~Here Comes The Sun~

“HELL YEAH! Fucking losers! Eat my shit!” Taehyung yelled, jumping up and down, a controller in one hand and Jimin in a playful headlock in the other.
The older alpha growled, pushing the youngest Alpha away and pouncing on his back.
As they fell over backwards, grappling with each other on the floor, four other alphas looked at them fondly.
That is-
“YAH! KIM TAEHYUNG, PARK JIMIN, STAY CLEAR OF THE TV! How many times have I told you today?!” Jin, the eldest of the six, was up on his feet and immediately pulling the 16 year old Alpha pups apart.
The two in question looked guilty as they stood at least a foot away from one another, their eyes cast low, slight smirks on their faces.
“Sorry hyung. Promise not to do it again.” Taehyung mumbled.
As Jin picked up the pieces of popcorn that had been strewn about the carpeted floor, there was a scoff.
“Yeah, today.”
Jimin growled, readying himself to pounce at Hoseok, but was manhandled into another headlock.
“I’d suggest not following up with that particular idea.” Yoongi laughed quietly as he redirected the younger boy after thoroughly noogying him into submission.
Jimin’s chest rumbled in annoyance as he flopped onto the beat up couch opposite of the television. Jin snorted at the childishness, elbowing the quietest in the room to help him tidy their makeshift den. Namjoon nodded, his eyes rolling as he pushed a smug Taehyung to join the others on the couch.
But in the midst of their peace they were unaware that a little boy was about to skyrocket into their lives and change everything for the better.

Three year old Jungkook was bored.
And as he sat on the well-manicured front lawn of his family's mansion, a toy car in one hand a bag of lollipops in another, he decided that the best way to remedy his boredom was to knock on the door of the abandoned captain's house across the street.
The house had been a menacing presence in the otherwise well-manicured, high society neighborhood. With most of its windows boarded up, the brown siding falling apart, and the shingles of the roof shattered and bare, it had been the bane of the city’s “Polished Property Society”, their very purpose, to maintain perfect streets so that they may reflect the high society members that take up the residences.
But no matter what they did to try and get a demolition permit, it was always denied.
No one could stand to walk by the place, let alone look at it.
No one would live there, which greatly impacted the neighborhood's otherwise immaculate image. And sparked fears of others possibly making their home a drug den, or what Kristine Jeweler, the widow of a prominent businessman that lived a few houses down warned others of the neighborhood turning into, “a pimps playground”.
The rumours were really all ridiculous, but none of that mattered anyways to a three year old.
Toddling up from his bottom, Jungkook made his way across the street, not a care in the world or any kind of idea of the basic rules of pedestrian-hood.
As he climbed up the old rickety steps, Jungkook’s little fist clung onto the package of lollipops.
After knocking on the door and not receiving an answer as fast as his short attention span would have liked, he toddled over to peek at the windows only to be startled by the screen door squealing open.
“Who is it hyung?!” A voice echoed from inside the house. Jungkook perked up at the sound of footsteps stomping around the old wooden floors.
“Uh…I don’t know. No one I gu-”
“Hi ahjussi! My name is Jeon Jungkook!”
“I’m–,” Jungkook struggled with his fingers, having to use his other hand to push down his thumb to present only three fingers, “three years old and I live across the street. You wanna play with me? I got lollipops, we can share ‘em?”
Namjoon stuttered at the doorway as the adorable young boy with big doe eyes pushed his way inside without another word.
Namjoon startled, immediately shutting the door and shuffling after the tiny intruder, his chest tightening with a feeling he had never felt before.
Namjoon gasped as he watched the little boy throw his bag of lollipops on one of the couch cushions and tried to swing one of his little legs up so he could join the Alpha’s sitting in front of him.
The room grew abnormally silent as the six young alphas stared at their mate.
“What the fu-” Yoongi looked incredulously at the intruder, but was interrupted swiftly by a swat to the back of his head.
“Watch your mouth Yoongi!” We have… Jin’s voice trails off, “company.”
For the first time in his life, the Alpha was speechless.
And then there was a shout of laughter, followed by a hysterical guffaw.
“Oh my goddess!” Hoseok nearly squealed, “You are the most adorable thing that has ever graced this planet! What’s your name butterfly? And where in the world did you come from?” Hoseok laid gentle hands under the little boy’s armpits so that he could place him on the couch next to a stunned Taehyung and Jimin, the latter immediately laughing along and ruffling the little boy's hair.
Jungkook ignored the noise as he struggled to open the bag of lollipops, his little hands slipping off the plastic and a pout forming on his lip.
“Hyungie open please?” Jungkook looked up at Taehyung, his doe eyes shining with something that made the Alpha’s stomach swoop. He shook his head, ignoring the strange feeling in his chest as he smiled widely and cooed, “Of course, sweet boy! What a polite boy you are, hyungs did you hear him? He’s so polite.”
“My name’s Jungkook, but I want my friends to call me Kookie and we’re friends so you can call me Kookie.” Jungkook's sweet voice rang in the silence before the room echoed with more coos, the young men all metaphorically brought to their knees by the overwhelming warmth that enveloped their hearts as they met their mate for the very first time.
“Kookie, love, what are you doing here baby? Where are your parents?” Jin’s face contorted with concern, wondering if his mate was being properly taken care of.
Jungkook didn’t hear his question, as he had already turned his attention to Taehyung again, “wrapper please hyungie?” Jungkook tilted his head to the side, staring up the elder, his eyes squinting as he smiled.
Taehyung fawned, practically falling into Jimin who snorted.
Pushing the younger off of him, Jimin leaned in to press his forehead affectionately to Jungkook’s much smaller. “Oh my goddess. Hyungs he’s perfect, he’s so perfect and wonderful and adorable. Please can we keep him. I think I love him.” Jungkook giggled, and it sounded like heaven. Taehyung practically squealed like a little girl seeing a puppy for the first time. And in some case, Namjoon figured he kind of was.
“Aigoo! Who taught you such good manners puppy?” Jimin pinched at the boy’s flushed cheeks,
Namjoon cleared his throat, looking fondly, albeit concernedly at the pups on the couch and then back at the three eldest alphas looking expectantly at him.
“He said that he lives in the place across the street, he didn’t mention his parents or anything. Now that I think of it I’ve never seen anyone but some guy go in and out.”
The four alphas look at each other, now concerned.
“Jungkookie, where are your parent’s butterfly?” Hoseok crouched, his voice soft as he looked at his adorable mate, whose mouth was currently full with a lollipop.
Jungkook removed the candy from his mouth, kicking his feet as he explained, “Pa and Mama fighted. And Mama fell and is on vacation. Pa sayed she's gonna be back soon but Pa sayed he’s finding me a new mommy but I don’t want a new mommy I want my old mommy but Pa gotted mad when I sayed that so I don't sayed it anymore and Pa is busy right now, he’s sleeping with his candy and I didn’t go inside.”
Jimin and Taehyung quickly sober up from their highs of excitement, looking back and forth at the others in confusion and concern.
“It’s almost my nap time. Can I sleep here and then we can play?” Jungkook tilts his head up at Namjoon, suddenly holding his lollipop in the air.
“Wanna try hyungie? It’s really good.”
Yoongi stands from his place at the torn floral chair as Namjoon bends down and thanks his tiny mate for the offer but says that he’s really quite alright and that the boy should enjoy it for himself.
Yoongi motions for Namjoon, Jin and Hoseok to follow him to the kitchen. Hoseok nods and stands from his position on the floor.
“Of course you can stay butterfly, why don’t you, Taehyung and Jimin go tell some stories and they’ll put you to bed hm?”
“Who’s Tae-Tae and Minni?” Hoseok gives the younger alphas a look.
Taehyung jumps up first, “I’m Tae-Tae hyung Kookie. Call me whatever you want since we’re friends.”
Jimin mumbles a breath, “I’m callin’ you hashtag whipped.”
Taehyung’s eye twitches, but covers his annoyance with a bright smile and an eager, “Minnie mouse and I are going to tell you a bedtime story.”
Jimin raises his lip in a silent snarl but is quickly distracted by the sweet giggle of his mate.
“Finish that lollipop before you lay down Angel, and then let me know what kind of story you want to hear.” Jimin smiles genuinely as he looks down at the doe-eyed boy.
Jungkook, oblivious of any tension, looks up at the two alphas with stars in his eyes and grins widely, a dimple forming as he enthusiastically wiggles in his seat.
“Okay hyungies, can you tell a story about dragons?!”
