Chapter Text
As the alarm goes off, Violet groans and rolls over to turn it off. Looking over at a snoring Evan. She smiles and climbs out of bed to look out the window. A sunny morning. As she watches a couple run together, she smiles. Looks over at the bed at a still sleeping Evan, feeling lucky that things seem to be going right for them. She crosses over into the kitchen to start making coffee for them both. Listening to still a snoring Evan and laughs to herself. She climbs back into bed and kisses him gently. Which didn’t seem to phase him.
“Evan! Time to wake up!” She says shaking his shoulder. To which she got no reaction. “Evan?” She said a bit louder shaking him. To which he responded grabbing her and throwing her onto her back and kissing her passionately.
“That wasn’t even funny!” Violet squealed.
“Oh yes it was. You should’ve seen your face!” He said laughing. To which Violet pushed him off her.
“Your coffee is on the counter.” She said getting herself dressed. But then sat back on the bed and smiled at him. She can’t stay mad at him, she thought.
“What’s wrong?” Evan asked getting out of bed himself.
“Everything seems to be going so right but also so wrong.” Violet set sitting down on the bed.
“Everything is going to work out. I maybe switching districts, but we will be together forever in the end. I promise you that.” Evan said kissing Violet on the forehead.
