The Terms of the Deal

Summary:

If he was going to be coerced into commandeering an Imperial cruiser, he would ensure he got something he wanted as well. And he wanted her.

“You’re changing the terms of the deal,” he growled, getting in her face.

“This is the way,” she said sarcastically.

Oh, she would pay for that one.

Notes:

There is canonical evidence and references to Din's dark past and sexual encounters in Seasons 1 & 2, and in this fic, Bo-Katan brings the dark side of Din out.

This is my take on what could have happened in Chapter 11: The Heiress

Chapter Text

Bo-Katan took a long pull of her fire-water and slammed the glass down with revulsion, shooting the man hitting on her a dangerous look. The message received, he walked away. Trask was not the place to find sexual gratification, no matter how long it had been or how tightly wound she was.

Her mind was on their mission, as it had always been. For years she had been in an endless fight to avenge her people and retake Mandalore.

Progress was…slow. The Imperial cruiser scheduled to depart Trask on next rotation could finally be a substantial step in her mission to recover what she had lost, but it wouldn’t be the child’s play their previously successful raids had been because the stakes were much higher. Success was critical for the next phase of her plan.

She watched Koska enter the cantina with a sparkle in her eye that made her look ten years younger.

“I have good news,” she exclaimed with a smirk.

Bo-Katan finished her drink and turned her body towards Koska on her stool, intrigued.

“A Mandalorian just landed in the port. It’s him .”

“Who?”

“How many Mandalorians do you suppose dress head-to-toe in unpainted beskar?”

Bo-Katan absorbed this news. She had heard the rumors of the lone Mandalorian hunter who single handedly took out an entire Imperial remnant on an outer-rim planet and fought off the Bounty Hunters Guild, escaping with an Imperial asset.

Mandalorians were stronger together, but with him , they’d be invincible.

For the first time in weeks, Bo-Katan smiled.

After swooping in, again, to save his life, Bo-Katan convinced the Mandalorian to join them at the cantina.

She walked ahead with the other man, mumbling something about an Imperial cruiser. He watched, transfixed, as her red hair blew in the breeze and was struck by the urge to tuck it behind her ear. The child gurgled beside him, interrupting his daydream.

“I know you’re hungry.”

The kid scrunched up his face and grumbled.

Truth be told, he would love nothing more than to lay his weary body down on the pallet at an inn and sleep for five rotations, but he and the child came all this way and nearly lost everything. He had to make that risk worth it. These three were the only lead he had.

He wondered what Bo-Katan’s story was. It was new to him, curiosity, as asking questions was against the Guild’s code, but he found himself fascinated by her. The sway of her hips and the fullness of her ass didn’t help either.

The group walked into a cantina and all commotion seized as the four Mandalorians made their way to a table, the kid floating along. Din was used to this. Just as the Armorer said, his full set of beskar-gam would draw many eyes. Talking resumed once they settled, the kid sitting between Din and Bo-Katan.

Taking a break from her speech about Mandalore, Din watched Bo-Katan toss her head back to finish her drink, his eyes following the pale column of her throat, and he had the sudden urge to put his mouth on it.

It had been a long few months of dead ends and obstacles on his quest to find the Jedi and he had accumulated a lot of pent up tension. It was what fueled him when violence became necessary, which was often, but he was never able to scratch the itch. Watching Bo-Katan speak, though, with her perfect white teeth and her perfect, plump mouth, Din considered another avenue for release and mentally filed it away for the next time he found himself alone.

Din prided himself on his honor, but truth be told, he was just a man. And Bo-Katan was more beautiful than a Mandalorian had any right to be. He looked around, dumbstruck that she wasn’t drawing every eye in the cantina.

He felt something stir inside of him, aching to reach out and touch her, to taste her. It was all he could focus on. He tried his best to ignore his thoughts and the sudden tightening of his pants, hoping it would resolve itself, but no such luck.

She looked at the kid, wide eyes suddenly snapping up to his. “What do you know of the Jedi?”

“Nothing. I was hoping you would help me by creed.”

She smirked, glancing at the man named Axe.

“I can lead you to one of their kind. But first, we need your help on our mission.”

Many eyes turned towards them as they prowled the rain soaked streets. No, not “them.” Him.

Bo-Katan was equally as mesmerized as the general public. She knew the stories about him, the deadly bounty hunter, a man whispered about and feared and dreaded. Galaxy knows, her forces had to eliminate many Guild members searching for him at their base.

Still, with him here in the flesh, walking by her side, she was struck by his magnetism. She concentrated on walking straight, startling each time their vambraces brushed against the other’s. It was an effort to combat her body’s bizarre magnetic pull to him.

What did he look like under there? She couldn’t imagine a man with a voice like that could be anything other than gorgeous. If the face matched the voice, keeping it covered was a crime.

He said something to the small green creature on his other side. Still walking, she turned towards him.

What is he? I’ve never seen one of his kind.”

“Me either,” he replied, voice sounding like a purr. A shiver ran up Bo-Katan’s spine. “He…has powers. I think that’s why the Imps wanted him.”

They arrived at his slip. Koska and Axe started climbing atop of the Crest, Bo-Katan and Din following behind. Before he knew what he was doing, he offered a gloved hand to her.

She glanced at it before looking back up at him with a sultry smirk. She took his hand and climbed up, both pulling away as soon as they were able, nearly knocked over by the intensity of each other's touch.

She almost felt bad about misleading him with their plans.

Adrenaline was always high the night before a raid, and tonight was no different. In the morning, she may very well locate Moff Gideon so that she could retake the darksaber and finally unite Mandalorians across the galaxy. It was all she was ever focused on. So why, now, was she distracted?

Bo-Katan started walking to her quarters. She, Koska, and Axe would typically spar or play a round of sabacc, and they called out to her.

“Where are you going?”

“I’m going to retire for the night,” her voice a pitch higher than usual. She entered her room and slammed the door shut behind her. She fell back against it, almost out of breath, tugging her pants down to her thighs. Then, she did what she had been needing to do for hours. She touched herself with two fingers, massaging one breast, and imagined the Mandalorian’s voice in her ear telling her what a good girl she was.
