Backseat Riding

Summary:

Leona knew it was wrong. Wrong to enjoy the way Diana looked at her, the way her skin felt under her fingers, lean muscle and soft curves.

Her parents would kill her, and she’d be damned by the Sun itself.

But as her orange eyes met loving silver ones, all those thoughts flew from her mind.

Not even the Sun could stop her love for Diana.

Chapter 1: Chapter One

Chapter Text

It was wrong.

Those were Leona’s thoughts as she held Diana’s hand over the console of her car. She brought their joined hands to Leona’s lips, pressing a gentle kiss into the pale knuckles of her girlfriend. A stark contrast to her own tanned hand.

Silver eyes looked at their hands, a usually cold expression softening on Diana’s sharp features. She squeezed Leona’s hand, a small half smile on her lips.

The small look of contentment on her face made Leona’s heart flutter. Her brain and her heart in a battle that her brain was losing, always had been losing. She was just too stubborn to admit it.

A comfortable silence sat between them, broken by the faint sound of the radio. As much as Leona missed the stellacorns from Targon, she admired cars a great deal.

The atmosphere in the car was light, filled with a giddiness they were both trying not to show. It was the first time they’d been truly alone together in a few years.

Leona stopped at a secluded area near a park in Piltover. The park was massive and beautiful, unlike anything either of them had ever seen.

But Leona wasn’t there to stare at the park. Not when she had something much more important to look at.

The doors to Leona’s Targonian Muust car opened and closed with four thuds as Leona and Diana moved from the front seat to the back seats.

The backseat was spacious, a feature Leona enjoyed and hated. Whenever her friends got drunk or into a or fight, she brought them home in the back.

Diana shivered next to her, fidgeting in the short sleeved black shirt she wore. The shirt hugged her body, making Leona get distracted by lean muscle and soft curves.

“Are you cold?” Leona blurted out, orange eyes snapping up to Diana’s. She felt a flush rise on her cheeks as she realized she was staring.

She started pulling her navy and gold varsity jacket off. She didn’t like the cold, but for Diana she would take all her clothes off in order for her to be warm.

Wait. What?

“No, no, it’s alright.” Diana set a hand on Leona’s arm as she was halfway out of her jacket. “I’m not cold, but… would you mind… keeping the jacket off?”

Leona froze for a moment. “Alright.” She said, cursing in her head as her voice wavered and went up an octave. She cleared her throat and took the jacket off fully, tossing it in the front seat.

Her attention went back to Diana as she shifted closer, a hand going on Leona’s jaw. Leona had a moment to look into her eyes before their lips connected, and their eyes shut at the feeling.

This is wrong. Part of her brain was screaming, a voice she’d heard whenever she was with Lux. But this was so different.

Diana was a direct opposer of Solari faith, the religion they’d both been raised to believe in. Leona was the bulwark of the religion, the one meant to destroy their opposite, the Lunari. Diana was their bulwark, because fate was oh so cruel.

She’d believed in everything she’d been taught until Diana came along with her questions and rebellion. Her outright refusal of many Solari traditions.

Diana, by definition of Leona’s religion, was wrong. Everything she was, everything she stood for, every action she took. Everything was wrong.

Diana pulled away after a moment, her expression softening as she looked at Leona. Her thumb brushed her jaw as she pressed their foreheads together.

Her expression was relaxed and soft, a small smile on her lips. “I missed you.” She whispered.

“I missed you too.” Leona replied, her voice raspy. Her mind was racing, thinking of the moment they had broken up. It was because of her religion and her beliefs.

“Are you… having second thoughts?” Diana asked slowly, pulling away more. Her face steeled a little, her hand beginning to pull back.

“I…I am.” Leona admitted. She covered Diana’s hand with her own as she went to pull away. “I don’t want to stop though. I…I’ve already sinned enough since we’ve… been apart.”

Diana opened and closed her mouth, anger flashing on her eyes. She held her tongue though, as Leona continued.

“It made me realize how much I love you.” Leona continued. “I’m surggling to let go of everything I’ve known, but I know one thing. Being apart from you felt worse than a sword through the heart. You’ve opened my eyes to the flaws of the Solari.”

Leona shifted in the backseat of her car, moving to face Diana. Her expression was tense, a gleam of hope sparking in her eyes.

“I’m sorry.” Leona said finally. “I should never have broken up with you. My head screamed that being together was wrong, that liking women was wrong. But my heart… my heart doesn’t give a damn what my head thinks.”

Diana let out a small laugh at that, her voice breathless. “I understand it’s hard. I’m glad you’re learning to let go… all I want is for you to try.”

Leona nodded, the voice in her head quieter, fainter. She pushed it out of her head altogether as she leaned closer to Diana. “I can do more than just try.”

She connected her lips to Diana’s, her eyes shutting as she did. The kiss wa faster and more passionate than their initial one.

Diana broke it off, and Leona started to ask if something was wrong. Her words died before they could leave her lips as Diana shifted to slide a knee over Leona’s lap.

She swallowed audibly as Diana straddled her lap, setting her weight down delicately on Leona’s thighs. She blinked, her mind going blank at the warm weight pressing against her.

Leona leaned back, her hands going to Diana’s waist. Diana lowered her head, kissing Leona hard as her hands braced themselves on her muscular shoulders.

Leona immediately responded to the kiss, her grip tightening on Diana. She tilted her head to deepen the kiss even further, her mouth parting slightly to lick Diana’s lip.

Diana’s mouth opened, one hand reaching to tangle in Leona’s hair. She leaned forwards, pressing their bodies together as they kissed.

Leona lightly bit Diana’s lip before letting her tongue enter her mouth. A grunt ripped free from her throat as Diana’s nails scraped against her scalp in response.

Leona gently bit down every time Diana’s tongue went past her lips, letting her teeth scrape against it. Diana let out a muffled moan every time she did.

They pulled away from the kiss, breathing heavily. Diana wasted no time pressing her lips into Leona’s neck, starting gently near her jaw.

Leona tensed under her as she felt her kisses becoming firmer. She slid her hands up and down Diana’s thick thighs, fingers dragging against her. She slid her hands under Diana’s shirt, settling her hands on her waist.

Diana softly gasped against her neck, reattaching her lips more firmly and beginning to suck and nip at tan skin. She slipped her hands down and tugged at the bottom of Leona’s gray shirt.

Leona got the message and retracted her hands to quickly pull her shirt off. She busied herself pulling Diana’s jacket off after, trying to ignore the way Diana’s eyes raked her body.

“Gods…” Diana muttered, taking in every inch of sculpted muscle. The nearby street light gleamed on the hard ridges of Leona’s six pack, and the rigid muscles of her arms and shoulders.

She almost got annoyed when Leona tugged her shirt up, making her unable to reach forward and touch her. She shifted to allow her shirt to be pulled off, revealing her own toned body.

Leona swallowed thickly at the pale expanse of skin in front of her. She ran her hands over Diana’s muscled back, dragging one hand to smooth over the firm planes of her abs.

Diana hissed air out through her teeth at Leona’s warm touch over her cool skin. As Leona’s hands slid back down to hold her waist, she leaned forward and resumed sucking hickies into her neck.

She rested her hands on Leona’s stomach, diggging her fingers into washboard abs. She felt Leona’s hips twitch under her as she groaned, a low noise deep in her throat.

The sound almost made her moan, a stab of pure arousel hitting her right between her legs. She leaned back to breathe air against Leona’s neck, her hips rocking down onto Leona’s lap.

“Fuck.” Leona ground out, voice husky and low. Her fingers dug into Diana’s hips and she shifted, raising one leg to press her thigh against Diana’s core.

“Ah-fu-“ Diana dropped her head down onto Leona’s shoulder. Her hips bucked, searching for more friction. Her eyes fluttered closed in pleasure. “Leona-I… I need-“

Leona’s fingers immediately tugged at her jeans, nimble fingers undoing the button and unzipping them. She pulled Diana up and tugged her pants and underwear down. “I got you baby.” She mumbled, voice heavy with lust.

Diana shifted so she could pull them down below her knees, lowering herself back on Leona’s lap. She let out a high-pitched sigh as the rough material of Leona’s jeans pressed against her clit.

Leona’s mind nearly went blank at the damp warmth she felt through her pants. She dug her fingers into Diana’s hips and shifted her leg forward to grind her thigh against Diana.

Any doubts or thoughts of how blasphemous this was flew out of her head as she met Diana’s eyes. The silver color nearly eclipsed by her pupils and the haze of lust and love. Nothing mattered except the woman before her.

Diana lowered her head and attached them to Leona’s neck. Her teeth nipped hard at a sensitive part, causing a guttural groan to rip from her lips. Her hips jerked up, bucking her thigh harder against Diana.

The moans that spilled from her lips drove Leona crazy. The puffs of hot air against her neck, the occasional whimpers and whines escaping Diana’s mouth were nothing short of heaven .

“Leona.” Diana tightened her arms around Leona’s shoulders, her fingers tangling in long, red hair. She buried her head in Leona’s freckled shoulder, mindlessly grinding her hips down onto that muscular thigh.

Leona, ah!”

She couldn’t stop the noises that passed her lips, or the way she was moaning Leona’s name. Her brain was covered in fog as she rode Leona fervently, feeling pressure rise in her gut.

Leona’s eyes were half lidded as Diana’s thighs tightened around her, her movements became slower and more forceful. She grinded back against her, digging her blunt nails against Diana’s sides and scratching down them.

“Are you getting close?” Leona husked out, her deep voice impossibly lower than usual, a growl that sent shivers down Diana’s spine. She leaned back on Leona’s thigh, tangling her hands in that mane of red hair.

“Y-ye-“ Her voice broke off in a gasp as Leona pressed her palm against her. Her calloused thumb pushed against her clit, making her grind against it with every rock of her hips.

Diana threw her head back, muscles tensing and flexing as she got closer to her impending release. Leona’s name spilled from her lips repeatedly, the only coherent thought on her mind.

Leona could feel Diana’s thighs trembling around her, her eyes shutting in pleasure. She leaned forward and wrapped one arm around Diana’s waist, jerking her knee harder and pressing down more firmly with her thumb.

“Cum for me, Diana.”

Diana’s eyes shot open and she let out a strained moan, her mouth opening. Her hips stuttered against Leona, her thrusts becoming jerky and uneven before she came.

Leona rocked her leg forward slowly, letting Diana ride out her release on her thigh. Diana’s hips rolled at a slower pace, her forehead dropping against Leona’s as her cum soaked Leona’s jeans.

“That’s it…” Leona ran her hand down Diana’s sweaty back, smoothing her hand over it. Her leg slowed to a stop as Diana slumped against her, both of them breathing hard in unison.

They sat together for a few moments, both catching their breath and coming down from the high. Diana slumped against Leona’s warm shoulder, fingers rubbing against her back.

“I…I’m sorry about your pants…” Diana rasped out, her voice hoarse and cracking. She pulled away slightly from Leona’s shoulder. “I didn’t think…”

Leona shushed her softly, a smile crossing her face. “I don’t mind. No one’s going to see it at this hour… and if they did, I’d wear it with pride.”

Diana laughed, pressing a kiss to Leona’s lips. “That’s disgusting, Leona.”

Leona shrugged. “I suppose. But I can’t bring myself to care, not after how good that felt.”

Diana couldn’t argue with her there, so she didn’t. She simply leaned back with a smile, feeling giddiness rise in her. After four long years, she finally had Leona to herself again.

Leona looked back at her with the same expression, love clear in her orange eyes. “There was never a day I didn’t think of you, and regret my decision. I’ll spend every day trying to make up for my mistake.”

Diana kissed her again, a slow and loving one. “I’m glad you’re with me again. I…” Her voice trailed off, her expression pained. “Leona, please don’t leave me again-“

“Never.” Leona shook her head, cupping Diana’s face in her calloused hands. Her thumbs brushed the sharp angles of Diana’s face, her eyes bright with determination. “I won’t. I swear it. I love you. I never stopped loving you.”

Diana seemed to relax at her words, her eyes shutting briefly with a soft exhale. She gripped Leona’s wrists in her firm grasp. “I love you too.”

“Until the sun fails to set.”

“And the moon refuses to rise.”
