Will walks on Hawkins' high school hallways with El, because, why not?
He and his sister talk about Valentine since today is Valentine's Day. "Do you think there's someone who will ask me to be their valentine, Will?" El suddenly becomes down.
Will, as his big brother confuses, where is all this coming from? "Of course there is! Why would you think that?"
"Don't know, just—since today's Valentine and there's no one who asked me to be their valentine."
While El says that, they're already in their locker. El's still talking while opening her locker, and she didn't notice there's a letter in her locker.
"Look! There's a letter," Will takes a peek into El's locker, "maybe someone will ask you to be their Valentine." teases Will
He could see his sister flutter. She opens the letter and reads it before Will says to read it so that he can listen to the letter.
"Dear Beautiful Jane," El blushes at the compliment before she continues, "I've been thinking about you lately. I've been thinking about how much I love your long, brown hair, your nice smile, the way you laugh, and everything. I know that sounds cheesy, but,"
"Do you wanna be my Valentine?” She adds, “Full of love—"
El gasps and reads in disbelief who the writer is, and Will is curious about who is the guy asking his sister to be their valentine.
"Who's the sender, El?! I can die out of curiosity."
"Dustin—It's Dustin."
"That's… that's weird." Will already takes the letter from El's hand and reads it to make sure the writer is truly Dustin. Their Dustin.
El shakes his head. "It's not that weird, actually; it's just…"
Will swears that he can die of curiosity if El keeps doing this, "It's just what El?"
"You know what, nothing."
The boy sighs at El's answer, "Okay then, so what, you're going to say 'yes' to him?" El looks at him and nods, "I think so."
El adds, "How about you, Will?"
"What about me?" His brother asks while looking for something she can't catch in his locker.
"Did you say yes?"
"Huh?" Will looks confused at El, "What do you mean?"
"Are you going to say yes?" El makes Will more confused.
"What the hell are you-" The boy gets cut by his sister, who's pointing her finger at his locker's door.
With no words, the brother looks at his locker's door, and there's a yellow post-it that's stuck to a tape with words and some doodles that says:
He takes the note and reads it carefully. "Woah! Mike even drew some hearts for you, how sweet!" El makes his brother jolt.
Before Will can reply to his sister, a voice interrupts him. "So… What's your answer?"
The siblings turn around, and there's Mike—holding some chocolates. "So, what you're saying, big brother…" El teases, and Will becomes more flushed.
"Yes. I will."
"Yes what? I need the details." Mike says so smugly, followed by El's giggles.
Will, whose face still flushes, "Yes, I will be your Valentine, asshole! Now gimme my chocolate!"
