The room was dimly lit, the only source of said dim light being a phone, held by latte. It was around 2am, and the entire town was asleep, atleast except for him. He scrolled mindlessly on any social media app he could to try and tire himself, to finally be able to get the rest he deserved.
But none came.
Frustrated, latte groaned and turned his phone off, setting it on the nightstand and flipping over to his back, staring up at the ceiling. He watched as the ceiling fan gently spun in such a slow manner, it almost frustrated the man. How could a fan seem so tired and not him?
He turned his attention to the blinking blue light of his laptop under his bed, just in view from the corner of his eye. The blinking was slow, blue emitting for 2 seconds, then out for 3, then looped. It served as a small nightlight for the man. He hated to admit it, but he still had a slight fear of the dark, and it always helped when there was some kind of light in the room.
But not even that was helping him.
He had been dozing off for so long, he noticed a light starting to emit from the window, so bright it seemed as if the sun was rising. He just glanced over at it with confusion. Had he really been awake the entire night?
But it slowly got brighter the more he stared. Latte, now worried, shuffled out of the bed and walked over to the window. He realized the light was emitting right above his house. He looked up at it and saw a silhouette of someone falling, aiming right into his backyard. He started getting even more confused, and even a bit scared. Was he dreaming?
Suddenly, the silhouette roughly landed right in the middle of the yard with a loud thud. Latte flinched and stared down at the body.
The man had fluffy, grey hair. His dark skin was spotted with beautiful golden freckles all over what was exposed, and he wore a white cloth that just covered his body. He also wore tons of jewlery, such as necklaces and bracelets, along with a clasp on his ankle with a broken chain, all made out of pure gold.
What latte picked out however, were the four sets of wings with only a few feathers in tact, as if the rest had been forcefully ripped out. What latte assumed was the halo was peirced through his head, forming a pool of blood dripping off the sides of his face.
Latte felt relieved, yet confused, seeing that the angel was still breathing. As if the tiredness he worked so hard for had dissapeared, he ran out of his room and stumbled into the backyard, looking at the body in person.
The man had opened his eyes now, his golden pupils darting over to the young adult. He tried to speak, but the pain in his head from the halo made him wince instead.
Latte leaned over the body, choking back a yell when he had processed the fact that this was indeed real, and not a dream or hallucination.
The angel was the first to break the silence.
"You.. i know you.."
The angels voice was smooth, yet higher pitched. Latte ignored the fact that his face heated up hearing it.
"Do... do you need any help?" The human questioned.
The other glanced away nervously and held out a hand. Latte grabbed it.

"So.. how do you know me?"
The supposed "micro" had bandages around his head, the halo successfully removed from his head. Latte had to cut some holes in some old clothes of his, only to find out his wings can fade through clothing. Great. Micro now had a band shirt on (broomer boys obviously) and some grey sweatpants on. They sadly couldn't find a way to remove the chain.
Micros eyes suddenly emitted a soft glow from being questioned, as if he got excited from such a question.
"You were a contestant on extraordinarily excellent entities, you remember me don't you?"
Latte blinked.
"I was part of the challange in episode 14! The challange was to bring be back down here?"
It finally clicked. Latte felt embarrassed for realizing so late, as it had been a while since the show ended. Latte also started to feel a familiar emotion fog his head as he remembered.
He had the biggest crush on this angel when he first saw him in the episode. Latte was able to see the similarities from now and the episode, but his mind flashed back to the image of him in that small crater, looking so vulnerable and weak.
His heart broke.
Micro frowned.
"Thats... actually why i got kicked out of glubworld. Glub thought that i hated being there, and was so sad because i was the chosen one. I hated being the chosen one, so i just snapped at everyone there. I told them i hated being used for nothing but creating the same thing over and over again, and being brushed off when i complained and tried being cheered up by constantly being reminded i was 'the chosen one for a reason.'"
"Glub got mad at me and called me ungrateful. He decided to kick me out, and tore up my wings and stabbed me with my halo to make sure I'd never be as beautiful as the angels who were grateful for his gifts..."
Tears had welled up in the angels eyes. Lattes heart melted seeing this, guilt washing over him. He brushed a hand on micros face, making the other tense up and look at him with wide eyes.
"You're beautiful to me."
Micros eyes had gleamed yet again, his face flushing a gentle shade of red. Latte didn't bother hiding his blush, nor move his hand away. He felt so hypnotized looking at the fallen one's eyes, so sympathetic and gentle. The more latte stared, the more he saw the gorgeous angel in the show. Latte leaned closer to get a better look, and micro leaned in closer. Their faces were now inches apart, their gaze never breaking. Micro leaned closer to close the gap.
But latte had pulled away last second to yawn. Micro quickly scrambled away out of embarrassment, thinking he had done something wrong. Once he had realized the other was just yawning, he nervously chuckled and sat up straight again. Latte looked at micro with heavy eyes, smirking at the embarrassment from the other.
"Im tired. Wanna sleep with me?"
What feathers were left on micro puffed up out of shock. His face flushing. Latte had realized his mistake shortly after, chuckling and shaking his head.
"I mean literally go to bed. If you're tired of course"
Micro sighed and nodded.
"But.. i do wanna ask something."
Latte tilted his head.
"Can we.. cuddle? I mean.. if that doesn't make you uncomfortable.. im just so cold and your hand was so.. so warm and i-"
"Come on idiot"
Latte spoke with obvious amusement and grabbed micros hand, pulling him into his bedroom.

Latte lay on his side, micro resting his head on the other man's chest. Latte had his arms and legs wrapped around the angel, while micro only had his own bruised arms wrapped around lattes waist. The blinking of the laptop didn't help before, but now latte slept comfortably with the soft golden rays of micros feathers.
Latte had never slept so good before.
