Summary:
(Explicit, Michael/Lucifer, AU). The year is 1948 in Los Angeles, California, where Chief Detective Louis Morningstar tries to catch his biggest fish yet, a Serial Killer by the name of "The Barbie Killer,' AKA Michael Hadad. Unfortunately for the detective, he ends up desiring the killer more than he desires to stay true to his pursuit of justice.

Anyway! This is an original story inspired heavily by old pulp fiction novels that revolve around mystery murders. I wanted to write something about how easily it is to 'throw' away your life for something - or somebody - who makes you feel on top of the world. In this case, your morals! Other than that, this is pretty straightforward. Read the disclaimer in the next chapter for more context. Just remember this is a huge WIP that I'm retroactively editing while adding an extended introduction as I go. I'll try to make that clear in the titles so you can slowly piece it all together for yourself.
