Running through the tunnels holding a trolling in shaky but protective gripped arms hearing screams from seemingly everywhere at once the daylight leaking through the dirt ceiling before being replaced by a bergen's eye. The trolls were used to being prey to these massive creatures who consumed them for their own selfish ways but right now the teen troll couldn't be prey not while holding a trolling so she did the only thing she could do right now.
Viva continued running still holding the trolling and trying desperately to get Poppy to safety to King Peppy, their dad. The 13 year old tripped over a exposed root from the ground using her hair to make herself into a ball rolling to get farther ahead until she knocked someone over. Getting out of her hair cocoon and seeing the person in front of her it was the gray trolling-
"Branch!" Viva shouts quickly helping up the 6 year old that she knocked over to get Poppy safe. Hearing the chaos around her she made a decision. "Branch take Poppy to dad!" Removing the trolling in her arms and handing her to the gray troll whose snout is leaking pink: blood. There was no time to feel guilty for the injury to the troll's wellbeing not with all the chaos around her.
Mahogany eyes look at her with arms reaching out to the older wanting to be back to her. "Veev?" Her baby sister asks and Viva feels tears go to her eyes but pushes it down holding back her own fear. "I'm sorry Helpy but some trolls can't keep up and it's my job as a royal to save them." Looking at the trolling one more time Princess Viva leaves to go assist the other trolls.
Branch runs holding a crying Poppy in his arms until reaching another troll and told them about the others. The troll had the trollings in his grasp and began running with more desperation than before. When the troll saw the King he yelled out "King Peppy!" Running to the royal troll with the princess and gray troll in his arms. "Princess Viva went back to help the other trolls that can't keep up!" He tells the King with the same urgency Branch had when he told the troll.
King Peppy's eyes widen staring at the panicking trolls in front of him he orders. "Hold on to them a bit longer I'll be back- No troll is being left behind!" Running back to the direction of the danger they were escaping from the King saves the rest of the trolls but the one Peppy tried saving the most finding only his daughter's hug time bracelet along side a collapsed tunnel.
