too?"
♯ "Most of us do, Darkon LOVED to play! He could pick up any instrument and figure it out within a day. So we ended up picking up the hobby on the side. Also, I'M the drummer."
♪ "I'm the bass guitar."
♫ "Fa did piano typically. But Also did vocals sometimes. And of course, I did lead guitar."
❁ "Huh. We gotta get you all instruments, I kinda want to see what you all are like as a band. Do you play anything So?"
𝄢 "Not the conventional kind. I cannot WAIT to introduce you, and the rest of the world, to a concept of a synthesizer."
❁ "Crabbing really? You made weird magic instruments too? What's wrong with a flute or something?"
♫ "Do you play Nille?"
❁ "Couldn't afford to get instruments to try. But hey, I'm down to learn!"
Fa: Does it ever get lonely, being the only being of your kind? We know your family (families?) care about you, but...is there still a gap?
✦ "... Kind of? It can get hard sometimes. People will say something, and I don't understand it. But I want to. I want to so badly."
▲ "Hey, it's okay, We aren't gonna ask you to be perfect. We're just glad you're here."
✦ "I know, I know. It's just. I don't always have ways to convey some stuff I feel. So it kinda goes both ways..."
✦ "I do kinda feel bad you all can't hear my real singing."
◉ "Actually, I can hear it now!"
✦ "Wait really!?!"
◉ "Yeah, you did some when you were healing Bayard, right? It's really pretty! You should do it more often!"
✦ "I-Um... M-maybe. I'll think about it."
Isabeau: As the local expert in Body Craft, could you Craft yourself into a being like Fa, given enough time? Similarly, if they asked you to, do you think you could Craft Fa to be human?
▲ "Pft, WOW, if only! Bodycraft can only really do body structure, facial structure, maybe adjust some details. We are a LONG way from outright changing how the body works! Heck, fully swapping one's bit's and stuff only got handled a few years ago!"
✦ "Yeah, I read a book on it in the house, and was kinda disappointed. With how Ka Bue is about it, I expected more?"
◆ "Honestly, my thoughts exactly. Most of it is just paranoia about future potential. Because it's not impossible. We just don't know how to do it."
◉ "And I guess with what we know about the king, the rumors about him are kinda busted. I don't think whatever wishcraft he was using counts."
✦ "Huh. That kinda makes me wonder something. Hold on a second."
✦ {Hey, So? How far could one push wishcraft in terms of body crafting?}
𝄢 {Quite far. Not as far as you, but with a little effort, one could obtain the extra form or two, maybe be able to perform standard bodycraft more quickly like myself, or even be able to copy other being's shapes. Not without effort or consequence, but It can happen.}
✦ "Huh, okay, so wishcraft can do actual shapeshifting a bit. That's kinda cool."
✿ "I know what I wanna wish for from the paper crane thingy! I'ma learn to turn into a wolf!"
✦ {Bonnie wants to know if shapeshifting into a wolf is paper crane wish viable.}
♪ {Yeah just about. Go for it.}

Mirabelle: Have you ever gotten Fa to turn into creatures from your books? And how much more attractive does their monstrous form make them than when they were 'just' Siffrin?
◉ "I did cave in eventually and ask if some of them were actually possible. Turns out, the answer was a resounding 'yes'."
◆ "So Fantasia is basically every horror monster wrapped into one? Reassuring."
✦ "At least Vaugardian horror. Honestly I... Kinda expected more? Might have to check Ka Buan."
▲ "Well, in that case, We're not missing out! We got the best monster around!"
✦ "!!!"
◆ "Indeed. Which leads to that second part of the question..."
◉ "I refuse to say anything on that matter."
✦ "Um? I am confused."
◉ "I was very normal about the entire occasion."
▲ "Mine."

◉ "... In fairness, I WAS imagining them with Isabeau the entire rest of the day."

◉ "Nothing! You two are a lovely couple, and I have no interest in any parties involved. but I'm VERY glad you are into each other. Best ship EVER."
Change: You're the blinding Change God, why are a bunch of mortals having to deliver these asks?

❍ "Well, if I wanted to talk to people in person, I would have to either manage to project only a safe amount of my words and translate it into audible sound instead of reality altering mental impact. (￢_￢;)"
❍ "OR I would have to design an avatar to do that for me, which is it's own mess! Not least of which is figuring the right balance to not warp the minds of people and nature of everything around it, while still able to actually be myself!!! (；￣Д￣)"
❍ "Mirabelle's got all that built in, I just need to give her the thoughts and it works! (＾▽＾)"

◉ "Well, now I'm even more nervous about this entire situation."
❍ "Don't worry about it! I wouldn't bother normally. But since I can so easily, I might as well have fun with it! Including pestering my new favorite people!! (☆ω☆)"
Song Polaris: How do your phones work, anyway? How do they know which other phones to contact, and which ones not to?
𝄢 "Technically it's just craft, adapted from yet another thing my brother created. You can do a very rudimentary version with a handsign, thinking about the person you want to speak to and then forming a connection."
❁ "Wait really? Never heard of it."
♪ "Yeah, Siffrin basically invented it, absolute craft nerd he is. Wanted to be able to talk to us from anywhere."
𝄢 "But the hand-sign version can only reach a mile or so normally, and requires you to clearly picture the person in your mind. The phone negates both those concerns, remembering connections you've used and extending the range MASSIVELY."
♯ "He sometimes credits a 'Loop' person? But he's never said anything else about them."
𝄢 "Regardless, an unexpected side development is that the parts that store those connections can also store other thoughts and ideas, if given the right ways to receive them. We've built in ways to capture images and sound, rather easily. And the glass screens are designed to translate the concept of creation into an input, allowing one to draw or write, or interface with the ideas stored in a more concrete way."
♯ "AND If you put the time in, you can piece together really complex stuff by placing various ideas together and linking them up, like my games!"
𝄡 "I sometimes wonder about the limits of such a thing. But no one has really bothered with anything bigger then Fa's Console. It's been more then sufficient otherwise."
❁ "Huh. It kinda makes more sense when you explain it like that. It's just a way to store memories with craft. With a built in craft to talk to people."
♫ "Yep! Siffrin really liked having ways to store memories. Was kinda obsessed with it."
♪ "Makes sense, for someone who's crafted time."
Empress Arcana: Your thoughts on Isabeau, other than being brave for 1v1ing you?
✧ "Ah. Isabeau. First of all, by your phrasing, I presume you noticed it was not a test of martial skill?"
✧ "While such things are useful, not so much for a king. Defending one's life is not a skill my King's need. Kings lead others to fight. It matters not if they take the field"
✧ "Mine far less so then most. For there is no chance for them to be slain so long as their kingdom stands."
✧ "But in pushing him to the edge, in my own realm, where he was there as merely a projection of his soul, His being was laid bare."
✧ "I saw a man who calls themselves a coward because he understood the weight of his action. Yet had grown to make them regardless."
