Chapter Text
After not seeing or speaking with him for god knows how long, he finally saw him. With a woman at that. And in a nightclub of all places.
Now he thought that nothing else would happen. Well at least he hoped. Looking at him, even for a second, already ruined his entire night. It brought back most of the old feelings that were buried after the fall out and a lot of resentment. If he had to hear him speak, even mutter a single sentence. He thought he’d just. Lose it..
He wanted to leave.
He just had to leave.
But instead of leaving right then and there something in his gut told him to stay.
he just sat there at the bar sipping a cocktail he’d been nursing for far too long. And of course he was staring at him. He didn’t want to look away. It was him. Even when he despised him, he couldn’t bring himself to look away. He was...
captivating.
So much so that he couldn’t not watch the both of them dance and grind against one another, song after song. Thankfully, his gaze went unnoticed.
After what seemed like the 10th song, he watched as the pair made their way to a table and drank together. And pretty soon they got sucked into deep conversation with one another.
As light banter soon turned into flirting, he thought they would go outside.
Probably to makout.
Like they’d used to do
However, that wasn’t quite the case. Instead of one of them pulling the other person outside like he'd assumed, he vanished. If only he didn’t look away from them. Then maybe he would’ve seen where he went. Fuck maybe he noticed him after all. Maybe he was upset enough to leave?
Yeah right.
He’d wouldn’t.
Not the Spencer he knew.
“He’s probably outside smoking a cigarette.” He mumbled to himself and downed his drink in one go. It was a pathetic effort of trying to forget about him. But it didn’t work. So he downed another, and another,
And another.
He was on his fifth or sixth drink. But he couldn’t get him out of his head. Besides, why did he care so much?
It doesn't even matter.
The noise didn’t matter, that woman didn’t matter...
Spencer didn’t matter.
And yet he was still thinking about him. Why was he thinking about him? Why is he still thinking about a person that didn’t seem to care about him in the first place?
He sighed.
Did he want his heart to be broken into a million pieces all over again?
To be left alone with the former pieces of memories that he once cherished.
That he once called his happiness.
His precious little sunflower seeds.
His lovely little sunflower seeds.
He was so deep in his thoughts that he barely felt the soft tap on his shoulder. “Hey.” Said the person who was next to him.
The tone of voice made him immediately tense up. It sounded familiar.
Too familiar.
He knew that voice…
He hoped it wasn’t who he thought it was. But once he turned around to look at the person who just sat next to him, it ended up being the exact opposite thing he was hoping for.
It was him.
It was fucking him.
