Chapter Text
Well, he never thought he'd find himself here, in Wutai. Though he could say that about just about everywhere he had been these last few months.
“What do you want man?” Barret asked as he bolstered his way through the door into the Happy Turtle.
“I thought we agreed to wait until 7th heaven reopens.” Cloud stated, his face expressionless as he made his way over to a table in the middle of the otherwise barely populated bar.
“Yeah well, exceptions can be made.”
Cloud couldn't help but wonder just how far these exceptions would be extended as he took a seat next to Barret.
“What do you guys want? I’ll get it.” Tifa leaned over the table as Aerith and Yuffie debated where to sit.
“Wutai Whiskey of course!” Yuffie called out expectantly, not bothering to mask the excitement in her voice.
“The offer doesn’t apply to you.” Barret interjected before studying the menu before them.
“What? Why not? I’ve been drinking since I was seven I'll have you know.” Yuffie spouted, crossing her arms across her chest as though it were a fact to be proud of.
“Hey! Come and sit with us!” Barret waved a slightly agitated hand at Vincent who had taken a spot by himself near the bar.
Vincent made an audible groan before trailing over towards the group.
“Well, umm… Let's see…” Aerith began, her eyes also studying the options meticulously when suddenly the bathroom door flung open.
“Well look who it is.” Barret made no effort to disguise the resentment in his voice as he glared at the two figures in suits before them.
“You're in our seat.” Reno iterated slowly, tapping his EMR over his shoulder as he sauntered towards the fugitives.
“It's our seat now.” Barret spat back, thrusting his gun arm onto the table, as though doing so would emphasize his point.
Reno ambled towards the group of fugitives, a nearly empty bottle of whiskey dangling from his fingers as Rude brought up the rear.
The Turk wasted no time taking the seat across from Cloud.
An act of defiance?
Without a doubt.
Cloud opened his mouth to speak when the front door of the pub suddenly flung open and in its stead stood Elena. Her eyes darted to the bar, then to her fellow Turks before finally befalling the wanted fugitives.
“Hey! look! There! We can grab them right now!” She blurted out, pointing her index finger at the party as though it wasn’t already obvious as to whom she was referring.
“Ugh,” Reno waved his hand dismissively before drawing the whiskey bottle to his lips.
“Hey! No fraternizing with the enemy!” Elena strutted over, a perturbed expression plastered over her face.
“We’re off the clock sister, I don't get paid overtime.” Reno waved her away once more before returning his attention to Cloud.
“We came here for a vacation, your apprehension is unwarranted.” Rude began, his eyes masked behind dark sunglasses, yet Cloud could still feel holes boring straight through him.
“It's one thing to not be our enemy for the night, but it's a whole 'nother ball game if you expect us to be your friends.” Barret interjected slowly, as though not able to make his message clear enough.
“It's okay.” Cloud sighed, holding his hand out in front of Barret. The last thing he felt like right now was a fight. Why was Barret so good at picking them?
“Then how about a drink?” Reno offered, the somewhat generous gesture catching both Tifa and Aerith off guard as they simultaneously glanced at each other, as though each hoping the other would offer an answer.
“I’m not sure this is a good idea man.” Barret stated lowly, leaning closer to Cloud, as though wanting only the blonde to hear his words of wisdom.
“Bar tender! Give us 3 bottles of whiskey!” Reno called out, not bothering to wait for an answer.
“Yus!” Yuffie shouted excitedly.
“Not you!” Barret waved a finger at her.
A few seconds later they were delivered, poured and served.
A silence fell between the two enemies, as though each were a puzzle the other were trying to figure out.
“Well… Let's spice things up then, shall we?” Reno severed the awkward silence, returning his attention to Cloud.
Cloud raised an eyebrow.
“Just how do you intend on doing that?”
“Let's play a little game.” The redhead suggested, tapping his index finger against his cheek as though thinking up an idea.
He already had the idea, that much was obvious to Cloud as Rude failed to stifle a groan from escaping his lips.
“What kind of game?” Cloud was suspicious and made no bones about it.
“Hmm… Let's play… Spin the bottle.” Reno smirked, as though not seriously expecting the group to agree.
“Spin the bottle? What do we look like? Teenagers?” Barret screwed up his face in what could only be described as utter disgust.
“No, but you sure act like one.” Elena interjected.
“Maybe you should start acting your age, oh wait, you do, you twelve year old.” Yuffie retorted.
“Hey! look who's talking.” Elena bit back.
“I’m sixteen I’ll have you know.” Yuffie folded her arms across her chest in defiance.
“I can’t be bothered arguing with such a child. That’s it, I’m going to the bathroom.” Elena turned on her heel before disappearing from view.
“You're not seriously considering this are you man?” Barret shook his head as he turned to face Cloud once more.
“Fine by us.” Cloud accepted, disregarding Barret’s well founded concern, his gaze never once wavering from the redhead’s.
“I knew you’d see it my way.”
Reno tossed back the last swig of Wutai whiskey before turning the bottle on its side and setting it before the fugitives, as though offering them a challenge he doubted they would embrace to its fullest.
“Who wants to go first?” Reno raised an eyebrow, goading the group before him.
Barret turned to Cloud, as though hoping to see something other than derangement plastered across his face.
He can’t be serious.
“I'll go!” Yuffie interjected, grasping the bottle before anyone had any opportunity to object. She spun it without hesitation, watching as its trajectory began to slow until it finally came to a stop.
“Ha! would you look at that.” Yuffie stood there, proud as punch with her hands on her hips.
Vincent looked even more paler than normal as the eyes of everyone turned to face him.
“Well pucker up!” Yuffie chuckled as she jumped up, shedding any remaining decorum as an excessive amount of enthusiasm consumed her actions.
Vincent rued the day he ever stepped foot in the bar. He rose to his feet as though preempting a fight.
“How am I supposed to reach you when you stand up? Your so tall.” Yuffie whined before shunting him back down into his seat. She climbed onto his lap without hesitation before pressing her lips to his. Vincent made no effort to hide the abject horror plastered across his face.
He could never have anticipated this series of events when he walked into the Happy Turtle this evening.
“Hey! You could at least pretend to enjoy it.” Yuffie screwed up her face as she climbed off his lap before crossing her arms over her chest.
Rude reached forth, claiming his turn with a flick of his wrist. Though, if he were honest with himself, after watching that last performance, he wasn’t sure this was such a good idea.
The bottle spun before slowing down to achieve its final rotation.
The bottle stopped.
“Me?” Tifa made no effort to disguise her surprise.
Actually, scratch that, this was a good idea. Rude smiled to himself, his eyes briefly catching Reno’s.
“This couldn't be going any better.” Reno chuckled as he watched his partner in crime rise to his feet.
“Uh well, okay I guess.” Tifa stuttered, unsure of what exactly to do as Rude leaned over the table, only stalling mere inches from her.
“I think it's my turn.” Reno smirked, though the lack of hesitation in his movements suggested it was not up for debate.
He wasn’t waiting for his friend to finish, they’d be here all night if he did.
Reno spun the bottle, it felt as though the attention of everyone in the room was eagerly upon it.
It began to slow before finally stopping.
Cloud faltered.
No way.
His eyes stared at the bottleneck that resided squarely at him.
No amount of alcohol was gonna be enough for this.
“Well, would you look at that?” Reno chuckled, though a glint in his eyes suggested that all his Christmas’s had come at once.
Was it desire?
Lust?
Doubtful.
The blind permission to taunt the blonde into submission. There's no way the blond mercenary would back down, no matter how much he dreaded the task.
That was the true appeal here.
Reno rose to his feet before leaning over the table. His eyes forming a direct conduit with Cloud’s. Neither one dared to drop their gaze.
The bar fell silent as Cloud suddenly became aware of everyone's eyes upon him.
He knew what they were thinking, after all, it wasn't difficult to decipher.
What was he going to do next?
To seize power you need to do something more remarkable than your enemy. Be that remarkably impressive or remarkably sinister.
“Pucker up princess.” Reno smirked once more.
Cloud rose to his feet before also leaning over the table. His face mere inches from the Turk’s.
“You're the princess, bitch.” His words were cold, decisive and delivered without remorse.
Striking faster than a death claw, Cloud reached for the back of Reno’s head before drawing him in for the kill. Their lips collided with a flurry of crimson and snow.
It wasn't enough, he didn't want submission, he wanted dominance, something he knew the redhead would be just as desperate to achieve. It was a fight to the death so to speak. The death of one of them's dignity that is.
Aside from that, this was about more than just them, they were each the respective leaders of their group, at least of the present company. Cloud couldn't afford to display any kind of weakness. He grasped at the redhead harder before pushing him onto the table under him. But he wasn't about to stop there. In order to succeed he would have to go in for the kill.
“You have quite the mouth on you.” Reno murmured as he shoved the blonde, in a vain attempt to get him off of him.
That same smirk still lingered on Reno’s lips, he had prodded the bear and was now reaping the consequences. He was hardly disappointed.
“You're one to talk.”
Cloud seized the redhead in place, maintaining the Turk’s position under him on the table as a silence fell between them.
“You know what Mr Soldier First Class? I like it better on top.”
“Well I've got you right where I want you.” Cloud stated, refusing to budge an inch.
“Oh, is that right? We’ll see about that.” Reno winked before suddenly grasping Cloud by the waist, knocking him off before quickly pushing the blond under him, as though the act were pure instinct.
“That’s more like it.”
Reno wasted no time straddling Cloud before leaning in closer. His lips now pressed against the blonde’s ear.
“How far are you planning to take this little game?” The redhead whispered, though he needn't have bothered. The Happy Turtle had remained silent since this challenge began. It seemed the entire bar was in a state of collective shock. His words might well have been in an echo chamber.
Tifa glanced at Aerith, then to Yuffie before finally turning to Barret. Their expressions were identical. This is not what they had anticipated at all.
The situation was quickly escalating, but into what? And how far would Cloud allow this to go? She opened her mouth to speak, yet words failed her.
“I always finish what I start.” Cloud stated in a vague attempt to throw his opponent off.
“Then that's one thing we have in common. You know what they say, what happens in Wutai, stays in Wutai.”
Cloud resisted the urge to display any kind of surprise as part of him wondered at the exact meaning behind the man's words. Was he intending to take this all the way? No doubt he would find out soon enough.
“In that case, your free game to me.”
Not too free Cloud hoped as he felt the redhead suddenly yank his ribbed top up to his neck, revealing Cloud’s bare chest.
“Cloud?!” Aerith appeared genuinely shocked as she watched her friend being fondled without displaying any amount of resistance.
Cloud ignored her concerned voice. This wasn’t her fight, this was his.
Reno slid his hands down the blonde's chest before stalling just short of his groin. His eyes darted to meet Cloud’s, as though hoping for a glimmer of panic to emerge in his eyes.
Only it didn't. The blonde remained as stoic as he'd always known him.
He would have to try harder.
Reno proceeded south, his fingers dancing almost teasingly over the blonde’s belt.
Still nothing in the blonde’s eyes.
Why was he just taking this treatment? Perhaps he was waiting for the right moment to strike.
Or maybe he actually liked it.
One way to find out.
Reno began to undo the blonde’s belt, for the moment forgetting his audience. It was just him and the blonde.
“Cloud! What are you doing man?” Barret’s eyes were as wide as saucers as he watched his friend being undressed by their enemy, right in front of their eyes.
How far were they going to take this? This was a public bar after all.
His eyes locked with Rude’s, his own apprehension reflected within the Turk's dark orbs.
By this point, Reno had proceeded past the belt obstacle as he began to undo the man's trousers.
His eyes weren't on what he was doing however.
No.
They remained affixed to Cloud’s.
If there was any glimmer of reluctance, he would be the first to know.
Reno pulled down the man's zipper before sliding his fingers inside.
Cloud was going to stop him, any minute now. He was going to stop him, wasn’t he?
These words were no doubt also going through the minds of the paralyzed audience.
But they would be wrong.
“Hey! You stop that now! You want a piece of me?” Barret intervened, pushing the end of his gun to Reno’s head.
“Not you.” Reno waved his hand dismissively, foisting the gun away with the back of his hand, his eyes never once leaving the blonde’s.
“Why you insolent...”
“It’s okay Barret, I got this.'' Cloud held up his hand to wave away the older man and his concerns along with it.
Reno wasted no time wrapping his fingers around Cloud’s semi hard cock.
“Interesting. I wasn’t exactly expecting this response.” Reno whispered, though he had no doubt the whole bar heard his words as he tightened his grip before drawing the member to the surface.
“Cloud?! He’s touching your ding dong! ” This time it was Yuffie’s voice emerging from the fray.
It wasn't as though he didn't already know that.
Cloud ignored her concerned tone, after all he couldn't stop. He couldn’t be the one to show weakness in this screwed up game of chicken. He chose instead to remain seemingly unfazed as he lay upon the table in the Wutai bar with his cock out for all to see.
His now hard cock no less.
“Hey! You shouldn’t be watching this!” Barret’s voice boomed out across the bar as he reached over before covering her eyes with his hand.
“Hey!” Yuffie pried at the hand blinding her vision in a desperate attempt to be rid of it.
How dare she miss out on something everyone else is privy to.
Reno released his hold, allowing the live cock to fall back against its master's abdomen.
“It seems you like this more than you let on.” Reno made no effort to disguise the satisfaction plastered all over his face.
Yet still the blonde remained silent.
Cloud's poker face was infallible as Reno leant forward.
Challenge accepted.
He would decimate that poker face.
“I never would have pegged you to be a horny little bitch.” Reno smirked, if those words didn’t rouse him to life, nothing would.
Yet still, Cloud remained silent. “But don't worry sweetheart, we can fix that.” Despite his promise of assistance, there was nothing sincere about the Turk's tone as he pressed his face up to Cloud’s exposed groin, his lips mere inches from the merc’s throbbing cock.
“You like this treatment do ya?” Reno spoke aloud, though his eyes lay unflinchingly upon the pulsating cock before him.
“It seems you like it as much as I do.” Cloud muttered back.
Though, the blonde didn't know if ‘like’ was the most accurate word. It was becoming more of a ‘need’ with each passing second. Despite his relatively calm outward demeanour, he could feel the beast awakening within him.
For once Reno seemed to have ran out of words as he stared intently at the blonde. Perhaps his demeanor would be answer enough.
A stillness fell over them, Cloud half expected to see a tumbleweed roll passed.
“Are you going to suck me already?” Cloud suddenly demanded, surprising even himself as he grew tired of this ceaseless teasing.
“Hungry are we?” Reno barely seemed fazed at having demands made of him, though that didn't necessarily mean he planned on seeing them through.
“Well I'm hungry too.” Reno leaned back, and in one swift, unexpected move he whisked the blonde’s trousers down to his ankles.
“Bend over bitch, I'll show you something you've never seen before.” It was as though someone had lit a fire in Reno’s eyes. He was determined, but to do what? That remained to be seen.
“I don't take my orders from you.”
“Making me work for it huh?” Reno pried Cloud’s legs apart, grabbing the merc by the thighs before drawing his groin closer to his own.
“Which do you prefer, Cloud? Pain or pleasure.”
“What's it to you?” Cloud raised an eyebrow, as though afraid to think too much on the redhead’s words in case they had actual relevance to his current predicament.
“I wanna see that pretty face of yours grimace in either pain or pleasure. So which is it?” It wasn't really a question and they both knew it as Reno undid his trousers before retrieving his own hard member.
“Cloud! You're not really gonna let him do this to you!” Barret yelled as he grasped the blond by the shoulder, as though hoping to snap him out of this strange trance.
“I don't think you can handle what I've got.” That same taunting smile returned to Reno’s lips as he pressed the tip of his cock to Cloud’s opening.
“You underestimate me if that's what you think.” The blonde didn't take his eyes off of the redhead as he waved Barret's hand away once more.
“Uh, Reno, what are you…?” Elena began, though it seemed no one had even noticed her return, then again it was easy to understand why. Her eyes darted from Reno to Cloud before settling on the imminent penetration.
“I leave for 5 minutes and this is what happens?” Her voice gained an even higher pitch as she seemed unable to comprehend what she was witnessing.
“Shut up.” Reno muttered, though his eyes remained locked with Cloud’s. He didn’t want to miss a thing as he sunk his fingers into the blonde’s hips, holding them in place as he pushed his way through the threshold.
Cloud had braced himself, yet the intrusion still caught him by surprise as a gasp escaped his lips.
“What's wrong blondie? Is this too much for you?” Reno raised an eyebrow before driving his cock further into its tight surrounds.
“Hardly.” Cloud’s reaction returned to his guarded state, even as he felt the redhead’s member drill steadily deeper inside his body.
“Well, we’re only getting started, aren’t we?” Reno smirked as he suddenly thrust deep inside the blonde, as deep as the confines of his body would allow.
“Nugh.” Cloud hated himself as Reno extracted a moan from his lips against his will.
Damnit.
“Do you think you can last the distance Mr Soldier first class?” Reno raised a sceptical eyebrow, though an amused smirk began to grow upon his lips .
Cloud grasped the Turks, bare buttocks, sinking his fingers in his supple flesh. He drew him closer, as though doing so would allow more of the Turk inside of him.
To hell with words, everyone knew actions always spoke louder than them anyway.
Not that he felt as though he could formulate any at this moment.
Waves of pleasure began to radiate out from his groin, growing stronger, reaching further with every thrust.
He no longer cared about what his audience thought of him, or the Turks. Particularly the one buried inside of him right now. He just craved more pleasure. He needed it as he ground himself up against the redhead.
Despite himself, he couldn't ignore the chuckle as it fell from Reno’s lips.
Did he find this whole thing that amusing?
Who cares.
He finally felt his testicles grow taunt before the final release of pleasure.
And there it was.
“Nugh,” Cloud attempted in vain to restrain his moans as he felt himself release all over not only his own abdomen, but Reno’s as well.
“I guess I win.” Reno smirked as he thrusted his cock in one final time before exploding inside of the blonde.
“That depends.”
Reno’s eyes narrowed as he gazed down at the blonde, not bothering to hide the confusion in his eyes.
“Depends on what?”
“How you compare.”
“Compare to what?”
“The others”
“What others?”
Cloud grasped the base of Reno’s cock before drawing it out of his body.
“Wait… You mean this isn’t the first time you have done this?” Reno made no effort to disguise the mix of aberration and disappointment pooling in his eyes.
“Of course not.” Cloud stately flatly as though he were doing something as mundane as watching Yuffie chase materia.
“What do you mean you’ve done this before?” Barret interjected, finally finding his words again as he struggled to come to terms with the events taking place right before his very eyes.
“Then who?” Reno need not have asked, the question was in his eyes.
“What is it to you?”
“I think I can guess.”
“I dare you.” Cloud’s eyes narrowed as he lay strewn about the table, making no attempt to cover his naked body.
Reno leaned in closer, his guess on the edge of his tongue as he stopped mere inches from the blonde’s lips.
“Was it… Hmm… Lets see… What was that guy you used to hang around all the time. Oh, that’s right! Zack.”
“What?” Aerith gasped, her eyes as wide as saucers
“Shit.” Cloud muttered, regretting it instantly. How had he forgotten Aerith was in the room?
“Well that wasn’t a hard guess now, was it?”
“And that’s the end of this game.” Tifa announced after one glance at Aerith’s mortified expression.
“Damn I didn’t even get a turn.” Barret whined before suddenly realising what he had said.
