"Come on, just a few more steps," Gojo said, his arm tightly wrapped around Megumi's waist. With gentle words he coaxed his student down the hallway and opened the door to his dorm room.
The teen was slumped against Gojo's body, barely conscious. Whatever the sorcerer did to him, it was definitly enough to knock him out for the next few hours. Gojo was relieved when they handed Megumi back over to him without bandages and bruises, even though the boy was still a little pale and had a few scratches and white scars on his body. Megumi basically fell into Gojo's arms when he offered to take him back to his dorm but the older man was not nearly as surprised when he noticed how drained the boy really was.
Closing the door behind him, Gojo gently led Megumi over to his bed and pushed the boy to lay down. The room was tidy as usual, besides some used bandages in the bin and a half-full water bottle on the nightstand.
"There we go. Wasn't that hard now, was it?" Gojo said with a light tone in his voice. Megumi didn't answer, he just layed down on the matress and seemed ready to sleep through the rest of his recovery.
Gojo decided to nudge his student into a more comfortable position until he was curled up on his side lightly, with his hands resting in front of his face. He smiled fondly at Megumi and picked up his neatly folded blanket from the end of the bed. He opened it and spread the blanket over the boy, tucking him under the sheets.
"There we go," he whispered and rubbed the others shoulder. Megumi hummed in return, slowly blinking his eyes open. Gojo leaned over him, checking his face. Megumi's eyes were glassy and he looked around slowly, taking in his surroundings.
"There you are," Gojo smiled and sat down on the edge of Megumi's bed. "How do you feel? Any pain?" he asked softly. Megumi blinked a few times, lethargic, before he turned his head lightly to Gojo. "Cloudy," he answered, the tiredness evident in his voice. "No pain."
Gojo smiled fondly. "Good." There was a long pause where he just continued stroking Megumi's shoulder, who slowly relaxed and started falling into a deep sleep. Gojo watched with a soft smile as Megumi drifted off, his eyes closing slowly. He rested a hand on the boy's back for a moment, feeling how his body lightly moved up and down with each breath.
After a while, the older man got up and closed the white curtains, blocking out most of the light and leaving the room in semi-darkness. He made sure that it was not too dark so that Megumi could find everything he needed when he woke up. The white haired man looked around once, checking over everything to make sure his student was comfortable before he headed to leave the room.
"Goodnight, Megumi," Gojo whispered and slowly left the room, closing the door behind him quietly.
