Lois and Jimmy watched in shock as the Task Force X helicopter flew above them. This lit a flame of determination in Lois that she never thought would have. She remembered when she was kid, she would ask her father to play with her but he only patted her on the head and carried on with his work. He was always on calls with his job and she remembered him saying a group of numbers. She realized later on that they were coordinates to a secret location. She ran back to her apartment like she was in a race against time. Jimmy followed her with concern for her as he never saw her this determined before.
Jimmy panted as he tried to keep up with Lois, “Lois, where are we going?!”
Lois admitted, “We’re going back to my place. I think I know where they’re taking Clark.”

Lois ran straight upstairs and rummaged through drawers below her bed. She told Jimmy to wait in the living room. He couldn’t help but fear for Lois. He never knew she could be this focused. Sure, she chased after stories for the Daily Planet but this was different. She knew the information and she heard it so many times that she memorized it in her mind but kept it hidden somewhere.
When she checked her bulletin board, a folded sheet of paper fell behind a pinned newspaper clipping. She picked it up and unfolded it. Her eyes widened with realization as this was the coordinates that her father talked about. She grabbed her laptop and went downstairs to the living room where Jimmy was fidgeting the shutter on his camera.
She slammed her laptop on the coffee which scared Jimmy in the process, “I found it.”
Jimmy grabbed the folded paper, “What’s this?”
She explained as she logged on to her computer and accessed a GPS website, “It’s our key to find Clark,” She then admitted, “I remember my dad repeating these exact numbers. I thought they were random numbers but they are coordinates.”
Jimmy glanced at the numbers, “I hope you know what you’re talking about.”
Lois scowled, “Just trust me, Jimmy.”
She grabbed the piece of paper out of his hands and began to type the coordinates. Her fingers glided on the keyboard like it was a life or death situation. This was like uncovering her dad’s secrets he kept from her and her entire family. When she hit enter, she was taken to a flat plane somewhere on the limits of the city. She took a picture of the address with her phone and closed her laptop.
Lois stated, “I have to go.”
Jimmy grabbed her arm before she opened the door, “Lois, wait, think about this,” He asked worriedly, “What if this is a trap?”
Lois sighed, “All I know is that Clark is in trouble. I know he’s in there.”
Jimmy offered, “At least, take me with you.”
Lois insisted, “I’m sorry, Jimmy, but I have to go alone.”
With this, she closed the door on him. This left him alone in her apartment. He walked back to the couch and began to fidget with the shutter again. He looked out the window, hoping that they could come back alive.
