Chapter Text
Distant future. Unknown lab.
“Are you finished with that thing?”
Putting a vital part on her machine, a woman in her forties looked up from her work towards the owner of the voice. A young man in his twenties with an athletic build stood by the door to her lab, hands in the pockets of his leather jacket, a red and green hoody under said clothing with its hood covering his face. His mismatched red and green eyes watched her work as he tapped the floor with his black military boots. His blue jeans had bits of blood and dirt as he dusted off his jacket.
“Almost. Just need to connect it to the computer and power it up.” The inventor replied to him as she dragged a long cable plugged onto a highly advanced computer.
“About time already. You sure took your time with this thing.” The young man told her as he walked up to the device.
“Hey, this is a highly ambitious and complicated machine! One that I put all my blood, sweat and tears and longs days of no sleep into making! So show some respect you damn brat!” The woman told him as she shot him a stern look as the young man lifted his bio-armor covered hands up.
“Okay, okay. You don’t need to get that agitated!” He said as he backed away while the woman went back to her computer, “So how do we use it?”
“Let’s wait till David comes back. I need him to juice it up if we wish to make it work.” The young man perked up as he heard a sound of footsteps. He turned around to see the doors open again as another young man walked in. He was the same height, age and build as him but wore different clothes and gear. A green and yellow jacket with lightning bolts on the sides, a pair of fingerless gloves covered his hands, black pants complimented with armored boots covered his lower half. A respirator and a scarf covered his lower face as he held a basketball sized sphere like device in his hands.
“You’re usually a lot faster than this, David.” David turned towards the other male with a deadpan look and pointed to the door.
“Try finding that sphere in a rubble of a giant lab in the middle of an ocean in that kind of horrible weather. I would like to see how long it would take you, Kenji.” Kenji chuckled before looking at the sphere.
“So it really has been there the entire time? I thought mom and dad got rid of it.” David shook his head.
“Fortunately no. Dad is too fascinated with Quirks to get rid of it and mom wanted to replicate the effect. They hid it pretty well too. I had to level the place again just to find the damn safe it was in.”
“Well, you can’t blame them given what it managed to do to you…and other people…but mostly you.” Kenji told him as David nodded at him.
The sphere in his hands disappeared as the older woman connected it to the computer. She moved fast from the computer to the large machine in the room to the sphere. Her metal legs making tapping sounds as she moved around.
“This is one hell of a puzzle your parents made, kids! Wish they invited me as well when they made it! That would have been a fun experience!” the woman said as she moved her metal right hand through her greying hair. Her goggles covered her eyes as she pressed the button at a quick speed while David walked towards the large machine.
“So is it ready Aunt Mei? We don’t have much time left before this lab goes under the ocean.” David asked as Mei turned to him with a large smile.
“Almost. We just need a massive amount of power to send you that far back in the past.” She lifted up her goggles looking at him with a knowing grin, “Now go outside get the power Dave! We need as much as possible! So much so that you will be glowing with power when you come back!”
“Alright, alright. I got it Aunty.” David said as he left the lab while Kenji rolled his eyes.
“You’re weird Aunt Mei.” He told the inventor who shrugged her shoulders. His ears perked up as he heard the rumble of thunder outside as well as the sounds of lightning hitting something for several minutes before it stopped. A few seconds later David came back, looking like he was made of lightning as he ran up to the device.
“Will this be enough?” He asked Mei, his voice slightly distorted as Mei gave a thumbs up.
“More than enough kid! Now stand in that platform and touch the machine. When I give the signal pour all the power into Chronos.” David did as he was told, “Oi, Kanjo! Come here!” Kenji sighed at her words.
“It’s Kenji, Aunt Mei.” Kenji told her as he came up to her and she put the sphere device in his hands. She turned around before attaching a cable to it before putting a smaller device on him.
“What’s this for?” He asked as Mei grinned.
“Well you see kid, you might get vaporized when the machine activates due to the sheer power output so I made this item to protect you!” Kenji’s eyes widened at her words.
“Wait! I might what?!”
“HIT IT DAVE!” Mei shouted as David let the power flow. The lab began to shake as the machine powered up. A series of blue rings floated up around Chronos as the devices around began to spark or explode. Blue and green energy began to appear as electricity began to strike everywhere.
“What the hell?!” Kenji shouted as the sphere in his hands glowed as he dodged an electric blast from Chronos. David turned back to normal as he approached Kenji watching the sphere glow after so many years.
“Did you upload the data into it Aunt Mei?!” David shouted as the earthquake increased in intensity.
“I put all I could into it! It won’t stop showing the data until it completely runs out of power! Make sure to recharge otherwise it will go back to the start!” Mei told them before the sirens around the lab began to wail.
WARNING! TSUNAMI APPROACHING! ABANDON THE AREA!
“Shit! We ran out of time! Let’s go Aunt Mei!” Kenji grabbed Mei’s hand and dragged her to Chronos while David took the sphere and stood on the circle in the machine.
“Sorry boys but I can’t.” Kenji heard Mei say before she wrenched her hand free.
“Wha-” She pushed him into the machine and slammed down on a button next to the computer.
“Aunt Mei! What are you doing?!” David shouted as he moved to get her before a blue force field stopped him.
“I can’t go with you! The machine can’t send more than two people otherwise it will overload and explode! You two need to go without me!”
WARNING! LAB STRUCTURE UNSTABLE! EVACUATE THE AREA!
“Aunt Mei! You’re insane! Get out of here!” David shouted at her as the rings spun around them.
“Good luck boys! Say hi to younger me! Find the U.A academy! Save your parents! Save us all from this fate!” Mei shouted as Chronos covered David and Kenji in blue and green energy, preventing them from seeing her.
“AUNT MEI!” was the last thing Mei heard before a blue and green energy pillar shot up to the sky, breaking the lab ceiling. The clouds above parted as blue, green and red light flashed as Mei looked up.
“Mama, papa, Power Loader sensei, everyone. It will be okay. They will save us.” Mei said as water began to rush into the lab when the pillar disappeared, “I will see you again, my love.” She closed her eyes as the water wave swallowed her.
Present day. Japan. U.A High School.
All Might panted as he ran back into the teacher’s lounge where other teachers and Nezu relaxed. After closing the door he shrank back into his skinny form, sighing in relief and falling on his butt as he felt the strain of holding up his form disappear. He looked at his watch, a frown on his face.
“One hour left. I spent more time on those lessons than I thought.” He muttered to himself as he stood up. His old suit hanging off his thin body as he went to sit on his chair.
“Rough first day?” Power Loader asked him as he held device on his right hand and a cup of coffee on his other.
“Teaching is a lot harder than I thought it would be.” Toshinori replied to him as he put his notes and papers on the desk.
“It’s always crazy on the first day but you’ll get used to it. Coffee?” He offered the cup as Yagi nodded.
“Much appreciated.” He took the cup and took a sip, then took at his notes and frowned.
“Something wrong pard’ner?” Snipe asked as he sat at his own desk looking at the lesson plans.
“Some of the students in 1A went too far during the Battle Trials. Young Bakugou destroyed both the bomb and a load-bearing wall. Young Todoroki gave one of his classmates hypothermia when he froze the building. Young Kaminari lost control of his Quirk and overloaded himself causing harm to Young Tokoyami as well as himself. Young Mineta displayed unprofessional behavior by ogling Young Yaoyorozu and Young Iida kicked Young Aoyama too hard and bruised his ribs. As for 1-B, Young Togaru accidentally cut Young Yanagi’s upper clothes and ended up exposing her, though he later apologized to her. Young Tokage ended up passing out due to losing many of her pieces to a sneak attack. Young Honenuki almost crashed the building when he softened a load-bearing wall. Lastly Young Shishida ended up hitting Young Kodai too hard and broke her arm.” Yagi frowned as he read his notes, narrowing his eyes at Bakugou’s actions.
“That is worrying. Did you at least give detention to Bakugou, Shishida and Todoroki?” Midnight asked as Yagi nodded.
“I did. Although, Young Bakugou didn’t seem very happy with that. He even acted somewhat childishly and overly aggressive compared to Young Todoroki, Young Shishida and Young Iida who apologized for their actions and just accepted their detention.” Nezu blinked at those words while Eraser Head and Vlad King frowned.
“Oh? That is interesting.” He looked at other teachers who exchanged glances before his eyes fell on a frowning Present Mic.
“Yamada-san, is something wrong? You are usually in a more cheerful mood.” Present Mic blinked looking up to see others looking at him with worries eyes.
“Oh, nothing is wrong. It’s just…well, it has to do with my class, 1-C.”
“What, did one of them get into trouble already due to a Quirk accident?” Midnight jokingly asked as Present Mic sighed and leaned back.
“I wish it was an accident Nemuri.” Midnight’s smile disappeared as he said her real name, “one of my students was antagonized by others when they learned what his Quirk was.”
“So a classic case of Quirk discrimination? Were the others punished?” Vlad King asked him as Present Mic only groaned.
“Yes,” Eraser head grinned slightly as he heard that, “and then I gave detention to the kid in question when I saw him antagonizing another student in his class because of his Quirk status.” The grin fell as he looked at his friend.
“Quirk status?” Yamada took off his glasses as he rubbed his eyes and was about to reply…
“Um, did the weather forecast say anything about a storm?” Midnight interrupted as she pointed to the windows as the other teachers looked at the windows as well. Their looks turned to surprise as they saw a huge amount of clouds on the horizon with lightning flashing.
“I’m no weather expert but I’m pretty sure that that is the work of someone’s Quirk.” Snipe said as he pointed at the clouds.
“Given that the lightning is flashing different colors it is obvious that this isn’t natural.” Eraser Head told him as he narrowed his eyes while red lightning struck something in the distance.
“Everyone,” The teachers turned to Nezu who was looking at the TV, “We may need to see this.” The TV showed a report from Tokyo, specifically the Shibuya crossing with a red-skinned reporter in a helicopter.
Tokyo
“We interrupt this program to bring you a special report from Tokyo. For nearly 10 minutes the capital has been subject of an intense storm.” The camera operator turned towards the storm in question as green lightning flashed in the sky.
“Right now the authorities are unsure about how this storm appeared but they believe it may be the work of someone with a weather Quirk. Pro Heroes are arriving to ensure the safety of the citizens and-”
She got cut off by a very loud KABOOM followed by a KRAKATOOM as the lightning strikes intensified terrifying the populace as lightning struck the billboards and lamps. A multi colored light began to shine above as the clouds began to spin while red, green and blue lightning struck the ground and stayed in place before they began to spin around the crossing. The clouds spun faster and faster until…
A large energy pillar emerged from above and struck the building next to the crossing, lightning flashing around the building and striking the buildings around it. The pillar remained for a second before it disappeared in a flash of light. The clouds slowed their spin while the lightning strikes completely stopped as the people stared surprised at the events that transpired.
“Folks, it appears that the storm finally calmed down. What exactly happened now is unknown but-wait I see someone on the building! Turn towards them!” The reporter said as she pointed to the roof of the building. Her partner turned to the roof, showing the populace two people standing on the roof with a small sphere next to them, though one of them looked like he was wounded as blood could be seen on the roof.
Suddenly, every screen in Japan, from television to phone screens changed to show the two people on the rooftop. Even those outside the mainland such as I-island saw their screens switch to show the two men.
“Did it work? Are we in Japan?” One of the two asked as he stood up to his full height. His short blonde hair with green highlights ruffling in the wind as he looked around him.
“I think so. That landing hurts!” the other one said as he held a hand to his chest. His other hand is covered in organic armor, which soon began to turn normal.
“Well Aunt did say that you would get vaporized. Good thing you weren’t otherwise it would be no fun here on my own.” The blonde man said as he helped up the other man stand up. He looked around him seeing all the advertisement and the helicopter.
“All those words are in Japanese so we are defeinitely where we should be. And it looks like we attracted their attention.” The blonde man turned to look at the helicopter before seeing the screens showing them.
“Looks like the sphere activated. We don’t have much time before we need to move.” He said as he grabbed the sphere before looking at the hooded man, “Ready to do this?”
His partner nodded at him as the two turned towards the camera.
“Hello Japan! I am David.”
“And I am Kenji.”
“I apologize for our sudden appearance and for interrupting you all but I assure you that we are here with good intentions! Believe us when we say that we didn’t want to do this but the circumstances forced us to take drastic action.”
Nezu listened intently while working on his laptop, trying to find info on the two.
The Hero Commission President look at her screen with narrowed eyes seeing the sphere in the hands of Conduit.
‘Was that his Quirk I wonder?’ She though thinking on sending a team to capture them.
Yagi narrowed his eyes as he heard his words.
“His accent.” He said as the teachers turned to him, “He speaks Japanese but his accent is American.”
“They were surprised to see Japan when they looked around, meaning they definitely aren’t from here.”
“Let me start with this first: my brother and I here are from the future. 30 years in the future to be exact.”
That particular info shocked everyone, especially a police officer who dropped his coffee mug causing it to shatter.
“Naomasa-san what’s wrong?” Another officer asked him as Tsukauchi started shaking and paling. The other officers and the chief looked at him concerned.
“They…they’re telling the truth.” He said making them more shocked at his words.
“We won’t sugarcoat the situation here. Sometime in the future, the villains managed to find someone who rallied all of them under one banner and led a horrible war against all the heroes. And it all started here.” Kenji said as his wounds healed up and he stood next to his brother, “At first they weren’t any threat to the top heroes…until they began hiring stronger and smarter villains and causing more chaos every time. Eventually they managed to take out, capture and…presumably violate two of the top heroes, Ryukyu and Mirko. The state they were found in when the heroes located the villains’ hideout…wasn’t good.”
Endeavor clenched his fists, his fires flaring up as he heard the info. The villain he arrested looking at him with a smug smile before he knocked him out.
Hawks frowned as he sat on a roof of a building while three thieves he arrested whispered to each other.
Mirko jumped from rooftop to rooftop, an angry look on her face as her feet cracked the concrete every time she jumped. She saw a villain running away with bags of money and jumped on him with vicious kick.
Ryukyu snarled as her sharp teeth showed while scales trailed up her face and arms. Her interns stood horrified at what they heard.
Many of the villains had grins on their faces and some had lecherous smiles at the thought of beating and capturing two of the beautiful heroes.
“After that it became a downward spiral. First, Crust and his agency were blown up alongside half of the city he was in. Then Wash has been drowned and Yoroi Musha has been crushed in his own armor, Best Jeanist was skewered and later devoured by Moonfish, Hawks has been shot to death by his predecessor and Endeavor…a villain Dabi burned his family one by one and before his death took out the Hero with him.” David spoke with a serious look on his face.
The aforementioned heroes all looked horrified. Hawks ran a hand through his hair, his eyes wide as he realized who it was that would kill him.
Crust stood up and ordered his sidekicks to check the building to make sure there were no bombs.
Wash trembled with fear while Yoroi Musha frowned under his helmet as he looked at his armor.
Best Jeanist’s eyes widened, recognizing the name of the villain, his hands trembling as he heard his fate.
Endeavor’s horrified look changed to one of determination and anger as he dialed the numbers of his children, telling Fuyumi to not go home and for Natsuo to find a police station. Lastly, he told Shoto to stay at U.A until he finds the so-called Dabi.
Meanwhile Dabi had a wicked smile on his face as he walked into a bar. He could feel his Quirk burning as he clenched his hands.
“It all came to a head when All Might and other Pro heroes decided to track down the base of operations. Unfortunately, the villain leader managed to take out most of the heroes and even managed to wound and almost kill All Might. Their battle destroyed Kamino but in the end All Might ended up dead.”
If the news about top heroes dying didn’t horrify people the news of All Might dying in the future surely did.
“He…he killed All Might?” one civilian said as he sat in a café.
“But…how? No one can beat All Might!” A kid next to him said as tears came to his eyes.
‘The Symbol of Peace is…dead?’ Many thought as in U.A Toshinori looked shocked. His eyes wide in horror as he realized who it was who could have killed him.
“It-It can’t be! I killed him! I crushed his head in my hands!” he said as he stood up. Blood gushing out of his mouth as the other teachers all looked horrified.
“Who are you talking about?” Eraser Head asked him as Yagi grit his teeth.
“All for One.”
The U.A students all had looks of horror. They just couldn’t comprehend what they heard.
“Like hell those shitty villains managed to kill All Might!” Bakugou shouted as he gripped his phone. He could understand the leader killing all the extras but killing All Might?! As if that would ever happen! He wanted to find the villain and blow up his face right now! Screw what the authorities will say to him!
Another student in General Education class stare at his screen with horror.
“All Might…no.” He whispered as his green eyes were ready to tear up.
Meanwhile in a bar, Tomura looked pleased at the hero’s deaths before hearing the last part.
“Sensei…”
A man hooked to computers smiled sinisterly as he heard everything.
“From that point, it all went to shit. The leader died from his wounds but his apprentice took over and started a war in Japan that led to the entire world having villain revolutions. It lasted for more than 20 years. The villains had all the manpower needed from all the outcasts of the world as well as the declining morale from the normal populace while heroes kept losing more and more valuable men and women. It became so bad that the world’s militaries began to mobilize and aid the heroes, which only made things worse.”
“To make sure you understood the scale, both of us were twelve when we joined the war effort against the villains.”
“TWELVE?!” Midnight shouted as she jumped from her seat, “They shouldn’t be fighting villains at that age!”
“Things must have been really bad if they were allowed to join while both of them were twelve.” Vlad King said, hands clenched as he heard more and more bad news.
The rest of Japan were equally shocked with many feeling despair as they heard the hopelessness of the situation.
“Twelve. They look to be in their twenties. How long were they fighting?” a corporal of the JSDF said as he watched the screen.
“Their eyes. Look at them.” One if the captains said as he pointed at their faces.
“They have seen horrors of war. There’s no doubt about it.”
“But eventually after so many years of casualties and deaths we managed to defeat and kill most of the villains alongside their leader and stopped their madness.”
Any despair people had turned to confusion.
“Wait, they defeated them?”
“Then why are they here?”
“Why come back if they managed to stop the villains?”
At U.A the teachers and students looked stunned and confused while in a bar Tomura’s controller turned to dust as he heard the last part.
“Bullshit! How the hell did we fail?! We were so close to winning!”
‘Indeed. How did we fail?’ All for One thought as he began to think.
“You heard us right. We killed the villains. Burned them, vaporized them, buried them, castrated them, froze them, crushed them, whatever verb you like we did it to them. We managed to kill every last one of them in a final grueling battle.”
“Unfortunately, most of the world’s heroes died in the end. Even worse is that the war ravaged most of the Earth, rendering the planet uninhabitable. Most of the continents became hellholes in different ways. Australia and other contries in Oceania are radioactive wastelands, all of Africa is a lifeless desert, Europe split apart into small islands and South America was covered in volcanic lava from all the volcano eruptions. In case you are curious, Japan and most of East Asian countries became craters and went under the ocean. This is the first time we ever visited Japan. All the knowledge we have is from what is left of Japan's Pro Heroes.”
“Japan is lost?” One U.A student breathed out in horror as he looked at his screen.
“He said most of East Asia. What about other Asian countries?” a man in a café said as he drank his soda.
“Maybe they are exaggerating?” Another one said as they nervously pulled on the collar of their suit.
“We tried to help as much as we could but it all led to nowhere. In the end, we decided, with the help of Mei Hatsume, one of the greatest inventors in our time who managed to build a time machine, go back to a time before the villain leader began to recruit. However during a search for parts we stumbled upon someone with a very unique Quirk.”
Mei Hatsume smiled in glee upon hearing the two call her one of the greatest inventors. She felt determination fill her and decided to start creating some babies now that she was motivated.
“A unique Quirk? I wonder what kind of Quirk it is?” All for One pondered. Perhaps a reality warping Quirk or time displacement Quirk? Either way he will find the person and take the Quirk.
“They had a Quirk that allowed them to see different versions of the future. They used their Quirk on us and we saw our world...not as it was but as it SHOULD have been. After some discussion, we concluded that going back and preventing the war wouldn’t be enough. The problems that caused the war lie within Japan itself and so we decided instead to show all of you…the future that should have been and will come to pass.”
Japan saw David put the sphere on the ground before lifting his hands up. Light flashed before multiple lightning bolts struck the time traveler. They saw his body light up with energy while more and more lightning bolts struck him. After a few seconds, it stopped as the man then grabbed the sphere before he began to charge it up.
The sphere glowed before its top part opened and a rectangular screen appeared. A set of rings surrounded the screen and began to spin around it.
Suddenly, blue rectangular screens appeared in front of everyone. Those who stood in groups and families had one big screen but all of them had the words:
DEVICE READY TO STREAM. WOULD YOU LIKE TO START?
Y N
“We couldn’t bring the one with the Quirk to the past so we decided to record everything he had shown us into this device. It was started by our late grandfather David Shield, finished by our late mother, the great inventor Melissa Shield with the help of our father, &%#@&%$# @$@&^& who is currently a student in U.A and upgraded by Mei Hatsume who sacrificed herself to ensure we could go back in time. It will show the events in the style of a show with each episode having a ten to thirty minute break and each ‘season’ will have a two week long break.”
Mei stopped her inventing as she registered his words.
“Sacrificed? Wait, I-”
Her phone rang and she picked it up.
“Mei, are you still at U.A?!” She recognized the voice of her father and could hear her mother’s worried voice.
“Mom, dad calm down! I’m still at the academy! I’m fine!” She spent some time trying to calm them down.
Elsewhere on I-island, Melissa Shield found herself brought to a hug by her father as her eyes widened while she blushed at the words.
“Mother? Husband? Late? I…I…I…”
“I take it that means that you aren’t secretly dating anyone right?” Her father asked her as Melissa covered her face.
“Dad!” She said as her face became redder while wondering who her future husband was. For some reason static was heard when they said their father’s name.
All Might coughed slightly as he heard Melissa’s name before he smiled warmly.
‘Husband huh? Guess I will need to see who manages to steal her heart.’ Though he wondered what kind of Quirk their father had and what was up with that static.
“But make no mistake Japan. What you will see will show dark truths, things that were deliberately kept in the dark as well as every ugly secret hidden by your Pro-Heroes and HPSC. Your values and society have long been gone in the future and you will see why it happened. As for us, I will surrender and provide information to U.A Academy and All Might and ONLY to them. Should someone else try to arrest or recruit me I won’t hesitate to use force. You do NOT want to deal with me, I promise you that.” He coated his body in green and blue lightning as his hair glowed while lightning flashed above him, striking him as the wind picked up. He lifted up his hand and a giant beam of lightning shot up from his hand into the clouds, parting them.
The citizens of Japan looked in awe as David showed his power. Some wondered if he was the one who killed the villain leader while others wondered if his brother had the same abilities.
Some with electricity Quirks like Denki Kaminari whistled as they saw the power display.
“You know, he looks like you actually. Maybe he is your son Kaminari?” Shoto Todoroki said as he noticed the similarity in hair color and Quirk.
“Eh, you really think so?” Denki asked Shoto who shrugged his shoulders.
“Well he has the same hair and Quirk so maybe he is?”
“I don’t think so Todoroki-san.” Momo Yayorozu told him as she put a hand on her chin, “From what I gather those two never visited Japan before, meaning that their father either moved away or Japan was destroyed before either of them were born.”
“Besides, Kaminari here doesn’t have good flirting skills so I doubt he could charm an inventor like Shield Melissa.” Jirou Kyoka bluntly told them with one of her jacks wrapped around her left index finger.
“That hurt Jirou.” Kaminari said, as he looked depressed while she shrugged.
“Hey, I’m just telling the truth.”
“WOULD YOU SHUT UP ALREADY YOU DAMN EXTRAS?!” They all flinched as Bakugou Katsuki shouted at them while the blonde man on the screen pressed the Y button. The screen changed to show a timer:
3:00
2:59
2:58
“As for me,” Kenji said before a vicious smirk appeared on his face, “I will be cleaning up the streets from all the trash who seek to find the leader. Mark my words all of you, if I see anyone trying to become villains or if you are already a villain who won’t surrender to the authorities after the first ‘season’…” His hands shifted and rippled before turning into large claws that he used to point at the screen while flesh tendrils appeared on his back, “I will tear you apart and leave no trace of you for the authorities.”
Many were horrified and shuddered as they saw his powers.
“What the hell is someone with a villain Quirk like him doing as a hero?” One man sneered as others frowned.
“They said they joined the war effort when they were twelve. That means that the heroes must have been desperate if they let him be a Pro-Hero.”
“Someone better stop him before he ends up helping the villains.” Another person said as he glared hatefully at the hooded man.
In Deika City, a man in a business suit frowned as he looked at the man’s powers. The awe from seeing David’s powers went away upon seeing the terrifying power that Kenji possessed.
“Before any of you complain, know this. We are no heroes, we are soldiers, drafted to fight in a devastating war and as such, we don’t have the moral obligation to either look heroic or have “heroic” powers. We are here to prevent a war and if you don’t like it, you can fuck off.” Kenji said as his hands returned to normal and he turned to David who sighed at his words.
“As my brother said, we aren’t heroes nor are we villains. We are soldiers and as such, we have to do some immoral things that many of you would frown upon. But know this, we are trying to save humanity and if we have to kill hundreds of people to do it, we will do so. You can’t comprehend what we have seen in the war so don’t start judging us when you don’t know the sheer horror of what happened in the future.” David said as he lowered his respirator and scarf.
“For now we implore you to pay attention to what you are about to see. Father, mother, if you can see us, please forgive us. We have to do this for both your and humanity’s survival.”
Kenji jumped away from the roof while David stayed behind and sat down while the timer on the screen ticked down.
“Find that damn man! Make sure he harms no one!” President of HPSC said as everyone ran around, calling every hero who wasn’t busy.
“What about David ma’am?” one of her secretaries asked her. Mera looked at the blonde time traveler in anger as she put her hand on her chin.
“Call Hawks. Tell him to catch him. Bring that sphere here too.”
“David already said that he won’t surrender to anyone but U.A Academy and All Might.” Her assistant tried to reason before a book was thrown at him and hit him right in the head.
“I don’t care! While you are at it, search for any U.A student who might be the father of those two.”
They said their father was a U.A student so they might as well get a head start on catching them before they reveal any secrets that they kept from the public.
“Nezu.” All Might said as he turned to the principal.
“I’m already searching for who could be their father. How old is Shield Melissa?”
“She is 17.”
“So a third year or second year then.” Nezu began to look through the files again as Eraser Head and Vlad King both volunteered to hunt down Kenji.
“I’m afraid that most of you will be needed to stay here to make sure that the students are all okay.” Nezu told them before he moved to his announcement system.
“Attention all students and staff. Due to the events that transpired, all of you are advised to proceed to auditorium for public viewings of the past.”
“I’m going to get David. Maybe he will tell us who his father is if we bring him here.” He said as he moved to the door.
“All Might.” He stopped and turned to Nezu, “Do be careful with him. We don’t know what they had experienced so make sure that he trusts you.”
“Don’t worry Nezu! I’ll make sure he trusts me.” With that, Toshinori left to a car waiting for him outside the academy. His mind already thinking on what to say to the time traveler. As he muled on what to say his phone rang. He picked it up.
“Hello?”
“Uncle Might! It's me, Melissa!”
Shigaraki growled as the glass he was holding turned to dust.
“Damn heroes trying New Game Plus.”
“This might work in our favor. Kenji threatening to kill those who join our cause might convince them to join us for protection.” Kurogiri told him as he cleaned the glasses.
“Indeed, Tomura. Given the knowledge of how we succeeded in killing All Might we will possibly have more members join our ranks for the fame of accomplishing such a feat.” All for One told Tomura as he already started planning on getting the Quirks of the two time travelers.
“If any of them decide to do it for the rape of Mirko however I am dusting them.” Tomura told his sensei with a firm tone.
“You won’t try to capitalize on that?” Kurogiri asked him which earned him a glare from Tomura.
“I may be a villain and willing to kill people but a rapist is someone that I won’t allow in my League, Kurogiri.” Tomura told him as he paid attention to the screen.
Stain stared at the screen, hands clenched and a hateful snarl on his face as he waited for the timer to count down.
“Whoever killed you All Might, I will make them pay.” He went to sharpen his blades, preparing for a battle that he is determined to win.
