Experiment 9: The Lucky Student Project

Summary:

To kill two birds with one stone.

 

20 teenage Ultimates have been selected to go through a series of controlled experiments, all to test the limits of their humanity. But among these tests comes the worst of all, a Killing Experiment. How far can a person's humanity be stretched until they reach their limit? What can really make someone "snap"? That is what we would like to know.

But most importantly, what effect can Luck have on these several tests, especially if its holder is in great danger?

As you might have read, although this story is based on the DR series and its template, it is a little different. Instead of 16 Ultimate Students and 6 chapters, there are now 20 Ultimates and 8 chapters to compensate. This will be a very long journey.

This fanfiction features heavy themes throughout which might make some uncomfortable. This story is not suitable to young children or those who are easily disturbed.

 

 

Some main themes throughout this entire fanfiction are: human experimentation, unethical experiments, generally unethical things, 4th wall breaking, homelessness and its effects… and general warnings for anything Danganronpa related (like graphic written gore and what-not).

 

 

Some other topics that might be upsetting to certain audiences are: copious amounts of swearing (like… a lot), mentions of suicide/suicidal thoughts/suicidal ideation, toxic/unhealthy relationships, childhood abuse, talk of eating disorders, various addictions, mentions of pregnancy loss/miscarriage, mentions of sexual assault, various mental illnesses, homophobia, transphobia, and more. More warnings will be added as the story progresses.

hihi! my name is agnostos! i am the sole creator of Experiment 9: The Lucky Student Project. i really hope you enjoy this story, as it is going to be very long and time-consuming.

 

before this story truly begins with the prologue, i should warn you all that i won’t have a set publishing schedule due to school and all that jazz. in addition to trying to keep my grades up so my measly gifted-kid brain doesn’t have a breakdown at the sight of any potential failing grade, i am also in good ol’ marching band which i just know will drain me. Balancing those two will be hard already, but managing to update this fic regularly and making sure it is to my standards will also be a challenge. so, if i go quiet for a few weeks to a month, just know i’m either off in another state playing my tenor sax ’til i faint or actively writing the next part.

 

and don’t worry! i don’t plan on abandoning this project; i’ve been planning this story for months now and— hell maybe even a few years if i think hard enough. this is a serious passion project i want to complete! i want to write all these silly little characters in the worst situations of their lives while simultaneously wishing they were in better places! i just can’t wait to finally start this project :))
