It had been 2 years since Chuuya died,
Using corruption he believed in using it to save his friends and family, but instead… he died.
Dazai sighs as he walks through the streets of Yokohama, taking his usual path to the port mafia building, why? He hated that place, the torture, pain he endured there… yet his heart yearned to see that place, even if it wasn’t the one HE knew, no, he’d slipped into a different universe to see Chuuya again, even if he wasn’t the same as HIS Chuuya… he wanted to see that stupid slug, his slug.
“Dazai? No… you’re not…”
A voice chimed in, snapping Dazai out of his thoughts, he looked at… Chuuya, he smiled and puts his hands in his pockets, he could read the clear uncertainty on his face, he tilts his head to the side slightly before he spoke.
“Do I look like your boyfriend?”
“No my… late husband…”
Husband?
Now that was a surprise,
Chibi… got married to another him? Well… was married to another him, he sighs and walks over, putting a hand on his shoulder, causing him to look up.
“You miss him, don’t you?”
“Obviously, it doesn’t help you look almost like him.”
“I know”
“But I can’t be your Dazai, and you can’t be my Chuuya.”
That… was the harsh reality.
