Chilly cubes clinking against clear glass.
Stained-brown liquid licking lonely lips.
“Bring the money, bring the kid.”
Overstretched t-shirts throttling a thin torso.
Sunny-side down shoe soles souring on the summer sidewalk.
“He's just a child, Hyeonwoo!”
Drowned doves diving through dredged drains.
Bright eyes bulge at bubbling beer bottles.
“You don't find boys like this very often, Joonsuh. He will make us quite a large sum.”
Clink, Clank, Clonk.
Clink, Clank, Clonk.
Clink.

Clonk.
Large Hands pin Small Hands to canvas skies. Dark eyes engrave dimpled cheeks and heart-carved lips into an endless system, an immeasurable entity of forgotten names and remembered faces, of rainbow bruises and broken screams.
An infinite list of mute victims.
“You're kind of pretty,” the man says, demons swimming through speckled irises. “Pretty enough for Alphas.”
Porcelain skin falls Cold.

Cold.
Clink.

Park Jimin first appears on a Saturday.
He is small amongst bent boardwalks and disfigured debris, but swelled lips and curved eyes paint a grander scene.
Unbearable.
Incomprehensible.
Dangerous.
Jimin smiles when they first cross under crying clouds, his gaze glistening as if he too has been weeping.
“Your name?”
Crescent moons curl above chubby cheeks.
“Just like me, aren’t you?”

“You don't have to pretend around me though.”
