Hello and salutations!
I am new to writing fanfics, so please bear with me. There is no beta. This story is cross posted on Wattpad under the same name.
Feel free to leave comments and constructive criticism, don’t like, don’t read.
There is not really a posting schedule, just whenever I get around to writing and finish a chapter.
You may notice some details similar to other fanfics- it will only be head cannons that I like or feel like they fit.
There will mostly be wholesomeness with plot. I may decide to add angst later, depending on how I feel.
For my sanity I’m just going to pretend that tomorrow's tea never happened. I’m choosing to retcon it, I’m going to pretend he was born earlier.
This will take place in a sort of mixed universe between the series and movie. It will mainly follow the series starting from after Tournament of Elements , what I am pulling from the movie is that the ninja team is unknown. As in, no one knows their civilian identities.
I am also pretending that they found another way to send Chen and his army off. Garmadad is still here, cause Lloyd is already traumatized enough, he needs some love. Misako is going to be a somewhat better parent. What she did early in Lloyd’s life is still there, but she is trying to make up for it.
There will be background Jaya, Pixane, and Lava. Cause truthfully- wtf kind of fruit basket is going on between those two. Also, Garmadon and Misako have made up and are still married. Wu has taken a vow to not have a partner.
Ignore my (somewhat) messy rendition of what the monastery looks like. I’m not going to pretend that I didn’t come up with the layout myself. I did pull some inspiration from Samseaa’s ‘The Butterfly Effect’. Go read it, please, TBE is one of my favorite works ever.
There will be mentions of mental health issues. Totally, not projecting a bit. There will be other triggers, when they come up. I will put the warning at the very start of the chapter.
