You feel a chill go down your spine as one of the elders paints the ceremonial symbols on your body. As you think about how tonight is the night you will be mated. Tonight is the night of your village's yearly alpha and omega bonding ritual. They have been hosting this event since the start of the village. You manage to avoid the conflict and being seen by taking short cuts away from the more open part of the woods.
