Mrs. Brisby and the Bund of NIMH

Summary:

Elizabeth Brisby, the widow of Jonathan Brisby. A fair woman with four children; two sons and daughters. At the day of Jonathan Brisby's funeral, her existence surfaced in the society of all who hailed Jonathan as their hero.... with eyes of lust and desire opened, aiming at her the moment she is left with her four children and all inheritance her late husband passed on to her.

One of her children, Timothy is heavily ill as her entire family must leave Fitzgibbon family's property. Her son must never leave the house as he couldn't walk under the sun for a while. Despite the fright and unknown upcoming dangers threatening her, Elizabeth is willing to go through anything to keep her remaining family safe.

Chapter 1: Prologue

Chapter Text

Dear Jonathan Brisby,

It has been a decade you helped us with founding the bund of NIMH, secret sanctuary for our people who escape from horrid experiments. Five years since you departed from the bund. Two days since your help in our plan...and your passing. Now, everything is changing. We cannot stay. We must move our new bund to another place, where no must know who we are. And what we can do.

Your death devastated us, Jonathan.... and your death, have unsealed the existence of the ones you were so desperate to protect; your family. Your wife. Your children. Worry not, my friend... I made sure their encounter with your family was brief. However, I fear there are some who are aiming their greed and desire towards them... especially, towards your wife.

Perhaps, that is why you left a will, didn't you... to have all your inheritance, your possession pass down to your wife, trust in her judgment to protect herself and the children. I've sensed that soon... your wife Elizabeth will meet us in the bund. Someday.

And that is then, my friend...I would finally repay your kindness.

May you Rest In Peace, Jonathan Brisby.
