Pressure Therapy

Summary:

Krauser is your favourite weighted blanket.

Notes:

I need to work on my Krauser characterisation, but I think this works well enough for a soft scene.

Work Text:

You weren't quite expecting him to return today, or for a few days, and yet... you come home to Krauser in your living room. He must have only just entered your house, as he was unlacing his combat boots while sitting on your sofa.

"Jack..."

You breathe, quiet to try and hide the turmoil of your mind. A bad day, for you and for him. You don't want him to see you like this.

Of course, your attempt to hide from him is in vain, as the large man pauses in the delicate unlacing to turn his head towards you. Sharp blue eyes stare you down, pick apart your mood, and he flicks his boots to the side quickly.

"Come here."

You shake your head, try to leave the room to go and hide, but he tsks and calls your name. Again, he tells you to come to him, and you do. Shaky steps, hands clenching and unclenching inside your sleeves. Do you even deserve comfort?

Well. That question is answered for you when a big hand cups your cheek and strokes your skin softly.

"What do you need?"

You close your eyes and nuzzle his hand. He smells like his boots, seeing as that is where his hands were as you came in, and he smells like himself. Its a scent that brings you comfort. The smell of your lover, your rock.

"Pressure."

He hums softly as he shifts over on the sofa, has you sit down, and gently strips you of your coat. Krauser slides to one knee to remove your shoes, taking a moment to cup your face again.

"Lay down."

You want to shake your head, say no, but you crave being under him right now. Your favourite weighted blanket. And so, you lay down, get comfortable, and hold your hands out to the taller man.

He takes a moment to settle over you and slowly lower himself down on top of you. Already, the slight pressure as he gets comfortable in his new position as your blanket feels good. Your mind is ready to go blank for a while.

Krauser finally fully gives to you his mass, taking in a deep breath as he kisses your cheek, and gently whispers your name.

In response, you hide your head as best you can in his neck, lifting your arms to curl them into his shirt like a baby monkey. As much as you wish you were strong enough to keep Krauser where you want, you know that if he wanted to, he could peel you off.

And yet, he doesn't. He just. Rests with you. Mental fatigue catches up with you and you close your eyes. His breathing is slow. You let the soft cadence drag you away from your stress and into a silent limbo. Just for a little while. A little reprieve with your lover. A slice of heaven given flesh.
