During Charles's grief induced madness after Alex's death, his project of building a monument of her was under way.
It's mid 1984, and the lighting for the fancy embalmed corpse room was being figured out. In the process some idiot found out about germicidal UVC lamps.
Quickly drawn to the fantastic ghastly glow, it was quickly shown to everyone including Charles. The blue/uv color given off was just what they where looking for! Oh, and the way the light got scattered across the room was GREAT! The fluorescence was also a nice touch! The ozone smell was off putting though.
Everyone made sure to take good, long stares to take in the beauty.
What they where NOT looking for was waking up in the middle of the day with the distinct sensation of burning sand in the eyes and horrific skin rashes.
Needless to say, the lamps where quickly removed.
