A young man sat near the window, watching with sad eyes as the rain poured heavily.
Sighing softly, he walked from the window panel with pouty lips and a frown on his forehead. He walked past the kitchen toward his bedroom with a dejected look.
"Jungkook"
The said male stopped momentarily and turned towards the source of the voice, only to face his boyfriend, Taehyung.
Taehyung looked at his boyfriend Jungkook, who had been frowning continuously. They had planned to go out for a romantic dinner and a movie, but the weather had other plans. It was raining heavily outside, and they had no choice but to stay indoors.
"Hey, cheer up, babe," Taehyung said, wrapping his arms around Jungkook. "It's not the end of the world. We can still have fun at home."
Jungkook sighed and leaned his head on Taehyung's shoulder. "I know, I know. It's just that I was looking forward to our date tonight. We haven't had one in a while, and I wanted to spend some quality time with you." Taehyung kissed his forehead and smiled. "We can still do that, you know. We
can order some pizza, watch a movie on Netflix, and cuddle on the couch... It'll be cosy and romantic."
Jungkook nodded, but he didn't look convinced. He still seemed sad and disheartened.
Taehyung thought for a moment, then he had an idea. He got up from the couch and grabbed Jungkook's hand.
"Come on, let's go," he said.
"Go where?" Jungkook asked, confused.
"Outside," Taehyung said.
"Outside? Are you crazy? It's pouring out there!"
"Exactly. That's why it'll be fun." Taehyung dragged Jungkook to the door and opened it. The rain was coming down hard, creating a loud sound on the roof and the pavement.
"Taehyung, what are you doing?" Jungkook protested. "We'll get soaked!"
"So what? It's just water. Come on, live a little!" Taehyung stepped outside and pulled Jungkook with him. Jungkook tried to resist, but Taehyung was stronger and more determined.
"Taehyung, stop it! This is ridiculous!" Jungkook shouted over the noise of the rain.
"No, this is awesome!" Taehyung shouted back. He spun Jungkook around and wrapped his arms around the younger's slender waist.
"What are you doing?" Jungkook asked.
"Dancing," Taehyung replied.
"Dancing? In the rain?"
"Yes, dancing in the rain. Don't you think it's romantic?"
"No, I think it's stupid!" Jungkook tried to push Taehyung away, but Taehyung held him tight.
"Come on, Jungkook. Don't be so gloomy. Just relax and enjoy the moment." Taehyung started to sway his hips and move his feet in sync with the rhythm of the raindrops. He looked into Jungkook's doe eyes and smiled.
"You're beautiful, you know that?" he said.
Jungkook blushed and looked away. "You're insufferable, you know that?" he said.
Taehyung laughed and kissed him softly.
"You love me anyway, right?"
Jungkook sighed and nodded with a pretended exasperated look on his face. "Yeah, I do."
He wrapped his arms around Taehyung's neck and kissed him back, with the same amount of love and passion Taehyung poured in the kiss.
They danced in the rain for a while, forgetting about everything else.
They felt the water on their skin, the wind in their hair, the warmth of their bodies. They felt alive and happy. They danced in the rain until they were completely drenched and shivering.
Then they ran back inside and dried themselves off with towels. They changed into dry clothes and cuddled on the couch with a blanket. They ordered pizza, watched a movie on Netflix, and cuddled some more. It was cozy and romantic. Jungkook smiled and snuggled closer to Taehyung.
"Thank you for making me happy," he said.
Taehyung kissed his hair and hugged him tighter. "Thank you for dancing with me," he said.
They fell asleep in each other's arms, dreaming of dancing in the rain again
