One day, when Jordan was in 9th grade, Matt decided to visit Jordan's house and to help him to get ready for his History test. Jordan shook his hand and said:
— Hi Matt! Thanks for agreeing to help me with History.
— Hi Jordan!
That moment, Matt felt something in his belly, but he couldn't explain it. When he looked at Jordan, he understood... he felt some love towards Jordan. He paid attention to Jordan's small body and hands, and he just stood in his place and didn't move.
— All good? — asked Jordan, looking at Matt's embarrassed face.
— Yep.
Matt felt easier that moment. He took his jacket off and he went with Jordan to his room.
— So... Jordan, tell me what we have to do.
— History essay about Big Depression.
— Do you at least know the basics of it?
— Yeah... there were too many things produced... and millionaires became bums in a couple of seconds... scary...
— Do you know how to write essays?
— Not this good... help me with structure...
Jordan opened his copybook and told that the topic is in the PDF document with Historical personalities' quotes. Matt began to tell how to write history essay.
— I hope you know the main structures... but.... look at the quotes!
— Yep...
— When you write the quote, always write whose quote it is, so, it shouldn't look as if it was yours.
— Example?
— As J. K. Galbraith said about great crash, «....
— Good.
There were many quotes. Writing them was boring for both Matt and Jordan, but they had finally finished it.
— Matt, let's eat cookies my mum baked!
— Good!
When they reached kitchen, Jordan's mom saw Matt.
— Oh! I didn't see you here Mattie... were you helping my son with his homework?
— Yep.
— Anyway... here are your cookies!
Matt and Jordan started munching cookies. When Matt looked at Jordan, he felt his crush on him again. He decided to wrap his arm around Jordan's shoulder, but he felt uncomfortable that moment. Jordan's mom noticed it.
— All okay Mattie?
— Yeah... but.. but..
He was thinking if he should make his confession.
Soon Matt and Jordan finished eating cookies. Matt said:
— Let's go to your room again...
— Okay, responded Jordan.
They went to Jordan's room, and Matt felt that he had to confess right then.
— Listen... Jordie...
Jordan was embarrassed by the way Matt adressed him, because only his mom had done it earlier, but he decided that he wouldn't protest.
— Can I have a sleepover with you? I wanna make a confession...
— Okay...
Jordan was flustered.
— Come here... sit with me Jordie...
Jordan did as Matt said.
— Closer...
— Okay «Mattie». I am listening.
— Promise you won't be mad?
— I promise... I will control myself.
Matt shed a tear.
— I... I have a crush on you...
— R-really?
Jordan hugged Matt to comfort him.
— When we first met... you seemed a cute guy for me... you have ideal small body... kind eyes and you are just this damn adorable!
Matt said it sobbing.
— Okay buddy... even if I am a straight guy... I will do everything to make you the happiest one!
Matt perked up.
— Wow! How?
— I will give you the biggest amount of cuddles... and gift you flowers for your birthday... even if I get a gf we will still be clingy friends for each other!
Matt hugs Jordan back.
— Haha... you are the best friend in the world... — responded Matt, ruffling Jordan's fur on his head.
Suddenly Jordan's mom came in.
— I heard someone sobbing here, no?
— Oh, it was me! — exclaimed Matt, — but now we are even the better friends with Jordie...
— I agree with Mattie, answered Jordan, taking a seat on Matt's lap.
— Okay boys... be careful with your clingy activities! said Jordan's mom in teasing tone.
— Heyy, don't fantasize! — cried flustered Jordan.
— Can I make a photo of you two cuddling? — offered Jordan's mom.
— Haha yeahh! — exclaimed Matt.
— But... but... don't show it to anybody! I have a tough reputation to maintain!... however... Do it! I will show it to someone maybe... — tried to protest Jordie.
Jordan's mom takes her camera and makes a photo of them.
— I will print it and put it in a frame!
— Oh yeah!

Next day, when Jordan, Matt and Lucy come together from school, Jordan sees a photo of them cuddling, which was put in a frame.
— Awww! exclaimed Jordan, — Mooom!
— Yeah?
— Come here!
Mom comes downstairs. Jordan and Matt catch her in their arms. Lucy looks attentively at the picture.
— Mommy you are the best!
— Haha! I always fulfill promises!
— Didn't knew you were such a softie, said Lucy, — anyway, it's one of your best traits!
