Chapter Text
The bus stop.
That was the first time you ever saw him, or so you thought. You had just clocked out of work and were waiting for the bus to get home. You have had a really rough day at work. Your co-workers treated you like trash, and your boss wasn't there to help. David even spilled burning hot coffee on you on purpose as your other co-workers laughed. You obviously weren't alone, however. For some reason, you felt an eerie presence.
You were being watched.
You don't know by who, or where, but you were being watched. You were the last one there to lock up your workplace, so you can't go back. You just have to stay there and pray that they wouldn't come near you.
After all --
Being watched from afar is better, right?
You were so focused on your own thoughts, so much so that your breath in the cold air was visible. And also audible enough for them to hear you.
They slowly crept into your direction, unbeknownst to you. Finally, the bus came, and you quickly gathered your things and scurried inside, barely missing an interaction with them.
-Bob's POV-
5:30 pm.
He was late again. Your shift ends at 5:00. He'd better hurry if he wants to see you.
It was a normal Tuesday night, for Bob at least. He puts on his usual devil costume, and gets ready to leave his hideout. He's been on the lam for a while ever since he escaped prison, so he needed to make sure that he lied low. Although, it's kinda hard to do that, considering that his devil costume had shades of bright red and crimson. He was tall, 6'4 at the least, on the heavier side, but due to prison, he was muscular. He was stalking you for a long time, maybe about 5 months after escaping prison? It was hard to remember, because in the moment, he only had eyes for you and you only.
Since the day he first saw you, he admired your curvy physique and your long, curly hair. He wanted...no, NEEDED to have you all to himself. And you can bet your bottom dollar that he was going to get you one way or another. No matter what it took. Including murder.
Per usual, he was so excited to look at you again, his heart beating faster than Usain Bolt himself. He could always tell where you are, even in a crowded place, you just had a distinct scent to him that was unmistakably yours. He could always recognize your voice, and your sweet, glowing skin. This time though, there was no crowd near you. It was just him and you.
You had to be the one that closed the shop today, as he didn't see any of your disgruntled and disgusting co-workers with you. He knew they hated you, and every time they had even dared to look at you in a way he didn't like, he would instantly want to make them suffer. Suffer like how they made you suffer. He watched as your co-worker, David spilled burning hot coffee on you and no one helped. He was fuming. Who the fuck had the AUDACITY to touch HIS betrothed. He was so ready to torture David to the highest extent. But he couldn't. Not yet at least. The bus still wasn't here yet, meaning this was his chance. His time to finally claim you his.
With his drool oozing from the side of his unhinged, grinning face, he slowly, yet surely made his way towards you.
Bob was heavy, no matter what way you put it, he was a large and heavy man. Yet, he walked as if he was as light as a feather, skipping towards you ever so slowly and delicately.
But then the bus came.
Shit. He had missed his chance, his only option was just to watch as you gather your things and make your way on the bus.
How could he have done this?! What's wrong with him?! But, he knows you saw him. He now knows that you know what he looks like.
And he was NEVER gonna let you forget it.
