Honestly, jury’s still up on whether i’ll even use this blog at all or if i’ll let fandom consume me to distract from my problems

there’s been a lot of complicated personal issues that i can’t tell you about, and yesterday i met a guy who was involved in a lot of it and made a fool of myself in front of him by introducing myself with the worst pick up line

What’s a good gift to give someone you know very little about and have a complicated history with but would like to get to know better? (and also he is cute)

I’m traveling for a bit soon... maybe I could bring some kind of souvenir? The problem is I don’t know what his interests are
@interdimensionalcloneofyourwife: something sincere! if you don’t know that person’s interests, then give them something that would probably be appreciated by most people but doesn’t take up too much space or anything if for some reason they don’t like it. and if it comes from the heart or is something you made, then you might get some ‘it’s the thought that counts’ points. Since you probably don’t want to come on too strong, something relatively inexpensive is definitely for the best. I often give people food since it’s something i took time and effort to make, but not a huge amount. it's more of a good experience than something that will clutter up their place. if they don't like it or have allergies or something, they can throw it away or give it to someone else. and either way it doesn’t last (...which is also a good excuse to give them more food!)
