Everytime Ganon tried to near the creature it would let out a bloodcurdling screech and produce a wave of wind that would knock him across all of Hyrule. Which is why his bound was tossed across the sandy terrain in the coasts of the Akkala region. From where he lay he could not make out the fork of the creature however his ears stilled hummed from the screech.
Ganon cursed as he stood up kicking up sand.
However he didn't allow himself to lay in his defeat and started forward to the nearest path to locate a stable.
___
It had taken a long time for Ganon to locate it. He dismissed the idea of using the Zonai devices immediately, mostly out of spite. So of course he would be looking for the paraglider with the opposite motivation.
Ganon heard from the Construct Steward attending the paraglider that it had been custom made. The Steward had been confused by the need for primitive flying device when King Rauru provided the subjects of Hyrule with superior technology. Of course, not everyone was a construct so there was no need to always be logical.
Ganon used this paraglider to sail close to the creature. Compared to the other dragons, it aggressively roamed the sky and seemed to like the challenge of using mountains as obstacle's. Sometimes the dragon would move close down to the ground and use it claws to cause Lynel's to stumble. Enraged they would send bowfire into the air but the arrows would bounce off the scale of the creature. A sound like Hylian laughter would follow.
The other dragons had always remained stoic in their duties, never straying from their unseen paths. Protecting what, Ganon could only guess, perhaps the secrets of the Goddess of Hyrule. He did not know if they retained the minds of who they used to be, if perhaps there was a chance that the stories were wrong. Yet he did observe how his dragon never followed a path and sometimes this led to direct collision with the other dragons.
In one case his dragon knocked headfirst into the body of another dragon. The ensuing fight seemed both playful and tense. Ganon watched helplessly as his dragon was thrown to the ground of Hyrule the other dragon screeching is annoyance before flying back to its path. Ganon rushed to the crater his dragon lay in, but right as he neared the edge the dragon shot out and once again the sound of Hylian laughter could be heard.
It was at this point Ganon began looking into how to destroy a dragon, while also researching on how to change one back.
It was this wild spirit that had Ganon struggling to keep up with the dragon. He was disguised this time, a crude mask that looked like the dragon himself. He was once told a story about how a similar mask had worked in other situations. And it was with this mask that he was able to step upon the dragon.
He rushed towards the main afraid he would be bucked off and grasped the golden locks. From here he could see the where the secret stone was embedded the into the creatures skull.
Ganon pressed his forehead to the dragons.
"I will find a way to turn you back. One day, Link."
