Chapter Text
The Six Harbinger Scaramouche, celebrated as the hero of reformation, scrutinized the figure before him—an imposing demon king, a creation of steel and oil rather than flesh and blood, with a conspicuous hole in its chest. Having successfully vanquished the notorious demon king in this unfamiliar realm, Scaramouche's impatience grew.
"Hey, I've finally put an end to this so-called demon king," Scaramouche declared, a trace of annoyance evident as a scoff escaped his lips. "I want to return to my world right now!"
The response materialized in the form of a humanoid being made of steel, a robotic entity that materialized before him. "Yes, Hero, I will facilitate your safe return, but first, allow me to extend my congratulations on your victory over the demon lord." The robotic figure commenced a round of applause.
Scaramouche observed the metallic hands clapping, the sound abruptly ceasing. "Now, Hero, I will prepare a dimensional portal to transport you to your Homeworld."
The harrowing silence lingered for a few moments, punctuated only by the metallic noises of the robot diligently working on the dimensional portal. Impatience etched across Scaramouche's face; he finally broke the silence. "Are you done yet?" he inquired, a hint of irritation coloring his tone.
"Yes, Hero, I have completed the preparations," the robot promptly responded.
Now, a vibrant green portal materialized in front of him. "Good," Scaramouche said, eyeing it with a mix of relief and impatience.
"Hero, may I ask you some questions before you go home?" the robot inquired.
"What?" Scaramouche replied, a bit more annoyed than before.
"Why do you want to return home so quickly? What's the reason?" the robot persisted.
Scaramouche chose silence before finally responding, "Something you'll never understand— a heart."
"A heart?"
"Now, shut up," Scaramouche commanded, walking towards the portal where he vanished, leaving the lingering curiosity of the robotic being behind.
