After the lovely dinner at the Yu family house, Dayeon noticed 004's fascination with food and offered to teach him how to cook. Naturally, he wanted to refuse, but with a glare from 002 and a stiff warning from 001, he eventually agreed. As a precaution, 008 is to accompany them, much to his excitement.
So here they were, two veteran mercenaries, one of whom was the size of a truck, walking with a rather small girl who was very obviously not related to them. They opted to go to the grocery store so Dayeon could show and properly explain which ingredients were used to make certain dishes. While they were walking through the store, they got many weird looks from the passersby. Some of which looked like they were about to say something, but whenever they got close, one glare from 004 sent them away.
After they finished shopping and were walking back to the Yu residence, they were stopped by a man in a weird outfit. Both men were immediately on guard. 008 moves in front of the group,
"Who are you?"
Before the guard can begin to answer the man, Dayeon suddenly steps in front of him, much to 008's alarm, but she ignores it
"Hello, officer, is something wrong?" The policeman takes a step closer to the group, much to the larger men's dismay.
"Yes, miss, would you mind stepping to the side for a moment?" Stated the police man
"And why the hell would she do tha-" 004 was quickly muffled by 008's hand covering his mouth.
Dayeon, looking concerned, asked, " Is that necessary?. With a quick nod from the policeman, she moves to the side a bit but stays within the range of the Numbers.
To the side, the officer asked, "Are you alright, miss?
"Of course, is there a reason I would not be?"
The officer then explained that some passersby noticed some suspicious men following her around the store.
Dayeon simply smiles and walks over to the still squabbling men, grabs them both by the arm, and tells the officer with a small smile,
"They are my brothers! There’s no need to worry about them, they’re harmless," As the two very dangerous-looking men stare him down.
The officer looked like he was about to refute, but then was interrupted by the voice of 002
"What is taking you so long to go shopping?"
The officer turned to look at the tall man, but he was ignored,
"What did you do?" asked 002.
"Fucking nothing that bastard just stopped us for no goddamn reason," 004 spoke aggressively.
002 turns to the officer, looking for some kind of explanation, telling him that they just looked suspicious was not the best idea, but Dayeon managed to calm them all down, and the officer quickly left after that.
They then went home together with their loot, and Dayeon got to work teaching 004 and 008 to cook under the supervision of 001
It was a good day for the two Numbers.
