the laughter spills from his lips the moment the word does, coming out in soft puffs of air against daniel's lips. ( MUTUAL CURIOSITY : neither particularly thought this would be something that hit them, never really had any draw to it before, but john couldn't deny that he wondered — a nagging curiosity. )
in a growing comfort with the title of 'sub' — and that was a long conversation and an even longer night on goggle for john to come to accept it — there's a little curiosity that's begun to blossom in john. there isn't much that really piques his interest more than anything else ; he loves what they have going, loves the restraint and reward ... loves the way that daniel hits him on the most stressful days ( and that was a nerve - wracking ask, discovery ... it's taken daniel some time to get comfortable with it : john thinks he falls in love a little more every time his open palm makes contact with his face. ) ... but john's never been much of a verbal partner, at least, not before daniel. ( he can't help but find himself curious. )
' alright , ' daniel says, rolling his eyes, but the smile never leaves his lips. ' we're not doing this. ' the laughter is blossoming, johnny can hear it in his voice, but daniel's got a better grip on it than he does.
' no, no, i wanna see this through, ' he says, pulling daniel's arms back around his waist. ' i'll be good, daddy , i promise. ' and therein the laughter starts again, so much closer to a giggle, than a laugh. john makes himself more comfortable in daniel's lap, rolling his hips in the process, making sure he knows he's still interested — he still wants daniel. ( it does nothing for him, not really — not that he expected to have a latent daddy kink hiding in him — but he can't deny that daniel's exasperated smile is doing so much more to get him going. )
' i've been a good boy — ' twitch of his lips, a matching smile on daniel's face. ( it's so, so different , when daniel mumbles, good boy , against john's ear, working him over in his hand, in his lap — and the words sound strangely foreign in john's voice. it's amusing, if not outright comical — but there's a warmth in john's heart that even the humor isn't enough to break the mood. this would be where he'd leave any other encounter, but not with daniel. ) with daniel, it's not only amusing ... it's still fun. john clears his throat, and tries again, ' i've been such a good boy today, daddy. ' and daniel can't hold back the laughter here, either. it's soft, and warm, and goes right to john's groin, probably out of spite. john leans in, pressing himself closer into daniel, stopping with his lips just beside daniel's ear, ' you have no idea how much i've needed this, daddy . '
