Can I keep you

Summary:

Bee moved from London UK to America after her parents passed away. Using the money they left her, she packed up her belongings and bought a small cabin in the woods, just outside of town. She never liked the hustle and bustle of city living and always wanted to live in the country.

Bee has been in town about a month now and quickly made friends with some of the inhabitants.

She finally felt settled and happy, until two Alphas came into her life and fucked it all up.

Chapter 1: Is it bad that I want to keep you?

Chapter Text

Wolf one

It was late. Really late. Dark sky. Rain pelting the car window. Not a car or light in sight, as you drive down the country road.

I should never had let Wanda convince me to watch the whole first season. I’m going to be so tired in the morning….I did really enjoy it though. I can’t believe Simon was Cassandras brother the whole time! I did not see it comin-

”Fuck!” You slam on the brakes and swerve the car to a stop. A few feet infront of you is a dog? A wolf? Oh no, he looks hurt!

You pull your hood up and get out of the car. The wolf - yep definitely a wolf - is limping on his front paws, blood in his white fur. Poor baby

”Hi baby” You coo, walking slowly, cautiously towards the injured wolf. Hands held up and crouching slightly, you’re about two feet away. Oh god I hope he’s a friendly fluff. Trust me to be eaten by wolves because I can’t help but think ‘puppy’

The wolf stares and bares his teeth slightly. “Hey, hey it’s ok. I’m not going to hurt you…..Are you hurt? Did you hurt your paw?” Your soft voice can just about be heard over the heavy rain. You crouch down further and gently extend your hand out. The wolf stops growling and shuffles closer. He sniffs your hand, his wet nose touching your knuckles. You smile softly and allow him to smell you. “Hi sweet boy”

He limps closer and nuzzles his head into your hand. Your scratch behind his ears and he lets out a little purr. “Aw you’re just a sweet little puppy aren’t you. Yes you are” You continue to smile at him and ruffle behind his ears. He still has his front paw raised and you can see red in his fur. Poor puppy. He must belong to someone, no way he’s a wild wolf, he’s far too friendly.

”Hi buddy, where do you live huh? Do you live near by? Is your mom or dad looking for you?” He simply stares at you, enjoying his ear rubs. “OK sweety, let’s get you out of this rain. I have a nice blanket it in the car, just for you” The wolf tilts his head at that and looks at the car. You can’t help the little giggle as you watch him. You move your hand and stand. Walking over to the car, you grab the blanket from the back seat and put it on the front passenger seat. You look behind you and see the wolf hasn’t moved. He’s standing there, paw raised and soaking wet.

”Come on sweet boy, it’s OK” You hold open the door and watch as he slowly limps towards you. He manages to jump into the seat and you place the blanket on him. You shut the door and walk around the car. Once you sit down, you buckle your seat belt and look at him. He’s lying down, red paw under his chin, staring at you. “Let’s go home, get you warm and dry. Oh. I have some chicken in the fridge. Would you like that? You must be hungry” He blinks at you as you pull away and drive to your cabin. Your home might not be much to some, but to you it was prefect. A little piece of heaven tucked away in the forest.

Once home, you open the door for him and he limps out. You take the now wet blanket from the front seat and walk towards your front door. You hold it open for him, but he’s hesitant to enter. His blue eyes scan around your garden and the enclosing woods. “It’s OK sweet boy. There’s nothing out there” You walk in, leaving the door open for him and turn on the lamp. It’s freezing, so you decide to make a fire. If there’s one thing you love about this cabin - besides the location - it’s the open fire. You’ve always wanted one. The smell of a fire and burning wood has always bought you such comfort. By the time the fire’s started, you feel a nudge at your back. He came inside. “There you are. See. Not so scary in here is it” You ruffle his ears once more and walk over to lock the front door.

Taking off your coat and shoes, you walk over to the kitchen and put the kettle on. Grabbing a bowl, you fill it with water, then go to the fridge and get the chicken out. You’d already had some earlier on to make a sandwich. You tear off some chicken and place it on a plate. Grabbing the bowl and plate you walk over to the wolf. He’s lying infront of the fire, slowly drying off. “Here baby, come get something to eat” placing the water and food infront of him. He lifts his head and sniffs it cautiously, nibbling a bit of the chicken. Soon he gobbles it all and laps up the water. You chuckle watching him. “Guess you were hungry”.

Taking the empty plate and walking back into the kitchen, you start to make a hot chocolate. You grab the mini first aid kit from under the sink and grab your drink, taking both into the front room. “Let’s have a look at you” Petting him gently, you feel around his body. He seems fine until you get to his paw and he whimpers. “Oh I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Well at least you don’t seem to be hurt anywhere else” Your grab the first aid kit and grab an antiseptic wipe. “OK buddy, you gonna be brave for me?” He looks at you as you hold his paw and lightly tap his wound. “Good boy, so brave!” You grab a roll of bandages and wrap his paw. That’ll have to do until I can take you to the vets in the morning.

He lifts his head and rests it on your lap, looking up at you. “Aww you’re such a sweet boy” You rub his fur. He’s so soft and fluffy, you’ve never petted a wolf before. They’re so much bigger and softer than you’d thought. Drinking your hot chocolate and petting the wolf, the fire starts to dwindle down. You yawn and he blinks at you. “I’m so tired, what do you say we go to bed, yeah?”

You go to stand and he stands with you. You take the water bowl, filling it up before you head to your bedroom. You hear the patter of feet behind you. You place the water bowl near the door and sit on the bed. “Come on boy” tapping the bed as you call him over. He walks in, still not putting weight on his paw, and jumps onto the bed. You give him a quick pet before you stand and start to undress. “I’ll take you to the vets in the morning, have them look at your paw and see if you belong to anyone” you mumble through your jumper as you pull it over your head. You slide down your leggings and take off your socks, throwing the dirty clothes in the washing basket. “Is it bad that I hope you don’t have an owner? I wanna keep you for myself” You smile to the wolf as you grab an oversized T-shirt to wear in bed. You unhook your bra and put the top on. The wolf just stares at you, tongue out. “You little perv, watching me undress huh?” You giggle as you walk over to the bed. You’re too tired to brush your teeth, you just want sleep.

Getting into the covers, you lie on your side and he shuffles up close to you. You smile and rub his ears. Closing your eyes “Night puppy”
