A day after school a female worker drone was going back to her dorm; her name was Daisy, she had blue eyes and blue hair tied up in a ponytail and she looked very tired; she was being accompained by her best friend Doll. Once they arrived to Daisy's dorm she slumped on her chair without energy.
-Finally class ended, I wouldn't have lasted another second in there- Daisy said
-You were shutting down the whole day, why are you so low on charge?- Doll asked
-I stayed awake all nigth trying to complete a personal project-
-Again?-
-Hey! Don't give me that, this is an important project!-
-What is it this time?-
-I've been working for days on a cloaking device to hide from the Murder drones, if I manage to make it work I'll finally be able to explore outside of the colony-
-That would be actually usefull, we still need to find a way to kill them-
-For that I need information on them, to get that I need to observe them and to achieve that without dying I need this device to work and then I'll be able to go undetected- she took the device she had on the table and turned it on, she then dissappeared, Doll was suprised
-Where did you go?-
-It works! It fricking works!- Daisy screamed but then a short circuit happened and she became visible again -MIERDA!!!
-It seems it only works for a short period of time, any idea on how to fix that?-
-No...I'll have to- in that moment a warning of low battery flashed on Daisy's face
-You should recharge-
-I know, staying working all nigth wasn't a good idea but I need to do all the homework they gave us today- Daisy looked at the notebooks on her backpack and Doll sighed
-I'll do it for you-
-Really?! Thanks Dolly! You're the best!- she hugged Doll with enthusiasm and Doll gently pulled her away
-Just go to recharge now, I'll take care of it-
-Alrigth, I'll make sure to pay you back later!-
Daisy laid on her bed and started to recharge. Doll texted Lizzy saying their plans were cancelled because she had something important to do and then started to work on Daisy's homework. This was a normal ocurrence, Daisy would always stay awake all nigth working on her mechanic projects and Doll would take care of the schoolwork wether it was lending notes or helping with homeworks so she was used to this. Even though Daisy wasn't the most responsible robot academically you could always count with her help for anything and Doll knew that so she didn't mind helping back. Once the homework was finished she took her phone out and started playing tetris but in that moment Daisy woke up.
-Eureka!-
-You almost made me drop my phone-
-Ah, sorry-
-What idea did you have?-
-Well, the device I'm making was based of a previous device that was being made in our colony, if I find the blueprints for th maybe I can find my way to make mine work-
-Are you planing to go back to our colony...and alone?-
-Listen, I know it sounds like a bad idea but everything will be fine. It's pretty close and the murder drones are probably not there anymore-
-It's still dangerous, you're not going...at least not without me-
-What?! Are you sure you want to go back there?-
-If your project works it will be very usefull to find information about the murder drones...maybe even a cure to my problem, besides there migth be some leftovers on the way-
-I can't deny any of that-
-Then it's settled, when are we going?-
