forgive me not

Summary:

"At least I don't have to work myself to death just to get a smile from a client."

A loud smack pierces the air.

Alhaitham feels a burnings sensation blooming on his right cheek, and for once in a long while there're real emotions on his face.

Kaveh clenches his palm to ease unpleasant burning, pressing his arm closer to his chest.

"I..." he stutters. "Alhaitham, I'm sorry..."

Alhaitham doesn't say anything. His gaze slides away from Kaveh, his face once again doesn't show any emotions, he blankly stares at the wall behind him, his irises are running back and forth as if he's thinking about something.

And then he just leaves.

Notes:

listen yall im so tired from seeing angst about them literally everywhere
so here's a fluff for all my fellow kavetham enjoyers who are tired from angst as much as me, hope you'll enjoy it <З

Work Text:

"Do you think you can repair it?" Kaveh asks as he watches Faruzan observing strange rectangle thing on the table in front of them. "It looks like some sort of a suitcase."

"Yeah, it's actually an ancient mechanism that probably was used for buildings' construction," she says after looking closely to the object.

"Oh?" Kaveh's eyes light up after those words. "You mean I can use it in my work?"

Faruzan glares at him with the look that practically screams "You know, I have to report to the Akademiya about this?" But seems that it's not what she actually would do. Kaveh seems to understand it as well, and now he's looking at her with puppy eyes.

"Tell me, why did you come to me?" she asks as she opens the suitcase to get a better access to it's insides. "I remember Kshahrevar being your specialty, not mine."

"And I remember only one person who's as good with ancient mechanisms as with deciphering runics," Kaveh says, taking a seat across the table. "Plus, I'm more an architect than a mechanic, things like this one are out of my hands."

Faruzan seems to be surprised a little by his answer.

"I thought it was just an excuse to ask me to join your darshan again," she says after a while.

"I'd never ask you to drop on the doing you love the most," Kaveh shakes his head.

"Thank you, nice to hear that at least from one sane scholar," she smiles. "There's no severe damage on important details, I think it simply run out of energy." Faruzan closes the suitcase. "Can you apply some?"

Kaveh rises his hand, coated in green light, and puts it over the mechanism, filling it with dendro energy.

For a moment nothing happens, but then two dots appear on little screen in the middle of the suitcase, and it makes mechanical noise.

"Oh, so it's alive!" Faruzan exclaims. "I think I know what it is," she says, standing and going to the book shelf. She looks through shelves, takes the book she was looking for and flips through the pages. "I've read about it once, but never thought I'd have an opportunity to witness one of those with my own eyes," she excitedly gives Kaveh a book, opened on the page where it says about mechanisms that were used by architects to construct buildings during the era reign of King Deshret.

"There's no way I'd report this to the Akademiya," they say at the same time, exchanging gazes. They watch as the suitcase floats towards them, and Faruzan takes the book from Kaveh's hands, flipping through pages once again.

"It says here that you need to bond a connection with it if you want it to become your helper," Faruzan reads from the book.

"It has to have a name," Kaveh says, watching floating rectangle. "Hey, little thing, do you have a name?" the architect asks the suitcase.

The thing stares at him blankly.

"I don't think it understands," Faruzan says, closing the book. "Listen, my name is professor Faruzan," she points at herself. "His name is Kaveh," she points at Kaveh, "and you?" she points at the suitcase.

It stays silent, keeping blankly staring at them.

"Let me try," Kaveh says. He repeats her words, and then suddenly mechanical noises are coming from the suitcase.

"Meh-rak."

"It's name Mehrak," Kaveh excitedly claps his hands.

"Seems like the connection has already formed at the moment when your energy filled it," Faruzan notes. "It will need constant recharge, so the best option so far is for you to keep it to yourself," she says suddenly in a very scholar manner.

"Thank you a lot, professor Faruzan," Kaveh decides to indulge her a little, knowing how she's fond of being called a professor.

"But I'll ask you to leave Mehrak to me for a few days, I want to properly inspect it, and maybe add or improve some features of it," she catches the suitcase that shut down due to the lack of energy.

"Yeah, sure, let me know when you're done," Kaveh waves his hand carelessly, and heads out of her office.

What he never notices, is a mischievous grin that blooms on Faruzan's lips as he walks through the door.

"At least I don't have to work myself to death just to get a smile from a client."

A loud smack pierces the air.

Alhaitham feels a burnings sensation blooming on his right cheek, and for once in a long while there're real emotions on his face. He's genuinely surprised, he looks at Kaveh, and sees his own reflection in those carmine eyes — Kaveh is no less surprised than him. It's the first time when their verbal fight got to a physical one. Alhaitham never intended to actually offend Kaveh with his words, he just loved their little bickering, but looks like this time he went too far.

Kaveh clenches his palm to ease unpleasant burning, pressing his arm closer to his chest.

"I..." he stutters. "Alhaitham, I'm sorry..."

Of course, he didn't do it intentionally. Kaveh never even thought about getting in a real fight with Alhaitham, knowing he'd lose without even trying. But when he heard those venomous words leaving the scribe's mouth his hand moved on it's own.

"Alhaitham..." Kaveh says again, making a little step closer.

Alhaitham doesn't say anything. His gaze slides away from Kaveh, his face once again doesn't show any emotions, he blankly stares at the wall behind him, his irises are running back and forth as if he's thinking about something.

And then he just leaves.

Kaveh watches him going through the front door, closes his eyes and flinches when the door slams.

He slides down to the floor and buries his face in his knees.

He feels miserable.

It's not fair.

It's Alhaitham who hurt him, it's Alhaitham who has to feel bad about it right now, but he just left, making Kaveh to feel guilty about expressing his emotions in that way. It will be a miracle if Alhaitham would talk to him after this. And the last thing Kaveh wants is for Alhaitham to stop talking to him. Why do those who we love the most cause us the most pain?

Kaveh gets up from the floor. The burning sensation in his palm almost faded away, and he clenches his hand harder, hard enough to leave crescent-shaped marks on his skin. He needs to sleep it out.

And this is exactly what Kaveh does after locking his room's door. He drops into the soft embrace of his bed and cozy blanket, deeply inside desiring for it to be a certain someone's arms, and drifts off to sleep.

This is going to change everything.

***

Kaveh wakes up when it's far behind midnight, and the moon has already past it's zenith. He goes out of his room to check if Alhaitham has come back, but it seems like he didn't. Knocking on the scribe's room's door doesn't lead Kaveh to anywhere, no one answers. The moment he's about to sneak inside there's a mechanical noise behind him that makes him jump in surprise.

It's Mehrak. Though he's been staying with them for a while Kaveh still didn't get used to it follow him everywhere.

"You scared me," Kaveh scolds him, whispering in case if Alhaitham's behind the door and could hear him. "Don't do that again."

Mehrak makes a noise again when Kaveh puts his hand on the door handle.

"What?" Kaveh turns to him. "It's not like I'll steal his things or something. Just don't tell him."

He slightly opens the door making enough gap to observe insides of the room.

Turns out Alhaitham wasn't in there. Everything looks like he never came back since morning and even after their argument. Most likely he returned to his office to continue his super important work as an Acting Grand Sage.

Kaveh huffs. Is Alhaitham really going to play a victim in this situation?

Sure, Kaveh feels guilty of what he did, but comparing it with the words that Alhaitham had said…

He closes the door, and heads out of the house, not minding Mehrak still following him from behind.

He needs to drink. Right now.

***

Lambad's tavern greets him with very much usual hustle and bustle for this hour, but Kaveh takes a sit in the back corner, and orders a bottle of wine. If not the certain circumstances he'd definitely join the gaiety, but today is not the day.

By the time Kaveh finishes the second bottle of red wine and orders another one, he hears a familiar voice talking to the waitress that just left his table. The next moment he watches Cyno taking a sit in front of him.

"General," Kaveh salutes him with his half empty glass. "Unusual to see you here," he leans on the back of his chair. "What brought you here at this hour?"

"Unusual to see you here," Cyno repeats after him pointing at the last words and tapping on the wooden surface. "Why aren't you with others?" the general glances at the crowd, always on alert in case if his involvement will be needed.

"I don't have a mood for that," Kaveh sips hot liquid from his glass and winces.

"Did you fight again?"

You can never hide something from the sharp eyes of General Mahamatra.

"Yes, we did," Kaveh sighs. "And I hit him."

Cyno's eyebrows go up in surprise.

"You… hit him?" he repeats, looking dumbfounded.

"He devalued my work!" Kaveh exclaims, drawing attention from some people at the nearest tables. "All the efforts I put in to gain trust of my clients, to make everything perfect for them, he devalued it!" he buries his face in his hands.

Cyno gives him a pitying look. Kaveh needs someone to listen to him, and the general's here, ready to help him bear the suffering.

He quickly glances at the living suitcase that floats near Kaveh's right shoulder, and it suddenly make's a happy face. Weird. Why did the architect bring it here? Well, at least Kaveh's not always alone and has someone he can talk to as well, even if Mehrak can't answer.

"But you know what's the worst?" Kaveh raises his head from his hands. "The worst part of all of that… is that I feel guilty, and I'm sure… even more than he should," Kaveh starts to stutter, his tongue slurring. "It's him who should be sorry, not me!" He exclaims, drawing attention once again.

"Kaveh…" Cyno starts.

"Oh, please, I know that look, no need in pitying me," Kaveh finishes the wine. "Where's that waitress?" He turns around to call for a girl that was serving him.

"Kaveh." This time Cyno's voice is stricter. "I told her that it's enough for you for today," he says when Kaveh finally looks at him. "I asked her to bring you the bill, but she told me an interesting thing."

Kaveh drunkly blinks at him, but his eyes widen as if he's suddenly sober after hearing Cyno's next words.

"She told me that someone has already paid for you," Cyno stands up. "Alhaitham probably told the owner to write all your future bills on his name. Listen…"

"What's he trying to do…" Kaveh asks referring more to himself than Cyno. "Is he trying to pay off of me like that or…"

Cyno lifts him from the table and carefully pushes to the exit.

"I think you two have a lot to talk about," he says, when they're out of the tavern. "Let's go, I'll walk you home, you'll sleep, and then talk to him in the morning with a fresh head," Cyno sniffs him, and adds, "or maybe not that fresh."

Kaveh leans on him, and with Mehrak following them, they get to Alhaitham's house.

"Cy-yno-o…" Kaveh drawls his name. "Why did I happen to love him? He's such a brute, and I still… I'm just…"

There we go. Cyno sighs, not surprised at all.

"Love's blind," he says when they get to the door. "But if you're interested in my point of view, you just portray him better than he carries himself, deep down you know he's better than the way he treats you, and you wait until he cracks that mask, showing his true self."

Kaveh, even though drunk, looks dumbfounded.

Cyno chuckles, shaking his head.

"Go get some sleep," he carefully pushes Kaveh inside of the house. "And talk to him."

He watches as Kaveh disappears behind the closed door.

"Dear Lord Kusanali, I hope he won't remember any of that," Cyno murmurs to himself as he leaves, making his way to Gandharva Village.

***

Kaveh wakes up an hour before the afternoon, and immediately groans from dull pain that pierces through his head. He blinks a few times adjusting to the bright light that flows in between opened curtains on the window, and the next his gaze is stuck on is a glass of water and a vial of weird-colored liquid on bedside drawer. It tastes as it smells — tart and sour, but Kaveh drinks it all the way, wincing. He remembers Cyno walking him home, the general probably told Tighnari about it, so this is most likely from where the vial came from because if they had at home such strong hangover remover Kaveh would know.

He walks out to the kitchen, noticing that he's home alone, once again. Though there're plates of fresh sliced fruits, pita pockets and some candied ajilenakh nuts left on the table.

Kaveh sighs. Does Alhaitham avoid him? Then why did he leave all of that here? He really can't understand his intentions.

Still, Kaveh decides to take a quick late breakfast, he almost holds a moan from how delicious it is, makes sure don't leave a single dirty plate, and runs on the meeting with Tighnari that they had planned a while ago. Since Alhaitham decides to play silent Kaveh's happy to oblige. He didn't want to get in another fight.

The sun's in the middle of the sky, when Tighnari meets him in front of the Puspa Cafe.

"Thank you for coming," Tighnari greets him. "I didn't know who else to ask since Madam Faruzan is busy with her duties in Haravatat."

"Let me treat you for a meal, and I'll listen to what brought a forest ranger all the way out here," Kaveh walks in first.

He orders a portion of mushroom hodgepodge, and on Tighnari's quirked eyebrow he says, "I wanted to thank you for that weird mixture you sent. Cyno probably told you about yesterday. I really appreciate the care."

Tighnari gives him a strange look.

"He did, but I wasn't the one who sent it," he says. "Alhaitham came to me early in the morning, asking if I have something from a bad headache. I thought he was feeling unwell, but now I see the reason," Tighnari hides his smile in his cup of tea.

Kaveh's silent. What the… Does it mean Alhaitham took care of him last night? Kaveh remembers he woke up in his pajamas but he doesn't remember how he changed. And the vial…

A realization flashes in his mind, and it seems to shown on his face.

"Let's talk about what I called you for," Tighnari doesn't pay attention to Kaveh's inner conflict not risking embarrassing him more than he probably feels right now.

They talk about the fully automated irrigation system that Madam Faruzan mentioned last time when she tried to escape her duties. She made it up, but later Tighnari was actually interested. Precisely, it's a system that can automatically adjust the amount of water it provides based on the season and the plant species involved. Tighnari thought it might be useful for Aaru Village, since rains are a rare occasion there, it would help villagers to develop their own agriculture. Kaveh helped him with technical part, in general he described how it's better to make mechanisms work, and where it's better to place it.

"By the way," Tighnari says once they're done. "I was asked to tell you that your funding application is approved. I don't know what's it about, but, please, don't build a house over a Withering Zone again."

Kaveh chokes on his food.

"My… What?!" he exclaims.

"Please, don't scream," Tighnari twitches his ears in annoyance.

"Sorry," Kaveh apologizes quickly. "Are you sure? As much as I remember, applications can be approved only by a Grand Sage."

"I'm just telling you what I've been told," Tighnari shrugs his shoulders. "You don't seem happy."

"I just don't get why's he doing it right now," Kaveh sighs. Alhaitham's definitely up to something.

"What do you mean?" Tighnari asks, genuinely interested.

"I made an application three times, and he declined all of them," Kaveh explains. "Something has changed," he quickly gathers the drafts. "I have to go, I'll catch up with you later."

Kaveh runs to the Akademiya, intending to go straight to Alhaitham's office. Anger boils in his veins. What the hell does Alhaitham think of? The more it goes the more Kaveh makes sure that the scribe's trying to pay off of him, at first by paying for his bills, and now this application that Kaveh has already forgotten about.

Unfortunately, matras didn't let him in, saying that an Acting Grand Sage ordered to not let anyone in to not disturb him.

Kaveh goes back at home, angry and annoyed, deciding to wait for him until the evening, and not to waste time he looks closely to the drafts they made with Tighnari. With the help of Mehrak Kaveh creates a hologram of mechanisms, and puts all details in their places, making sure everything will work fine.

Too much deep in his work Kaveh doesn't notice how time flies, and doesn't hear the front door opening and closing, informing about Alhaitham's presence.

And that's how the next few days go. Alhaitham wakes up early in the morning, goes for a work hours before Kaveh, and comes back either when Kaveh's not at home yet or he comes after Alhaitham, and still doesn't get a chance to talk to him because Alhaitham locks himself in his room with those stupid soundproof earpieces.

Kaveh patiently waits for a day when Alhaitham will accidently forget to lock the door. It's starting to get on his nerves. Now he's one hundred percent sure Alhaitham avoids him on purpose, and he's very determined to get the scribe out of the shell that he got himself into.

Kaveh is patient, but all patience comes to an end one day.

The last straw breaks when he comes to Dori. He finally earned some mora, and willing to pay some since he's still indebted to her. The amount that left is not that big, and Kaveh catches the opportunity.

"Sorry, pal, but as much as I love mora, I also value the trust of my clients, so I'm telling you, your debt's over, go thank that friend of yours who graciously paid for you," she says, when Kaveh shows her a bag of mora.

Okay, that's enough. He's already been through a lot.

***

Alhaitham's reading a book when Kaveh storms in.

"There you're, finally," Kaveh puts Mehrak on the table and stands in front of the scribe. "Do you think it's funny, making fun of my financial situation?"

"What are you talking about?" Alhaitham asks, without looking away from the book.

"Put that book down and talk to me," Kaveh yanks the book from Alhaitham's hands, making him to look at him. "First it was Lambad's tavern, then that funding application, and now Dori tells me my debt is over because a friend of mine kindly paid for it. Care to explain?" Kaveh folds his arms on his chest.

"Do I disgust you that much that you don't want to accept help from me?" Alhaitham sounds… hurt?

"It's not about accepting help," Kaveh sighs, rubbing the bridge of his nose in annoyance. "It's about accepting help from you."

"Oh? And what’s wrong about me?" Alhaitham stands up from his chair, mirroring Kaveh's posture. Their height difference isn't much, but the scribe still looks intimidating, leaning over him like this.

"You never do anything for nothing, only if it benefits you," Kaveh unconsciously makes a step back. His anger suddenly faded away, giving place for tears, and he gulps. "Stop making me feel even more miserable than I am already."

Alhaitham looks dumbstruck. Miserable? He never intended to make Kaveh feel miserable.

"Kaveh…" he starts, but gets interrupted.

"He devalued me!" Kaveh's voice is suddenly heard from behind.

They stare stupidly at each other, but the moment Kaveh realizes what's happening, it's too late, Mehrak plays the record again.

"All the efforts I put in to gain trust of my clients, to make everything perfect for them, he devalued it!"

Though Cyno asked the Lesser Lord Kusanali to make Kaveh forget that night, his prayers, unfortunately, weren't heard. Kaveh remembered everything he had said back then, and he knows what's next, if Mehrak really recorded his whole conversation with Cyno. He has to do something or the truth will be revealed. He couldn't let it happen, at least not like that. He could just turn Mehrak off, but Alhaitham's blocking the way to the table.

"But you know what's the worst? The worst part of all of that… is that I feel guilty, and I'm sure… even more than he should."

That's it. Kaveh wishes the earth opened underneath him right now and devoured him wholly.

"Cyno, why did I happen to love him? He's such a brute, and I still… I'm just…"

"Him" is obviously Alhaitham. Judging by the look he gives Kaveh after Mehrak stops the record, Alhaitham understands it too.

"Listen… I was drunk, okay?" Kaveh looks away, not able to bear that gaze. He closes his eyes tightly and feels heat coming up his cheeks. This is very much embarrassing.

The next what Kaveh feels is unexpectedly soft lips on his own, and two strong arms hugging him across his waist. Alhaitham kisses him persistently, trying to make Kaveh open his mouth wider with his tongue.

And Kaveh lets him. He has already let him in his heart, to let him in his mouth is the least he can do right now.

"I'm sorry," Alhaitham says, panting, as he pulls away, pressing their foreheads together. "I never intended to make fun of you," he gently caresses Kaveh's suddenly wet cheeks, wiping away salty traces. "I was just trying to make things up. I thought you wouldn't want talk to me after… You know."

"Should have told me sooner," Kaveh chuckles helplessly, hugging Alhaitham back and placing his chin on his shoulder. "Because the only thing I've been desiring for the last days is just to talk to you and make things clear. I'm sorry too."

Alhaitham pulls away, far enough to keep Kaveh in his arms.

"No, don't be, I deserved it…" he wants to say something more, but Kaveh simply doesn't let him, kissing him first this time.

Alhaitham lifts him up under his thighs, causing a yelp from the architect, making him to grip harder on his shoulders.

"Don't drop me," Kaveh warns him, circling his legs around Alhaitham's waist. Alhaitham chuckles, tightening his arms securely around Kaveh. As if he would let it happen.

Bringing Kaveh to his room, Alhaitham carefully puts him down on his bed, and tugs off his shirt. They undress each other, baring not only their bodies to one another, but their souls.

Seems like Alhaitham's up to make it up for Kaveh, because the way he treats him right now makes Kaveh's toes curl. Alhaitham's kissing him everywhere he can reach, going down from his neck to his chest, sucking on both of Kaveh's nipples one by one, taking mewling whines out of him.

"Haitham…" Kaveh whimpers, when Alhaitham greedily sucks on his skin in the crook of his neck, leaving a blooming hickey there. "I have already forgiven you, you don't have to…" he gulps, "apologize this way…"

"Who said I want to apologize?" Alhaitham looks at him with his beautiful aquamarine eyes, filled with lust and adoration. "I want you."

Kaveh blushes and shivers at the same time.

"Only if you want it too…" Alhaitham frowns lightly, drawing back a bit, but Kaveh wraps his legs around him once again, keeping him in place.

"I do, I do," Kaveh eagerly pulls him closer, afraid that Alhaitham might actually leave. "Please, don't stop."

"Needy, are we?" Alhaitham teases him, sliding his hand down Kaveh's abdomen to his hard cock.

Kaveh doesn't answer. It's not like he's even able to talk, feeling Alhaitham pressing both of their cocks together and pumpering them with unsteady pace. The only noises he can make are soft moans and whimpers, and Alhaitham's desperate to get more out of him.

"Haitham!.." Kaveh cries out when Alhaitham speeds up his hand's movements. "I'm gonna come, I'm gonna come!"

"Come then," Alhaitham growls as he keeps pumpering Kaveh's cock, leaving out his own.

Hot white liquid spreads across Kaveh's abdomen, and he hides his flushed face in his elbow.

"Did you really have to…" the end of his question dies in his moan, because Alhaitham gathers his semen with his fingers and pushes one inside.

He adds two more, aiming straight to Kaveh's prostate, and Kaveh buckles his hips up, moaning.

"More, there, more, please," he whimpers.

"Shh, patience."

But Kaveh doesn't listen to him, keeps demanding.

"Alhaitham, please, wanna feel you," Kaveh's begging, and Alhaitham's very sure he won't let anyone else to see the architect like this. They may argue, they may fight, but if their reconciliation will be like this every time, Alhaitham's willing to keep it to himself only. He doesn't like to share.

"I want you inside," Kaveh pleads. "Please."

And Alhaitham's happy to oblige. He slips inside with one sharp move, drawling a loud moan from Kaveh. He gives him time to adjust, but not even a minute later Kaveh starts fidgeting, trying to get some friction.

"Would you move, please?" he hisses impatiently.

Alhaitham humms in response and starts to move, slowly pulling away and slamming back with enough force to make Kaveh roll his eyes in pleasure. He sets a steady pace, making Kaveh to mewl with each thrust, but Kaveh feels as if it's not enough.

"Faster," he demands. "I'm not fragile, you know."

"No," Alhaitham suddenly looks at him in the eyes, noticing each and every little speckle in those pretty carmine irises. "I don't want it to be just... sex," he exhales, as he pulls away. "I want to..." he stutteres, pushing back in, "...make love with you."

"Why're you... saying such things..." Kaveh pants, blushing even more, and looks away.

"Because," Alhaitham finds Kaveh's hand, intertwining their fingers, and squeezes hard, "I love you." To confrim his words Alhaitham kisses him, and Kaveh sobs. Finally, he said it.

"Say it again," Kaveh asks, pulling back and cupping Alhaitham's cheek with his free palm. "Say it again."

"Love you," Alhaitham says again. "Love you so much," he keeps chanting it like a mantra, and buries his face in crook of Kaveh's neck without stopping his movements.

Kaveh presses him closer by his nape, weaving in soft grey strands with his fingers, and whispers in his ear, "I love you too."

Hearing a confession straight from Kaveh's lips sends Alhaitham over the edge.

"I'm close," he warns, and Kaveh squeezes his legs tightly around Alhaitham's sides, clenching down on him purposefully.

"Inside."

Alhaitham comes hard, coating Kaveh's insides with his semen, and Kaveh follows him a moment later, staining his own and Alhaitham's stomachs.

They stay like this for a while. Alhaitham, feeling sticky, pulls away completely, he wants to say something, but the sight of his seed leaking down Kaveh's legs catches his attention. He gathers as much of it as he can with his finger and pushes back inside, willing to make it stay there for longer, and only realizes what's he doing, when Kaveh whines, overstimulated.

"Alhaitham!" Kaveh tries to crawl away for a bit, but Alhaitham grabs him by his ankle and looks at him with something feral in his eyes.

"Bath. Now."

***

Kaveh wakes up in the morning with a dull pain in his whole body. Alhaitham didn't leave even a single inch of his skin untouched.

The architect thinks about making a fuss over it later, but all his thoughts fade away when he feels an arm around his waist. He turns around to witness sleeping Alhaitham. His face is relaxed, and he looks much different from when he's reading a book or having a fight with Kaveh, frowning his eyebrows in annoyance. He looks peaceful.

Alhaitham's handsome, undoubtedly. Kaveh admires him, involuntarily. Surely, it's not Alhaitham's beauty that he fell for, he's not even sure why he did, he just knows that it's how it should be. And the thought about his feelings being mutual sends him on cloud nine.

As if sensing that he's being stared at, Alhaitham's eyes flatter open, meeting the ruby ones.

"What are you staring at?" the sleep rasp in his voice makes Kaveh to bite on his lip. Sexy.

"Nothing," he looks away, caught red handed.

"Do you have to go anywhere today?" Alhaitham asks, slyly smiling to himself.

"Not really," Kaveh says, trying to remember when he lined up his next meeting with a client and failing.

"Good," Alhaitham tightens his arm around Kaveh, making no way for him to leave, and closes his eyes. "Then we're staying in bed."

Kaveh wants to say something against, but finds no reason why they shouldn't.

"What about your job?" he asks.

"I believe they can bear one day without me."

The silence falls between them, and Kaveh thinks Alhaitham fell asleep, but then he speaks again, "How did that happen that Mehrak has a voice-recording feauture?"

Kaveh thinks for a bit, then a flashback pops up in his mind.

"Faruzan," Kaveh sighs, lying on his side, propping up his head on his hand. "When I found Mehrak I brought it to her, and she asked me to leave him to her for a while, because she wanted, as she said, "add or impove some of his features"."

"And you obviously believed," Alhaitham chuckles softly.

"Hey!" Kaveh sits up. "If not her, Celestia knows where we would be right now."

"Yeah, go thank her for that, and then everyone will find out that you're living with..." Alhaitham yawns, "me."

"You know what, I will," Kaveh suddenly climbs on Alhaitham, sitting straight on his hardening errection. "But it can wait," and kisses him.

Kaveh kisses him deeply, sliding his tongue alongside with Alhaitham's, biting on his lower lip, and the buldge under his ass becomes bigger.

Kaveh gets the hint, and lifting himself up on his knees, he removes the blanket from underneath himself, freeing Alhaitham's hard cock.

"What, I just kissed you, and you're already hard?" Kaveh teases him, pulling away. "Do I turn you on that much?"

Alhaitham blushes and hides his eyes under his bangs. Kaveh watches him with amusement, feeling like proud blooming in his chest because it's him who makes Alhaitham feel this way, it always was and would be him, Kaveh, and no one else.

"You can't even imagine how much," Alhaitham finally says, gripping on Kaveh's thighs.

Kaveh lifts up again holding on Alhaitham's shoulder with his one hand, helping with another to guide him inside, and sinks down to the hilt, making both of them to moan. Despite their love making session until the middle of the night, Kaveh's still unbearably tight, and it makes Alhaitham go crazy when Kaveh starts to bounce on him with sharp pace.

"Kaveh..." Alhaitham moans, circling his arms around his back and waist, pressing him closer to himself, kissing his chest, shoulder, neck, everywhere he can reach.

"Haitham..." Kaveh echoes him, grabbing at his shoulders and squeezing hard, leaving read mark on his skin.

He makes Alhaitham's cock go deeper with each thrust, and Alhaitham knows he's close when Kaveh starts to clench down on him like crazy.

Before Kaveh has time to warn him, Alhaitham wraps his hand around Kaveh's leaking cock, pumpering him in sync with his moves, making him moan even louder.

They end at the same time, Alhaitham's spilling inside of him, and Kaveh spends in his lover's hand, making him to chuckle.

"What are you... laughing at..." Kaveh asks, panting, and pressing his forehead to Alhaitham's.

"Just thought what would you do if I..." Alhaitham doesn't finish his words, taking his dirty hand to his mouth and licking off Kaveh's spend to the last drop.

"Ew!" Kaveh pulls away from him immediately. "Don't even dare to kiss me before you brush your teeth after that!"

"Yeah?" Alhaitham's eyes are sparkling as if he's thinking about to make a little trick. "Or what?" He leans forward, intending to kiss Kaveh on his lips, but the architect quickly wiggles away from his embrace.

"Fine, I'll go wash first, and this time for real!" He says as he runs from Alhaitham's room to the bathroom.

Alhaitham falls back on his bed, chuckling and smiling like a dumb.

This is definitely a new beginning.
