Arakita didn't want Shinkai to know he was awake. Laying here nuzzled up in his boyfriends chest, listening to his steady breathing and heartbeat, while smelling his musky scent was very calming, and Arakita didn't want it to stop anytime soon. To add to it, Shinkai had his foot hanging off of the hammock the two boys were cuddled up in in, using it to rock them back and forth. It was the most calm Arakita had felt in a long time. It was moments like these that made Arakita realize just how lucky he was.
Just then he felt Shinkai take a deep breath, and felt his boyfriends lips press against the top of his head. "I love you." Shinkai whispered, his face slowly moving back. This made Arakita smile to himself. "Yasutomo…I saw that. Are you awake?" Arakita looked up at his boyfriend, his smile unwavering.
"So what if I am?" He said, snuggling even closer to the red head. He pressed a kiss to Shinkai's neck, which was the closest to his mouth he could reach in his current position.
Shinkai chuckled, making Arakita's heart skip a beat 'damn him and his cute laugh' He thought to himself. Arakita kissed the same spot again, and Shinkai leaned down and kissed Arakita's lips.
"That tickled" Shinkai said with a smile.
Arakita nuzzled his face back into his boyfriends chest. "I wish we could stay like this forever."
