Abruptly, Zhongli feels displaced, eating a dish he created, but cannot recognise, like someone had dropped him in a Liyue that he hadn’t spent the last thousand years safeguarding. Zhongli spends the rest of his meal ruminating on that piece of Jueyun chili: that very sharp, very cutting pain descended from a genome that is already extinct.

“And is that not enough?” Childe asks. “Isn’t it enough to just do what you can?”

+for coco!! who has been having A Time of it all....i don't have energy to do much writing which i do miss, so this is just a small way to express my continual devotion for childe and zhongli being the mOST domesticated (and dangerous!!) husbands

+yes, it is rated E up there, but just imo humble onions, it really is more like a ~wobbles hand~ slightly Mature rating, if that. do give the fic a try, the writing is Gorgeous and chewy no matter how you look at it!
