Chapter Text
Robin sighed as she walked back to the ship along side the rest of the Strawhat crew, she was worried about the three members they had left behind. Maybe she should have stayed when she realized Sanji was going into heat, but she didn't want anyone getting suspicious about too many people staying back.
She had tried to entertain the crew with the old ruins on the far side of the island but that only lasted a day at best, and Nami found the spa's to be fantastic but she was itching to get back to the Sunny and count up the treasure they had found. Usopp went on about his previous adventures into dark and spooky caves and how he wasn't afraid of them, really!
The Sunny was right where they left it, so nothing disastrous had happened but something about the quiet was unnerving, The Sunny was so quiet when she was missing her life blood, the Strawhat crew, running around and pushing her along the waves.
"What's with the look Little Mama?" Franky wasn't often the most observant but he had been getting better at reading Robin's mysterious moods. Her face was smooth like a calm lake but he could see her unease.
"She is quiet."
Franky followed her eyes looking at their ship, and laughed. "Yeah, alone she is pretty quiet, but that is because she was just waiting for us to get back. For us to share our stories with her as she takes us across the New World."
Robin seemed to pause at the words and let her apprehensiveness melt, a smile gracing her face. "Yes, that is true. She has been great for us, but I was more worried that we haven't seen the cook or our swordsman in the town or the ruins, yet she sleeps."
Franky felt the smile that was beaming slide off his face in horror, "I swear if they did something to my baby there will be blood!"

"Chopper! Chopper!" Nami called, looking around the galley and towards the infirmary.
"Cho-... Chopper?" Nami observed her small crewmate reading furiously with something weird sticking from his ears and nose. Tapping his shoulder dragged an ungodly scream from the reindeer before he saw it was Nami.
"Nami!" Tears welled up in his eyes as he jumped to her nuzzling his face into her neck and started to blabber something so quickly that there was no way Nami was going to catch it.
"Chopper calm down, what happened?" Nami rubbed up and down his back trying to keep worry from showing on her face. "Chopper?...CHOPPER!?"
Chopper sniffed and wiped his tears pulling back confused for a moment before pulling some ear plugs out that he had fashioned from some gauze. "Sorry Nami, it's just that Zoro was acting weird and Robin asked me to look out for him but then he and Sanji were fighting and!" Chopper was having a hard time getting it out still on the verge of tears.
"Doctor, it is alright." Robin appeared from the hallway with a somewhat contemplative look creasing her brows. "I'm sure I've figured out what our dear swordsman has been afflicted with."
Nami was confused, Zoro was fine when they left. Had something happened while they were out? Zoro and Sanji fighting was par for course.
"Robin! I tried I really did but they wouldn't listen to me! It was like I wasn't even there!" Chopper launched himself to cuddle the archeologist.
"Zoro has a very rare disease that has only been written about, I don't think anyone I've ever met has seen anyone with Lycanthropy." Robin explained with a sad smile. "I am afraid dear Doctor, that their is no known cure."
Chopper and Nami gasped and they both started wailing. "Zoro is going to die!"
"No nothing so fortunate." Robin gave some levity to the situation trying to cheer them up.
"That's. Not. Funny!" Chopper cried between sobs.
"Zoro is not going to die, it is just a chronic condition that flares up every month." While the situation was a bit humorous Robin was curious about documenting the effects of Lycanthropy.
"R-really?" Nami sniffed.
"Our dear swordsman is now going to be our resident wolfman."
Nami and Chopper were both shocked, they were left speechless.
Zoro was... A WEREWOLF?
